Stopped by but there was a 40 min wait so we ordered for delivery instead . Everything arrived HOT and was delicious . We got pizza and some apps and was surprised that it all costs way less than having a pizza delivered in chicago . Stopped in here after visiting Oktoberfest. 4 o'clock and the crowds were not stirring yet this place can get busy on a Saturday night. I had the keto friendly Sicilian bowl and a cup of their delicious beer cheese bratwurst soup. Definitely a winner, the staff was very cordial and accommodating. Of all the restaurants we dined in Lake Geneva for a long weekend getaway, this one gave us the biggest bang for our buck. We ate 4 decent sized pizzas with couple of appetizers for a family of 4 with couple of teenagers, and were able to have some leftovers for next day. What a gem in a great location! It seems many of the locals frequent as we had to wait 25 minutes for a table at 1:30 pm for lunch. It was totally worth the wait! Hostess and servers were friendly and great. Great variety of options for both drinks and food. Can't wait to go back and try more options! Glad I found this place, through Yelp and Dave Portnoy. Bree, the bartender at Fat Cats, recommended the artichoke dip. Bree said, "People come from Illinois just for the dip." I will say, the chips are fried (pizza dough I think) and they make the dip 10 times better. Chef Geno makes the dip better at home. The pizza is what I am used to and very cheesy. It could have been cooked a little bit more, but it was very tasty. Portnoy gave the pizza a 7.1. I give it a 7.7. Portnoy also thinks that frozen pizza lookin ass, tiny, New England bar pies are good. I guess it's nostalgia for him, and this is the kind of pizza that I grew up on in Kenosha and Racine. It is better than a 7.1, though. Service was friendly in a rushed way. Irritation alert-there was one waitress wearing a mask, and we get her, of course. Can we done with this now, people? Get a "work from home job" if you feel the need to wear a mask 24/7. Would I return? Absolutely. The Italian beef looked good and so did a few other menu items. Definitely worth a stop if in Lake Geneva. Avoid the tourist traps and go to a local fave. read more

This is our second time at Next Door Pub when we have visited the Lake Geneva area. This is a fantastic place to go with kids - service has always been so accommodating with our twins! The food is really good! The giant pretzel - wow, huge, soft and several great dipping sauces. I had a burger with port wine cheese and it was cooked to perfection. The service is great and attentive without being overly annoying. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are so inviting and vast. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip accompanied with flatbread. The dip was so creamy and the hint of parmesan on top just did it. The flatbread could have been an appetizer on its own. We also ordered some onion rings which were crispy and tasty. Apparently an item I order was not in stock so they texted me to call them and did not bother to answer the phone for 16 minutes. I selected another item. There's not much extra room, because there was nowhere to put our stroller or the chairs that had to be removed to accommodate high chairs. We were visiting Lake Geneva and wanted a casual place for pizza. Looked up some local places and found this gem. It was quite busy on a Monday night so we sat at the bar. We were waited on right away and the pizza came out nice and hot. The pizza was awesome ordered a 12" sausage and it was a BIG 12". It was also a great value too. The sausage was real big hunks of ground sausage and there was plenty of cheese the crust was slightly crispy and chewy. We had some leftover we took with us and had the next night for dinner. I love coming here for lunch. Dinners okay too, but I like their many choices of luncheon specials. I've had the beef cheesesteak for lunch with extra crunchy crispy onion rings. This Monday I enjoyed the chicken wings for $2 off 10 wings and I like the Korean inspired BBQ sauce. I wanted a hearty salad with no meat and the wedge salad was perfect! Their soups are also good and my husband likes the Wisconsin cheese soup. When my grandkids are here, they enjoy the pizza here, too. Restrooms recently updated and very clean tidy and amenities are touchless! Very casual atmosphere, but occasionally there will be a very loud conversation that can be very disruptive, but the person being so vocal often isn't aware of it. We visited Next Door Pub & Pizzeria with a large group while staying in Lake Geneva. We arrived right when they opened for lunch so we had no issues being seated. The atmosphere was nice and our service was good. The staff was friendly. We chose Next Door Pub & Pizzeria because it had good reviews and a large menu. They have a little bit of everything which worked well with our large group of adults, kids, and someone who eats gluten-free. They are also centrally located between downtown (where we were spending the day) and Timber Ridge Lodge (where we were staying). The prices are also reasonable. Unfortunately, between a plethora of different drinks, and dishes (including pizza and several fish fry options), no one in our group thought the food was anything great. It wasn't good or bad, but suffice it to say when we were looking for a place to eat on a different evening no one wanted to return there either. If I were back in Lake Geneva I'd probably give this place another whirl and try something else on the menu (I had a cod fish fry) but at this point, I don't feel like it lived up to the hype/reviews. read more
