Great service, food and prices! I was recommended to this place by a chef at another restaurant. So glad I found an affordable place to eat breakfast and lunch.

The service was great. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They even stayed open a little late for me because I got there not too long before they closed for the day. That said, it's not good when the toast is the best part of a meal. I know my expectations should have been tempered given the lower pricing of the food on the menu, but I was hoping for better than canned corned beef hash in my omelet. The cream of broccoli soup didn't have a ton of flavor either.

Fantastic. Super small town feel, friendly and down to earth staffing. It's the kind of place to get a good home cooked meal. The omelets are very big and so delicious, fresh baked bread, and the bacon isn't microwave! Real food in a restaurant is hard to find these day, but not this place! So good and so worth a stop!

Great staff, good food, very reasonable prices. I wish they didn't use canned mushrooms in the omelets though.

Food: They have a small menu, but it includes several items that would be among my first choices for breakfast or lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to find Avocado Toast. Their version was a bit more "exotic," with both pickled red onion AND pickled fennel. That was a first for me. The addition of a balsamic drizzle provided a nice balance. I got mine with a fried egg. They only offer the egg fried hard. My preference would have been a softer egg with at least a little runny yolk, but it was still very good as served. My wife got the Quinoa Bowl with chicken and guacamole. That was an amazing combination. The guacamole isn't made fresh on-site, I happened to see the package from Costco, but it was actually very good. Service: Lots of very nice people here. My understanding is that there are a few paid staff members, but the majority of the people working are volunteers. Everyone we met was genuinely friendly and helpful. Ordering was easy. After placing your order, you get a number, and they deliver the food to your table. Atmosphere: It's a nice space. There's a smaller area where you place your order, along with some small tables. An adjacent larger room has additional seating and bigger tables. Lots of windows provide plenty of natural light, and there are areas that work well for smaller groups. My understanding is that the larger space is also used for meetings and gatherings by different community groups. It's a great facility for a community that wants to nurture neighborly goodwill and social involvement. This is definitely a place I want to support. Maybe there's a future volunteer barista position for me! :)

It didn't have any balsamic dressing that it was supposed to have. I would not order again as not worth the price. The Coffee drink was good. Service was good.

Very energized vibe of contented conversing diners. My cup of beef mushroom soup exceeded expectations - flavorful consome packed to the gills with beef and mushrooms. No corners were cut there. And the peach BBQ pork sandwich on a soft pretzel bun went down very smoothly chased by an Oskar Blues Old Chub. At just $2 the brandied pickled jalapenos were a bargain. Such a cute spot near downtown West Bend for brunch, lunch or coffee!…read more I loved the inviting and warm atmosphere with lots of live plants! We stopped in on a Saturday for brunch and had a wonderful experience. You order/pay at the counter and staff brings you your food/beverages. I spilt the French toast and the crab cake Benedict with my husband and both were delicious! We had bloody Mary's, which are very vegetable forward with their own pickled veggies. There was an error on my meal and the staff were super quick to correct and offer a bakery item on the house, which was so nice and refreshing to see great hospitality without prompt. We ended up ordering dessert afterwards and WOW you must get the crème brûlée with raspberry! I've never had anything like it. SO SO good! They have a variety of seating options inside and some dining tables outside as well. Note as of this post they are not open on Sundays.
