Old-fashioned on tap what a great idea

Everything is at this place is amazing Logan and Tom greatest people to talk to ever they have old-fashioned on tap. They're amazing. Highly recommend this place.

My favorite part of this brewery was they had a baby changing station in the women's and men's room! Brewery was great! Good beer and they allow dogs inside! They had a ton of snack options as well like pretzels and cookies. Great atmosphere!

My flight from left to right. Mojito gose, elderberry gose, Czech pils, vain pale ale.

This was a 2.5 experience but I can't justify giving 3 stars. I had a flight and of the 4 I tried I only enjoyed 1. The elderberry gose was absolutely perfect, but nothing else was better than decent. The atmosphere is nice and friendly but they have no real food options, just pre packed snacks. If you have a dog, they can join you inside and the dog theme is fun but the brews should be better, especially in Wisconsin.

I honestly cannot find a better brewery that is dog friendly than black husky in Milwaukee. Everytime I have been there, I've had the best time meeting the best people/staff and pupsters, all in one room while drinking the freshest and flavorful beer. They have a great selection on tap, I personally love the Dogfather and the Triple. Very rich taste and good smooth drink. They have a very good patio area with firepits which are a great hangout place even in winters. If you get hungry, Nessun Dorma delivers yummy sammies and salads to pair with the brews. They also have a ton of dog friendly treats and accessories. Don't forget to pick up a bag of treats for the four legged love of your life when you're here. My friends and I love Black Husky Brewing for their ambience, dog friendly atmosphere, yummy brews and the friendships we have developed with the brewery over the years.

Black Husky Brewing is a must visit. The street parking situation isn't easy, but it's worth it. It has a really cute "small log cabin" vibe, the service is wonderful, dogs are welcome (I've never visited without multiple cute puppers visiting), there's a nice outdoor patio area, and most importantly - they have good beer. They have a wide variety of beers whether you like sours, a well rounded stout, a classic pilsner, an IPA, or even a seltzer, and more (including the ability to do a flight if you're like me and want to enjoy more than one.) Unsure? No problem, the bartenders will chat with you or give you samples to make sure you really enjoy what you order.

We had a really fun time here. We showed up early in the afternoon, and we were surprised at how busy it was. It was a gorgeous day, so we headed on out to the patio to enjoy the sunshine. While outside there was a fitness class going on. It was somewhat like cross fit. They were being assigned various tasks and had to do them. This woman lifted this huge boulder. It took her 5 attempts, and when she finally got it the whole place cheered for her. It was fun to watch. We talked to a lot of locals while we were there. There are a bunch of fire pits for in the evenings. We both love dogs more than humans so the theme of the brewery was fitting :). The beer was cold and the service was great. Definitely recommend.

Updating my review because it's been years and now Black Husky is our go to spot, whenever the season. Tim and the whole crew is the best, and provide such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you can't wait to go back. My dog Tootsie always has a grand time there (mostly cause she knows she'll get treats). I also appreciate that they updated their infrastructure to make customers safer with the pandemic, and free beers with vaccination? I'm there. We usually go every couple of weeks, my personal favorite is the dogfather. But you'll be feeling more than a buzz if you have more than 2 I also love the elderberry gose if you like sours. And PLEASE bring back the deck dog, it's one of my favorite beers, ever! Regardless, if you haven't been to Black Husky, you're missing out on the brews and cute dogs.

A flight, a pint of the altbier, and our own husky mix.

A fun brewery that's not only dog-friendly, but dog-friendly indoors! Lots of comfy seating and space for you and your dog. They have a great assortment of beers (including a flight of 4!), snacks for the humans and dog treats for the pups. There's a fun patio that would be great for a summer night.

Yelp reminded me to "finish draft", don't mind if I do! Beer, draft, ha. Black Husky Brewing is a comfortable friendly place to enjoy beer in Riverwest. Their beer is good, get a full pour or a flight, and you can enjoy them at the bar, on a comfy couch playing board games, out on their big patio with a bonfire, or petting the nice dogs that people bring with them. Black Husky is dog-friendly, and that's super cool. Of their beers that I love: OIHF - Milk Stout Dogfather - Pale Ale Sproose 2 IPA Jodlerkonig- Marzen (translation, "Jodeling King", when their son won the jodeling contest at Milwaukee's German Fest) I've really not stopped in here enough, but I'm looking forward to many hoppy returns!

My only complaint is that I can't get Black Husky up in Green Bay. This beer was SO GOOD. Loved that they're dog-friendly also. We don't have a dog, to be clear. I just liked looking at all the dogs.

Again wish yelp had 1/2 stars! 4.5 for me but maybe it will be a five in the future so I can always edit this later. Several solid beers on tap. I went imperial stout (especially after 10 days of pils beers). Wifey went IPA (her go to). Both were great. Beautiful sunny day so we were finally able to sit outside and enjoy beers n popcorn. Yay spring. Also very dog friendly (duh its i name). Tip: they are part of the sipped promotion. $30 for $150 worth of bogo flights/pints. Making checking out all the mke micros much cheaper!

Nice brewery in the middle of town with lots of dogs!! Really, my favorite part was all of the dogs around. The beers were also good. They have more of a focus on IPAs, which I'm not a big fan of super hoppy beers, so not really my taste, but still good. We also had the house-made grapefruit soda. Great option for those who want to come out and not drink. It wasn't overly sweet and maintained the tartness of the grapefruit which I appreciated.

There was a polka band and they guys walked around singing to all the tables before their set started. Super cool. They have a small kitchen. I was disappointed to learn that they don't make their special flavored cheese curds on Fridays, but the regular ones were just fine and enough for our table to share. There's a little deck in the back that overlooks the Milwaukee River that we were able to enjoy on a beautiful, unseasonably warm day. Overall a nice time here. One kind of weird thing that happened here, which I only mention because it didn't seem like our tour guide was able to handle it in the moment, and they definitely need a system in place to handle guests that are making the rest of the group uncomfortable. There was a guy who kept turning around and staring at people, fidgeting in a way that I recognized as agitation, and kind of pacing. All the parents who had kids in the group realized there was a problem and even though we didn't know each other, kind of formed a line in front of the kids. I'm sure it was a one-off, but there has to be a way to deal with guests like that. Also a little weird that kids over the age of 12 have to pay for the tour, but each of their soda drinks took two tokens, while the adults only used one for beers.

On that Friday, we drove up from Chicago, checked into hotel, & went to the Brewers game. The next day I was trying to find out Millers brew tours (even though I don't like their beer, but it's an iconic large American brand), but they didn't do the tours anymore. I think they may have stopped them when Covid happened, never brought them back or at least at that point. I was searching online & calling around as I thought it'd be cool to do some brewing tour, and places said no. Finally, Indeed Brewing said come on down, we will give you a tour. Speaking of I is for Indeed, I was at I for an Industrial museum, well various art about people at work called Grohmann Museum, and I had dropped my friend off at the Science Museum. I called him and said I found a brew tour. We both enthusiastically went over to Indeed. The owner gave us a tour of the various. He told us to wait as he was busy, pretty busy on that Saturday afternoon, go get yourself a beer. Wow, great beer! The tour was informative. My friend got a 2nd beer. I'm a bit slower of a drinker. After his 2nd beer, he was buzzed and said I know it's going to sound crazy and that I would probably say no, but wanna go to the Brewers game again? I'd say the baseball game again was the beer talking, but he loves baseball, so I'm sure he would've said that anyway. I said Brewers were my favorite between going to White Sox on Wednesday, Cubs on Thursday, & Brewers on Friday, but I don't wanna go to baseball game for the 4th night in a row, and there was more I wanted to explore in Milwaukee. We were going to be leaving the next morning to take a side trip to Madison and then leave from O'Hare later in the afternoon. Incidentally, while I enjoyed Milwaukee on my own that night, I missed a great game as Brewers pitcher Adrian Houser threw a complete game-shutout! No way of knowing. And the night before Cardinals slaughtered Brewers 15-4. So, I went to the wrong game, but I had a lot of fun. In summary, Indeed Brewing was a great memory of the tour, great beer, nice owner, & nice crew. If I'm ever in Milwaukee again, I'd revisit Indeed.
