Four small glasses of craft beer with varying colors, from pale yellow to amber, are arranged on a rustic wooden paddle. The background features stainless steel brewing equipment, indicating an industrial-style brewery environment.

Finally checked out the new location! Pretty chill Sunday with a beer flight and the game on. Pup friendly, good vibes, great service. Everything I need in a brewery. Looking forward to coming back in Summer to enjoy the outdoor space!

Prost! - The space features a concrete floor with some discoloration and a wooden slat wall at the back, decorated with potted plants and artwork. Clothing items are hung on hangers on a wall-mounted rack, and a wooden table with black stools is positioned nearby. The ceiling has exposed pipes, ducts, and lighting fixtures, contributing to an industrial aesthetic. A potted plant is placed in the corner, and the space appears to be a retail or casual gathering area.

Rad space - inside & put! Serving up great brews too ;) The location of this brewery is very unique. It's located in a former - maybe partially still operational warehouse in the corridor between Walker's Point and Bay View. It's next to a co-op brewery and a distillery. Both a 30 second walk from Component, so you're in solid company on this corner. While food beyond $20 Charcuterie and maybe some light snacks is not available at the brewery, be sure to scan their insta before heading over. If you can sync up with when a food truck plans to stop, all the better! We arrived right after the Tots truck closed up for the day. Inside is a nice open space with the brewery equipment on full display. I loved the delicate, feminine decor touches such as the crystal chandelier, hanging plants and neon sign that reads, "Prost". It's a unique, modern vibe that's for sure. Plenty of bar space and outdoor seating. Big TVs inside, we went to catch a Bucks game and we're shocked we were able to snag bar seats for a front row seat. Now...the beer. It's solid. And beer is not my first drink of choice. You can also grab cans to go - a cab runs ya about $6 each and come in 4 packs. The blueberry and lemon sour is divine. You can sample whatever's on tap before ordering. I tried all four sours and had a full glass of two flavors. Perfection as far as a sour goes. Lots of IPAs on the the menu and everything has a fun name; most with a MIlwaukee twist. Definitely a place I would take friends when they are visiting from out of town! Service was good seemed like a lot of regulars hang here based on the casual and friendly greetings tossed around when people would come and go. The only downside if I had to point out something would be the location of the bathroom. Ooompf. It's a ways away but it's cool to be able to scope out the interior spaces and see what other offices set up shop in the bldg!

This guy and gal having an IPA taster - A woman with curly hair, wearing a black sleeveless top and sunglasses on her head, is holding a small glass of beer and feeding a dog at a bar counter. The dog is reaching into a bag on the counter. The background shows a modern indoor space with tables, chairs, and large windows, illuminated by hanging lights.

We're literally neighbors too this spot and haven't taken the leap to try until they recently opened their new beautiful location in the same building (which has more than the other breweries/kombucha/cider shops). This building is Stonegate of a distillers incubator. Component is beautiful inside, dog friendly, has a great patio and open floor plan. We've had flights and full pours of IPAs, sours, tarts and stouts. So far all so not disappoint. We will spend so much more time there throughout the the summer given the quick bike ride over. Check it out and do hit up twisted path and beer barons while there!

a drink and menu - A stemmed glass containing a pinkish-orange beverage is positioned on a wooden table in a brewery setting. The background features a dark brick wall, and a brochure from Camp North Brewing Co. is partially visible on the table, indicating the location is a brewery. The drink appears to be a craft beer or cocktail, and the setting suggests a casual, indoor environment.

Component has been a consistent favorite of mine! They have amazing range of beer selections from sour ales to unique IPAs. I love that they are dog friendly also. Definitely a most-visit for beer lovers! The brewery is also on the Reel Craft Beer Pass also which is a plus.

Sign behind bar in taproom. - A painted sign on a dark wall shows the logo of Component Brewing Co., including a stylized hop cone within a red square outline. The sign also displays the words "MKE" and "WIS." on either side of the logo, and "COMPONENT BREWING CO." below in white block letters. The wall appears to be part of an indoor space, possibly a brewery or taproom, with visible hardware and a poster on the right side.

I visited Component Brewing Company on 5/29/22. I visit craft breweries as a hobby. Before the next brewery opens, this was the last brewery on my list for Milwaukee. The brewery was closed for a period last year when I was in the area, so I was glad to return when re-opened. First, it's a nice space with good seating. They share the larger building with one other small brewery and another planned to open. I ordered a flight and found that two options on their tap list were either out or only in cans. My friendly server offered alternatives and I ended up picking 5 samples to try. All, including two sours were solid in taste profile and mouth feel. They don't fill growlers but have all their beers available in cans. I liked their Hefeweizen & left with a 4 pack. Their Wi-Fi connection was solid and with the location you have access to several free options. I really appreciated my server and his conversation about beer and regional breweries. I would recommend a visit on any crawl or to give them regular patronage.

The wife and I wanted to try this place for awhile, finally had the chance tonight. I've been to a lot of new craft breweries and I'll tell you this place nails it on beer quality. From the IPA to the Gose we were extremely impressed. Each beer had unique qualities that made it standout from others in the field. The Rose Sour Ale has just the right amount of fruit while the Brown Ale had well balanced coffee flavors. Don't pass this place up. Other breweries may have flashy decor and big patios but Component excels at what it's supposed to - Beer!

New brewery in Bay View! Soft opening...Hazy IPA, Rose's Sour, & Coffee, No Coffee (Imperial Stout). Recommend all 3! Excited to see more from these guys! Buzz at the door at the dock & they let you in! Grand opening is June 30th. Will be back :)

Pleasure to check this place out opening day - very unique spot tucked away in a converted factory! Smaller venue with beer selection and a bit hot for a humid day given the building structure. Will definitely come back here, looking forward to seeing this place grow!

    Flight of delicious beers

I attended a Yelp event for this business otherwise I wouldn't even have known it existed! If you are looking for something different, look no further. This brewery bar is located near another brewery and a distillery so it's super easy to extend the experience and try out this brewery. First you have to ring the buzzer, then follow the hops stencils on the ground up to the second floor, through a door, around the corner, and down the hall. It's reminiscent of a hidden speakeasy but even more casual and fun! Highly recommend to check it out :)

But parking is paid parking on the street, with spots hard to find. Once the parking situation is resolved, things are great. The vibes inside was awesome - very open, with lots of seating. There seems to be tons of seating options, and outdoor seating as well for when the days are warmer. And for a brewery, the most important thing? The beer, of course! And it was good. We've had their beer before and have always like them. It was great getting some more on draft. Agro pop IPA Yummy!! Panther pale ale OK, but not my fave. I wouldn't get it again. Cheese curds $14 These were delicious, but it did get salty after munching through the plate. We were limiting ourselves to just one drink, and needed more drinks or another food item to mediate our tastebuds. I'd order again with a proper meal or with more booze. Service was super nice, though not quite polished, which I don't mind at all. Points for a nice smilze!

On that Friday, we drove up from Chicago, checked into hotel, & went to the Brewers game. The next day I was trying to find out Millers brew tours (even though I don't like their beer, but it's an iconic large American brand), but they didn't do the tours anymore. I think they may have stopped them when Covid happened, never brought them back or at least at that point. I was searching online & calling around as I thought it'd be cool to do some brewing tour, and places said no. Finally, Indeed Brewing said come on down, we will give you a tour. Speaking of I is for Indeed, I was at I for an Industrial museum, well various art about people at work called Grohmann Museum, and I had dropped my friend off at the Science Museum. I called him and said I found a brew tour. We both enthusiastically went over to Indeed. The owner gave us a tour of the various. He told us to wait as he was busy, pretty busy on that Saturday afternoon, go get yourself a beer. Wow, great beer! The tour was informative. My friend got a 2nd beer. I'm a bit slower of a drinker. After his 2nd beer, he was buzzed and said I know it's going to sound crazy and that I would probably say no, but wanna go to the Brewers game again? I'd say the baseball game again was the beer talking, but he loves baseball, so I'm sure he would've said that anyway. I said Brewers were my favorite between going to White Sox on Wednesday, Cubs on Thursday, & Brewers on Friday, but I don't wanna go to baseball game for the 4th night in a row, and there was more I wanted to explore in Milwaukee. We were going to be leaving the next morning to take a side trip to Madison and then leave from O'Hare later in the afternoon. Incidentally, while I enjoyed Milwaukee on my own that night, I missed a great game as Brewers pitcher Adrian Houser threw a complete game-shutout! No way of knowing. And the night before Cardinals slaughtered Brewers 15-4. So, I went to the wrong game, but I had a lot of fun. In summary, Indeed Brewing was a great memory of the tour, great beer, nice owner, & nice crew. If I'm ever in Milwaukee again, I'd revisit Indeed.

As I'm not a beer drinker I can't give opinion on their beer, however my partner loves their variety of ales and the different and unique flavor options. She really enjoyed the Coconut Macaroon cream ale! For me, I tried the strawberry margarita seltzer which is their only alcoholic seltzer option - I wish they had more! However they supply a grand variety of THC seltzer flavors which is unique to other brewery's in the area! The bartenders are always super swift, and check out is easy with the service area of the bar. Dogs are also welcome!
