Do NOT stay here if you have a disability. Anne was horrible to me because I had a service dog. She will say "They didn't tell me they had a service dog." Anne, I've been here before. Please review the ADA. I should have been treated as any other person. The fact that I was singled out is not only illegal, but demoralizing. If we had a dispute about the dog- fine, let's discuss it. But I kid you not, she literally followed me out to my car to be incredibly mean. I'm sorry to not recommend the Inn, because the experience could have been lovely. Anne ruined it by having no compassion. read more

My two girl friends and I stayed at Stagecoach Inn for a ladies weekend. The owners and staff were so kind and welcoming! They let us check in early and made great recommendations on things to check out during our time in town. We stayed in Room 10 and it was so cute -- so much character and the two beds and pull out couch were perfect for the three of us. It was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had plans so we didn't get to enjoy the live music on the Saturday night, but it seemed like it would be really fun and there were quite a few people there! They also seem very considerate to end early so that guests aren't disrupted by noise. A light breakfast with pastries, hard boiled eggs, cereals, and oatmeal are offered in the morning. I wasn't super hungry but it would have been tasty. Overall, the location was perfect for walking around Cedarburg and we truly enjoyed our stay! I would highly recommend for a ladies weekend or a relaxing getaway! read more

We had a lovely stay here on an impromptu getaway from Chicago. The inn just takes you back to another time. You can feel the travelers arriving from the dust-filled road to stay in their comfy room after a day bumping around in a stagecoach. The room was comfortable with firm mattress and well appointed antiques. Ann provide morning conversation over a simple continental breakfast. She was born to be an innkeeper. My boyfriend and I recently visited Cedarburg for an overnight getaway from Milwaukee. The Stagecoach Inn couldn't have been more perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Ann, one of the owners, and our room was fantastic - #9 tucked away on the very top floor with a comfortable queen bed (a twin as well for another guest if needed) and a great jacuzzi tub. The room was spacious, and we enjoyed playing games on the rug. The bar downstairs is a great addition. We spoke with Bill, the other owner, who added the bar himself, and then played some live music in the evening as well! The building has a lot of history and character, I can only imagine how it was a hundred years ago as a stagecoach stop. We really enjoyed the drinks and live music, and happily couldn't hear a thing from our room on the top floor. There are 2 narrow/steep flights of stairs to get to the top, so if you have a large bag or don't do well with stairs, you may want to stay on the middle level. We did not have breakfast during our stay, but I am sure it would have been up to par with the rest of the experience. It was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend to anyone! read more

Stayed here for two nights this September for a girls weekend with my mom. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about the owners. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need during your stay. Cederburg is a great place to spend the weekend with family or a gaggle of girls and I can't recommend this place enough. Room #3 was cozy and very well decorated to make you feel like you are staying in a stagecoach inn, but more modern. We are not big eaters so the breakfast was perfect for us and every morning they had a nice selection of items plus one hot item. Lover this place and will stay again, next time we are in Cederburg. read more

The owners created a new patio / live music area in back at it is so wonderful. All recommended COVID safety precautions were being taken, service was attention, beer was cold, music was great. They didn't have food - but did mention working on providing options in the upcoming weekends - food trucks, etc. They DO allow food deliveries (or at least at the time of our visit they did), so we ordered Sals pizza and enjoyed our time on their patio. Great addition to Cedarburg. Tip: get your spot early for the live music and have some drinks while you wait for it to start. It fills up fast, but there isn't a bad seat in the house. read more

Unfortunately, during our stay, the bar was closed due to concerns over the coronavirus, but that didn't stop Anne and Bill from putting together a great live music show off the back deck for three straight nights while their incredible staff served drinks to the engaged audience in a comfortable, outdoor setting. Awesome!! I stayed there randomly for work because every other hotel was booked. I'm so glad chance took me here! It was a gem of a find! First, the room is very clean, quaint and cozy. They have postcards for you and cute soaps with their logo stamped on them. It has a great, old, traditional B&B feeling. It was romantic-- sadly, I was solo. It doesn't have the feel of a hotel, but more like staying at your friend's house- its so nice and relaxing. I stayed in room #2 and really enjoyed it. Very comfortable bed. The room was a bit warm though, but it is an old building so I suppose the A/C isn't the greatest in a historic place. I did mention it to the staff and she immediatly thanked me for letting her knowand adjusted the thermostat. The town itself is cute too, although everything seems to close down around 5pm, so all I did was look at windows. The owner served breakfast and told great stories about the building, the staircase, the bar, the woodwork and even pulled out some picture books. It was great! The staff is so friendly too. I was just thrilled with my whole experience at the Inn. And the best part- they are Gay friendly! I will definitely go back here for a romantic weekend with my lady. Oh, and I heard the town is awesome at Christmas- and has some record for the number of lights put up?? or something like that. The price is very reasonable too- they have a corporate rate during the week. So I'll definitely put this place in my list of WI hotels when I travel through. Took my wife here for our wedding annaverery. We stayed in the smaller building. The room was nicely decorated yet homely enough not to feel stuffy. The wine hour was a great opportunity to meet other guest. I like that they offer root beer as well. The also have menues for local eateries so you can find a great place for dinner. They will also help in getting a table as well. Breakfast was a nice mix of options. The pastries seemed to have been homemade! The innkeepers were very frendly and seemed to take a vested intrest in thier guest. I loved that the innkeepers sought to make our annaverery special just based on our booking info. read more

We enjoyed our stay here very much and thought it was a pretty good value. The owners saved this historic building from demolition back in the early 1980's, and they have a great photo album to document their hard work. Service was friendly, the room was clean and adequate size, and the bed was comfortable. Also, the WIFI signal was good. Cedarburg is a nice small town with lots of restored historic buildings and antique shops; be sure to visit the General Store Museum. The Inn is near the center of the historic district which is all walking distance. My only complaint is the breakfast is continental, though it's still quite good. read more

Be aware that the bar and live music takes away from the tranquil getaway we've grown accustomed to here. We, repeat customers, came to stay for a Mother's Day weekend getaway. We rented the main floor room next to the bar which used to be a candy store. We had no idea that the noise of the performers and bar guests were going to occupy the room as if we were in the bar itself. I think the management should have informed us prior to our stay about the noise level. Needless to say this wasn't a pleasant, tranquil stay. read more

I had no idea when I checked in at the Stagecoach in that I'd be leaving less than 24 hours later having made such great new friends. Bill and Ann are the most hospitable B&B owners I've ever encountered. They treated my husband and I like family. After giving us a special card that would give us discounts at some of the most popular destinations in Cedarburg (Amy's Apples, Stilt House), Ann showed us to our room and gave us a quick rundown of how things worked. Then she skedaddled and left us to ourselves. It was perfect. I don't like it when hosts linger a long time when all you want to do is get settled in and start your vacation. The room was perfect. It was small but not too small, two nice windows (one overlooking the main street). Nice little bathroom. Shower a bit small, but great water pressure. We peeked into some of the other rooms that had open doors and they were all adorable. I went downstairs to grab something out of my car and overheard Bill and his son playing music together in the attached pub. I eagerly asked if there would be music that night. Ann told me they didn't have anything lined up. By the time we got back from dinner, Bill had made some calls and found someone to come over and sing while he played the keyboard. How amazing is that! The music was fantastic and before long the entire pub filled up as people were lured in from the street. (See my review of their pub, Five20 Social, for more details). They close down the pub at 10 PM so guests can get some shut eye. The next morning Ann had laid out a wonderful continental breakfast. I normally prefer a full hot breakfast as it is my favorite meal of the day, but this continental was a pleasant surprise. Freshly made scones, bread and other pastries were all delicious! Ann and Bill were both present to serve us coffee and make sure we had everything we needed. Ann put out yogurt, fresh fruit, granola and other parfait fixings on each table as guests came down. There were cereals, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs. I finished up feeling very satisfied. We had been planning to get on the road first thing in the morning to head up to Door County, but Ann and Bill invited us to stick around for the 4th of July parade and we couldn't resist after our lovely evening hanging out with them and their wonderful friends the previous night. They had blocked off a section of chairs right in front of the Inn for guests and we were treated like VIP the remainder of our stay. They truly are the most charming people. We had tears in our eyes as we said our goodbyes and got on the road knowing the remainder of our journey would have a very tough time competing with our Cedarburg stay. While we enjoyed the rest of our vacation in Door County, nothing topped our experience in Cedarburg at the Stagecoach Inn. We will most definitely be staying here every time we return to the area! read more

I've got to say my wife and I were really pleased. We come thru Cedarburg often but always stay in Port Washington because we have business there. My wife was delighted with the room and the service. Another comment by someone in their review was about the breakfast being only "continental". Please! It was fabulous. We were so full we couldn't eat another bite. But sure wanted to. My wife was given recipes on our favorites. We were doted on and served so graciously. We stay at b and b often and this is a well run hotel. We hope to stay often. Last summer my wife and I stopped in and looked at some of the rooms here. My wife loved room 8. The inn keeper said it books fast so make sure we book it well in advance. So I did 3 months in advance ,. Yesterday we were all packed and ready to get on the road and called to confirm one last time. We were told another couple wanted that room for the whole weekend so they moved us downstairs. We asked why after we had already booked and received our confirmation months and months ago would she give our room away . I was told she didnt need to explain it to me and they have the right to do what is best for the inn. I was livid . We had this trip planned to the smallest detail. If you have a special occasion do not book here if they can make more money off someone else you won't matter. read more

My husband and I stayed here recently and had a great time. The room was cozy and very comfortable (room 2, the bed was like laying in a giant pillow). The location was right in the middle of everything and just a short walk to some other great spots in town. The pub on the first floor is very nice and the service is prompt and friendly (great drink specials and ambiance). The owners are lovely and attentive. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they gave us a very generous gift and a sweet note. My husband and I have already decided to come here every year from now on to celebrate. Cedarburg is a charming town, and I've stayed at the Inn before. Unfortunately, my last visit will truly be my last stay with them. My room was freezing in March of '10. I mentioned it the next morning, and in a series of emails. Nothing was ever done to make amends. The last email stated that there was a space heater in the room, and suggested that I must have been "off my meds" and not alert enough to open an umbrella in the rain! I'd say that the lack of a proper breakfast is the least of their worries. No way to treat a lady! read more
