Leftovers!! Copious amount of veggies and 4 large pieces of fish was served to me. So good

Fun neighborly type of bar to hang out. We have been here before and enjoyed it very much but we have never had their fish fry. So today we did just that. We sat at the bar and were served immediately. I had the cod which was generous and phenomenal. I opted to swap out the fries for some fresh veggies. They too were very plentiful and good! Attached is a photo of my left overs :).

We came looking for the BEST chicken tenders in the city and that's exactly what we found. This is a classic bar in Wisconsin with classic bar food. They have TVs everywhere and even asked us what game we wanted to watch to change the TV too. We were first timers, sat ourselves at a table and received very quick and great service from Jesse. He got us our drinks, kept them filled and got everything out to us very quick. We heard the chicken tenders were good here but let me tell you why. First of all, you get 4 JUICY and large tenders with your order, we got 3 sauces on the side for dipping: ranch, Serrano and Thai chili. All were exceptional. We also added on a side of waffle fries which had a wonderful seasoning on them and paired great with the ranch. This place is officially our favorite chicken tenders in the city. They are large, juicy, coated in a light beer battered breading that is crisp and tasty. Absolute would recommend!

Two weeks ago I stopped by to see the new bartender but while I was there grab some dinner. I debated between the bacon mac and cheese or the chicken pesto pasta so I ended up with the mac and cheese. When it arrived I couldn't wait to dig in. Took a couple bites was delicious and enjoyed the nice melty cheese. About half way through it it became a bit much because it was too rich in cheese. Now don't get me wrong I love cheese and bacon to match, but I could only enjoy so much of it and had to box the rest to take home. I did doctor up the leftovers and it wasn't too bad. I don't want to discourage anyone from ordering it because it is good, as I said it was a little on the rich side for me. This will not stop me from coming back and giving something else on the menu a try. I may give that pesto chicken dish a try this time but overall great atmosphere and the staff as well.

This has been a bookmark for a while now and since I was not working today I thought I would do my craft beer and a burger lunch. The place is nice with a nice bar, dining area in back, patio with roll up garage doors for nice days. Today was a nice day and the doors were open with a nice breeze blowing through. The place has 32 taps with a nice variety of domestic and craft beers and I would sample 2 of them which I liked. The menu is nice for a bar and my burger would be swapped out for the patty melt because they are less likely to be on a bar menu and I like them once in a while. My patty melt had 5 side options with onion rings being one and that's what I ordered. My patty melt looked perfect golden brown and the onion rings were the batter kind so no messy crumbs to deal with. The onion rings were good but not the best but better than frys or chips. The patty melt was very good and a perfect example of one. My patty was cooked perfect, seasoned nicely and rare. The patty was juicy to my amazement on nice caraway rye bread toasted perfectly with grilled onions and melty cheese. WOW this was a really good patty melt and it's doesn't show in the reviews except for one person. This was a great spot for some craft beer and a lunch so I would definitely go back and try more of the menu.

Stopped in on a quite Sunday afternoon and were absolutely blown away! The bartenders were super friendly and service was very quick. The beer selection was diverse and the bar set up was unexpectedly beautiful. Now, the food is some of the best bar food I've had. My husband had the Patty Melt and stated that it contends for the best he has ever had. The grilled cheese came with unexpected but welcomed cheese curds. The fries were crisp and salted to perfection. I spent too many years living on that side of town and I'm kicking myself for never going before this week. Definitely a priority stop in the future!

The place is a good kind of dive bar because it looks old with lots of wood. I would have a summer shanty and a third space for my beer options which were ok on a lazy Monday. The menu isn't large but it has all the usual suspects as far as bar food goes and I would get a burger that comes with frys. I ordered the Good A Burger rare which is bacon, jalapeños and Gouda cheese just because I have not seen that combination before. The burger looked good with lots of frys. The frys were hot cooked to order and seasoned nicely. The burger was good on a fresh toasted bun and as rare as you could get with the thin patty that was somewhat juicy. The beef had a nice grill flavor that complemented the bacon nicely but the jalapeños were can/jar and not fresh. Overall I can't complain about anything because the service was good and the food was fresh and hot on a lazy Monday afternoon.

My wife and I both ordered the turkey club sandwich, one kid got a cheeseburger and one got a grilled cheese. The kids like their meals. Yay. The problem is both my wife and I had mold on the bread for our club sandwiches. The bartender was super apologetic, said our meal was free, made a point to explain that they have more bread available downstairs, then asked if there was anything else we wanted. We both said no, assuming he meant something else while we waited for our food to be remade or a different item completely. Almost half an hour passed by and I got tired of waiting for our remade food, so I flagged the bartender down. Apparently he took us saying no as we didn't want anything at all because they never bothered to start remaking our food. Our kids were already done with theirs and were getting bored, so we just left even more frustrated and hungry than necessary. I was also super embarrassed because I talk up how good their food is and this experience makes neither of us want to stop back again. Guess I'll not be ordering the turkey club for work lunches anymore either now that it's clear they don't sell enough to turn over their supply of bread before it gets moldy.

I came here to watch a game with some friends on a snowy night. It was pretty quiet when we got there around 5 but picked up as the night went on The decor...first thing in noticed is there isn't too much sports memorabilia on the walls. People have commented on that and I'm torn..the walls do look a little bare but overall its a nice clean look that eliminates that kind of junky look sports bars some times take on. TVs..lots of them! Its easy to watch a game here and the high top tables and chairs were very comfy...bar seats looked similar. We got appetizers to share at the table..fried pickles (whole picke spears!), quesadillas, and wings. The wings came eith with both blue cheese and ranch that were very good and lots of carrots and celery. All the apps were decent but wings were my favorite. They had a happy hour special (I think $2 off most drinks?) They had a decent amount of NA drinks and I had an athletic IPA and Heineken 0. Our server was the nicest girl and she got us our food super quick and accommodated all our requests. Another great perk is the parking lot in the back! North Ave can be busy for parking alot of times Final result - im a fan! Great game watching spot in east Tosa.

I asked what time the kitchen closed--got a flat "10" from the bartender. It was almost 11, so fine. Then I asked about their Bloody Mary mix. Instead of a simple answer, he launched into some condescending monologue about how they make their own, but only for the daytime crowd--when people "actually drink Bloodies." Cool, thanks for the attitude. It was clear pretty fast that this guy had no interest in being remotely welcoming. I pivoted and ordered the Lambeau Leap Mule. Turns out they were out of melon liqueur--whatever, it happens--but instead of offering literally any substitute (ever heard of schnapps?), he just dropped the other ingredients on the bar and walked away. No comment. No effort. Then, because this trainwreck wasn't done, he got into a heated scheduling argument with his younger coworker right in front of us. Completely unprofessional and incredibly awkward. I mentioned we might leave, and he scoffed. Like we were the problem. Round Two, better than the first but still mediocre at best. I am relatively certain this was a different person but the vibes were the same, think hipstery gatekeeping bartender meets bare minimum effort. Unsure if I will try again.
