This location offers a nice coffee shop experience. Food: I ordered my usual London Fog Tea Latte. They serve their beverages in a mug and on a plate, which for me is always an upgrade from a paper cup. It was made perfectly with whole milk, a little lavender, and a little vanilla, with a great aroma and a nice bit of frothy foam. I would normally get one of their scones, but I was saving myself for lunch. Next time! Service: I got a friendly greeting and had some nice chatting with the person taking my order. Atmosphere: This location is a bit smaller than some of their other ones. It is set up with seating in several different areas. It was quiet, and people were having casual conversations. A nice coffee shop atmosphere. Definitely a place that I would stop back at again.

Food: They have an extensive offering of coffees, lattes, teas, and other specialty drinks. You can also get breakfast or lunch sandwiches, soups, and salads. They didn't have a London Fog Tea Latte on the menu, but they were happy to make me one, in a mug, with whole milk, lavender, and vanilla. They took enough time to properly steep the Earl Grey tea bag and added a good amount of frothed milk. It was flavorful and at just the right temperature, 140°F. Good job! They make all their own bakery items, and everything in the case at the counter looked freshly baked. I ended up getting an amazing-looking blueberry scone. It had a great texture, with a nice glaze on top. It would have been even better if it had been warmed up. They didn't offer, and I never asked. (Next time.) It was a perfect companion to the London Fog. Service: The place was starting to get busy, but we never felt like we were being rushed through the ordering process. Both people behind the counter were genuinely friendly and helpful. After placing your order, you get an electronic buzzer that lets you know when your order is ready. The food was done before the drinks, so we ended up going down a couple of times. A single buzz when the entire order was ready would have been fine. Atmosphere: The place has either a window from the sidewalk where you can order, or you can walk inside to order. There are a few tables in the same area where you order, or you can choose from additional seating in a room down the hall, upstairs, or take it outside. Lots of options. We decided on upstairs, which was a bit quieter. They have games that you can play at your table, which we saw people taking advantage of. The place was clean, well organized, and had a nice, relaxed feel to it. Would enjoy coming back again.

The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, I asked about the baby back ribs and was told that this was one of the chef's specialties. They were okay, however, not good enough for me to recommend. (Three Stars at best). I did like the crock of French Onion Soup with a pretzel roll. Quite tasty and a winner for flavor. (four and 1/2 stars). The cheesy potatoes were dry and smothered with corn flakes. Ugh.... (Two Stars). I liked the garlic toast. The wife ordered the Philly Burger on a Gluten Free bun. She thought the bun was very good, but the burger was overcooked, a bit dry and lacked flavor. In hindsight, she said that she should have told the waiter she wanted it cooked "medium" She loved the coleslaw. Overall, The Flip Side seems like a good restaurant that does a great job serving and supporting the local community. We noticed kid's from the nearby high school drinking sodas and enjoying each other's company. Great Ambiance - Lots of light and comfortable I'm guessing that Flip Side is better for breakfast than lunch or dinner. Although not crowded on this late winter afternoon, we did notice that all the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Friendly, knew the menu well, had good timing on refilling our ice teas and responded to our requests quickly. We ordered a lunch, chicken broccoli alfredo, which came with soup (homemade cream of mushroom), and a hungry man's breakfast. Both were delicious and generous portions. The whole restaurant was clean, with updated booths and tables. There was also a cute bar as you walked in, and we saw that they serve Bloody Mary's, mimosas, and mules (also have flights). Wish this place was closer to us so we could go back to try other menu items and it is in the return to list.

Plenty of parking in the dedicated lot outside! Now, for a cafe named GoodDay, the interior is a bit of a drab...gray walls, monochromatic artwork, and corrugated steel accents allude to Farmhouse chic, but miss the mark. I'd love to see them liven up the space a bit! Service was overwhelmed during our visit, which I never fault the servers themselves, but do think the business could have staffed better on a Saturday brunch rush. It took a long time to receive water and get our orders placed, while the food came out quite quickly once we did order. The food itself was great! The skillet ACTUALLY came served in a skillet, which is a must for me! Sizeable portion of steak, veggies, and cheese atop chopped red potatoes! I'd absolutely order again!

Service: It took almost 20 minutes to get my drink, even though there were not that many people there. After waiting about 15 minutes and seeing other customers receive their drinks, I asked the barista about my order. They did not seem to appreciate the question and responded that "the drinks are being made in the order they are taken." However, I had noticed at least one party that ordered after me receiving their drinks first. The barista then seemed to casually get around to making my drink. The interaction came across as somewhat passive-aggressive, which was disappointing. It's not an experience I would want others to have. Atmosphere: The café is interesting, with a couple of different rooms and plenty of space for groups. There were only a few other people there during our visit. Like the rest of the church, gift shop, and grounds, the café has a somewhat dated feel. Since I don't come here very often, I don't anticipate making a point to stop at the café again.
