Finally discovered this spot on a pub pass crawl. Great beer, super chill staff, and dog friendly! Can't wait to make our way back once it's warmer and those garage doors are open!

Taproom and fight.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately one beer I wanted to try was in cans only (a wit) but otherwise the young man tending the tap was knowledgeable and friendly

We had a spectacular Friday evening at LB…read more I had a feeling this place was special when I was researching places to go to during our trip to Milwaukee. I was completely sold when I found out they had a vegan version of the fish fry. It worked perfectly for our Thursday to Saturday trip to MKE. I reserved a table for 6pm. We were seated at a high top with a little "reserved" card so we felt important. Our server was so nice and friendly. She came over before we were even ready to order. It didn't take long for us to figure it out because there were a few obvious choices: CHEESE CURDS and what we came for, the fucking fish fry. I ordered the plant based one, GF the walleye. I was going to get one of their beers but the root beer old fashioned caught my attention immediately. Old fashioneds are typically too adult-tasting for me but I thought I might be able to handle it. It was. DELICIOUS. What a great twist on an old fashioned. There must have been a hole in the bottom of my glass because that shit was gone before I knew it. The cheese curds were, hands down, the best cheese curds I have ever had in my life and possibly one of the best things I have ever consumed period. Holy shit. Would it be inappropriate to have 2 orders? The plant based fish fry was also impressive considering that it wasn't fish. I loved it and I loved being able to participate in something like that. GF's fish fry was "really good". There was also a polka band which was fucking adorable. Supposedly they have done it every Friday for 25 years and that is just too precious. It seems like a must do while in Milwaukee.

This was such a great place!!! They had a HUGE indoor area and also a pretty big outdoor space. It had a strong orange flavor and was so smooth and refreshing. I also loved their cheese curds!!! Highly recommended.

Both were fab. No clue what my boyfriend had but he seemed happy. The child had 2 local root beers and he loved them. We planned to stop in for one quick drink bc we were waiting for the trolley and it wasn't scheduled to come yet. Then they said they were going to start quizzo. We aren't really quizzo people but I went up and asked if we could just do maybe the first of the 6 rounds. The cost was $1 per person - and she told me the child is free. (Jokes on her bc 11 year olds know a lot more random trivia than I do). We had so much fun that we stayed the whole time. Side note: it seemed like a lot of groups were cheating around us. But we were legit playing w no devices... hence we lost haha. Also while we played trivia they had The Breakfast Club on silently in the background - so fun!!! If I lived in the area I would come here all the time. It's a great bar selling a great product.

With the Brewers playoff game on, the place was bustling. It was a tidge calmer at the bar, where I was sitting. Patrons and staff were all cool. After perusing the tap list I asked friendly Andy if he would drink the Dunkel, MC Hammerschlagen or Louie's Demise? Andy replied: I could let you try them and then decide. Well alrighty then! I opted for the delicious Dunkel. The tap room was inviting & spacious, beertenders were wonderful & parking was pretty easy on the street. thanks Eagle Park for being such a delightful wrap up to my day of Milwaukee brewery hopping. Looking forward to my next visit when I won't have an agenda to make it around town and can make a day of it in your digs, cheers!

I was looking for a good brewery to try in the city and stumbled across Pilot Project. With a great…read moreselection of brews and delicious food, this absolutely fit the bill. It was a little industrial with a lot of seating, so this is a good spot to balance getting those fun going-out vibes with actually securing a seat. There seemed to be something for everyone on the menu, and they had a lot of collabs with other businesses. We opted for two different IPAs that were both delicious. For food, we split the cheese curds, hummus, and BBQ pork Mac and cheese. The cheese curds were extra crispy and I loved the garlic Parmesan seasoning. The chive crema served alongside was herby, creamy, and unique, giving a refreshing contrast. I enjoyed the selection of veggies with the hummus and the grilled garlic naan was delicious, though the hummus itself did taste just like the Sabra red pepper kind that you could buy in a store. However, the Mac and cheese absolutely stole the show- it was decadently cheesy with a wonderful white cheddar sauce, and the pork itself was slightly sweet and super tender. The scallions and jalapeños completed the picture perfectly. Would definitely recommend ordering this. The bartender taking our orders was also super nice and even brought a complimentary pour due to the wait for the second round, which we'd not mentioned at all. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely return next time we're in the area!
