My first brewery stop on a quick marathon stop in town on Saturday. Cap was my beertender...let me tell you. She wasnt good. Not even great. She was...freaking... phenomenal!! So helpful and just kind. Catapulted to the top 10 of Fab Beertenders ive had. Rebellion is a stunning setting. On a little river(?) A little gushing "falls" when you step under the building. Then a fun, chill vibe once inside. Instead of telling me her current go-to, Cap touted the Florida Fever. Not an IPA fan i opted for a taster. Let me tell you!! Like Cap, this beer wasnt good. It was phenomenal. So approachable & well balanced!! I also tried the Potomac Porter, which was good. Rebellion has quite the setting, FAB staff & delicious beer. Make sure to pop in if in town. Cheers

Nice bar in a great location with an awesome view on the outside patio. A nice list of beers plus a root beer option that is certainly worth a try. A very accommodating bartender makes stopping by a pleasure.

Bloody mary is awesome! Includes a beer chaser!

Fantastic! Thank you Yelp fam. These Bloody Mary's rock, spicy and excellent! Oh, they include beer tasters, too. So we got to taste and that Speaker of the House IPA is great! The music is excellent classic rock, the free popcorn with multiple seasonings, the indoor and outdoor restrooms, the ample riverside seating and the lovely service, we will be back. Thank you!

They do have a patio!

I'd give the beer, customer service, pricing and experience a 5/5. Very cool & unique place to check out! Tucked up along the river, you enter this building feeling like you're underground- and then it opens up to this really cool brewery! Staff was very friends, and informative. Almost all beer is $5 a glass (finally!) and very tasty... they also did have wine/spirits for non beer drinkers! My only negative review is that the staff did not wear masks.. at all. I understand not enforcing some civilians if they don't want too, but to have the workers who are interacting with every customer & handling the beer/food not wear masks seems hostil to me. Likely won't be back until post pandemic!

Ambiance in the basement of old mill. Beer at best is an average. Small venue indoors with outdoor seating on river.

Generally like craft breweries but man, this place is a no-go. Such diluted beer - might as well have a Natty Light! Avoid

My wife loves this place. She comes here on a girl's day out. She brought me here just the two of…read moreus. The first thing you see are the large brewing tanks where they make their signature beers. Then there is a collection of various tap heads. We arrived as they opened on a Saturday, so seating wasn't a problem. I decided to order the double smash burger with fries. The burger consists of two smashed beef patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, garlic aioli, on a sciortino's brioche bun for $16.50. The order was out quickly. The burgers were cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned. The cheese was melted and ozzed down the sides. The lettuce, tomato, and red onion were fresh and added a crispness to the burger. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. I was able to sample 2 of their IPA beers to decide which one I wanted. The Punch IPA was hoppy with strong citrus notes. The Hazy IPA was not as hoppy and did not have citrus notes. The later was my personal favorite. I ended up getting a 6 pack to go. Just off 1-43, it is easy to get to and worth coming back to.

Loved the whole brewery feel and setup. We arrived and were greeted by a host who just seemed bored by the whole thing. She walked us to a table, but was not friendly and didn't say much. We looked at the menu and they were out of several beers, which left us with only one choice for an IPA. I understand they have to brew the beer, but if they're out, it would be nice if they had some other IPAs on tap. Our server greeted us and she was reasonably friendly. We ordered a burger and fries each. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my IPA and I love most IPAs. I wish there had been more choices. Our wait wasn't long. The fries were good, but our burgers were way overcooked. The garlic aioli was also not very flavorful. Our server was not the most attentive, but attentive enough. We don't require a lot. She did ask if we wanted dessert, which was great, though we declined. We got the check and a box, then we paid and left. I called less than 5 minutes later because I had forgotten my box. The host that answered the phone was not interested in helping with this issue, so I told her "you can see the booth from the host stand", and she alerted me she didn't see the box on the table, but did not offer to follow up or check with the server. It's my fault I left my box, but the host on the phone just didn't seem bothered about helping us. Atmosphere was great. Service, food, and beer all could have been better, so this wouldn't be my first choice for a return trip. As a side note, we've been to the other location a few times and had good experiences.

The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned -- light enough to enjoy every bite but hearty enough to feel like a real comfort meal. Service was great with a beverage and food line. We also ordered the original and spicy cheese curds, with a soft pretzel. Highly recommend! The homemade ranch deserves its own shoutout. It's rich, tangy, and clearly made in‑house. Easily one of the best ranch dips I've had, and it paired perfectly with the fish and fries. The French fries were golden, crunchy, and fresh -- no soggy fry in sight. Simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want next to a fish fry basket. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'd happily return to. Lakeside Brewery nails the classic Wisconsin fish fry experience.

We were seated in their lower level with a river view which was nice and they still had their pretty Christmas decor up. We started with Mimosas and a large pretzel to share. The mimosas were OK, I've had better but they were drinkable. The Pretzel was great! Their cheese dip and rootbeer mustard were both delicious and the pretzel was extra soft & hot - would recommend! Most of the table went with a soup/salad lunch combo which is a very nice, cost-effective offering. I opted for the buffalo chicken wrap w/a side salad. The side salad dressing was a house made cherry balsamic that was very tasty. The wrap was also OK, i've had better buffalo chicken wraps. I think it would be better if they'd make it crispy vs. grilled. Last but not least, my sister was celebrating her 40th birthday and they brought out a free birthday sunday which was a really sweet offering. Our server was attentive & sweet and patient wtih us as we chatted a lot and took awhile to order & lingered after eating. Overall, we will certainly go back!

We were soaked, cold, and hungry. After a fresh dry set of clothes we decided to find a place to eat. I discovered this place on Yelp. It sounded good so we decided to go. It was still raining so I found us an Uber ride and away we went. I thought this place was pretty cool because of several things. Once we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile; seating was down the stairs to a large open room with a long bar and a multitude of tables and seats; the decor was a lot of wood and it made me feel immediately comfortable. A great start! Our server was Jadye. She was very polite, friendly and helpful. She explained the specials, and the different drinks. When I inquired about an amber ale she let me try their "Main Street Amber Ale". It was a winner and so that was my chosen drink of the night. For my meal I ordered their wings - 6 Mango Habanero and 6 Thai Chili. We also split some beer battered cheese curds. Everything was delicious - with a special shout out to Wisconsin cheese curds! I had never had cheese curds before and these were spectacular!! Jayde checked on us throughout our meal and when she learned that we had ridden from Florida to Milwaukee for HD's 120th Homecoming she offered some great suggestions we might like to check out. Excellent wings, amazing cheese curds, great drinks, superb service, and comfortable surroundings made for a very enjoyable time to finish a long day. Check this place out!

They have a nice menu of appetizers and entrees. We tried the fried Brussels sprouts and the bone in wings along with a cup of creamy vegetable soup. It was dollar wing night so we got a dozen wings with the bourbon bbq and Thai chili. The sprouts were amazingly tasty with the honey garlic glaze and toasted to perfection. The wings were huge and very flavorful with just a perfect amount of sauce. The soup was delicious too! The bar has several tables and seemed very spacious and also has a back room eating area. The brewery is housed inside an old bank so they have an old vault room with relics that you can walk into and check out.
