The burger was not seasoned but salt helped with a good char broiled flavor which is the bomb for me. The cookie is always a nice touch with the sandwiches. This is a tasty cheeseburger for sure.

Very hometown bar vibe. We must've come around happy hour because we had a bit taken off the bill for our 2 beers. More exciting when you don't expect it! We took the shuttle down and it's free with a drink purchase inside. Our driver was great and you could tell that they were trying to hustle at the end of the night even though they were plagued with post game traffic. It helps that they have a few shuttles going. Okay, I was shocked .... And delighted for not only having $60 extra in my pocket, but of their customer service, high above ANY other bar I have been to in 55 years. I called in an order of fried haddock with potato pancakes and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. I also ordered an extra piece of haddock. The food was ok. The the mozzarella sticks looked homemade but the potato pancakes did not. It weirded me out that the haddock was in little pieces instead of traditional sized pieces. The breading didn't have much flavor, which was a shame given how much fish there was. When I asked for the extra piece of fish, I was told by the person that answered the phone that they didn't know the cost as they were just helping out that night. I (unfortunately) didn't press for an answer because extra pieces at other restaurants are typically close to $3 and I was ok with something in that ballpark. To my utter shock, the bill showed the extra piece (or pieces) was an outrageous $9. Never in my wildest dreams would I pay $9 for an extra piece of fish, especially when the haddock dinner itself was only $11. I should have refused the extra piece when I found out or just left without any of the food, but sadly I didn't. It also would have been nice had they waited to make the extra piece(s) until I got there and could inform me that it was $9. I absolutely would have said no thanks at that point. Note, EJ's is cash only. They do have an ATM, but I don't know what the fees are for using it.
