Really liked our stop here the other day before a Brewers game. The place was busy with other like- minded individuals but it was still easy enough to grab a beer from the bartender. Very hometown bar vibe. We must've come around happy hour because we had a bit taken off the bill for our 2 beers. More exciting when you don't expect it! We took the shuttle down and it's free with a drink purchase inside. Our driver was great and you could tell that they were trying to hustle at the end of the night even though they were plagued with post game traffic. It helps that they have a few shuttles going. Can't wait to come back and try the fish fry - it smelled amazing! read more

Dugout 54 is an awesome neighborhood spot in Story Hill. What I love: The vibes. Always great people in here. Love the Brewers fans, love the workers, love the music. It's always a good time The beer list--seriously, one of the best beer lists in town. They have a great variety and always have a porter or stout on tap (which are my faves). It's fun, delicious, and varied. They have the best fish fry in this area of town. Beer battered, piping hot, served with creamy coleslaw and fries--it's dreamy and delicious. I also love their blackened salmon salad. In the warmer months they have some outdoor sidewalk patio seating that is lovely. In the cooler months they have plenty of seating indoors. Good people, good food, good beer. What's not to love? Get to it. read more

Fun neighborly type of bar to hang out. We have been here before and enjoyed it very much but we have never had their fish fry. So today we did just that. We sat at the bar and were served immediately. I had the cod which was generous and phenomenal. I opted to swap out the fries for some fresh veggies. They too were very plentiful and good! Amazing bar to come to before or after a game at American Family Field. There's a ton of drinks specials and both indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate everyone. There's bartenders and servers here do their best to provide quick service and the touch tunes is always popping. Highly recommend after a game when the weather is nice! read more

I would rather drink piss than ever spend a dime at this place. Your bartender better check his lip and mouth before it's gone the way he spoke to us for"holding the door open to long to let our team in" it's called get air conditioning. Great local place to eat and watch the game! We come here often to eat before brewers game catch the shuttle and come back for the after game fun! It's great for packer games and to watch Hockey! Great bar and restaurant to catch a few drinks and quick bite of food before any other Brewers games. They also have a complementary shuttle if you buy a drink there to take you to and from the game. Staff is always very friendly and attentive - shout out to Jesse, one of my coolest bartenders in the city. Their bar food and snacks are also really tasty. We came looking for the BEST chicken tenders in the city and that's exactly what we found. This is a classic bar in Wisconsin with classic bar food. They have TVs everywhere and even asked us what game we wanted to watch to change the TV too. We were first timers, sat ourselves at a table and received very quick and great service from Jesse. He got us our drinks, kept them filled and got everything out to us very quick. We heard the chicken tenders were good here but let me tell you why. First of all, you get 4 JUICY and large tenders with your order, we got 3 sauces on the side for dipping: ranch, Serrano and Thai chili. All were exceptional. We also added on a side of waffle fries which had a wonderful seasoning on them and paired great with the ranch. This place is officially our favorite chicken tenders in the city. They are large, juicy, coated in a light beer battered breading that is crisp and tasty. Absolute would recommend! read more

Two weeks ago I stopped by to see the new bartender but while I was there grab some dinner. I debated between the bacon mac and cheese or the chicken pesto pasta so I ended up with the mac and cheese. When it arrived I couldn't wait to dig in. Took a couple bites was delicious and enjoyed the nice melty cheese. About half way through it it became a bit much because it was too rich in cheese. Now don't get me wrong I love cheese and bacon to match, but I could only enjoy so much of it and had to box the rest to take home. I did doctor up the leftovers and it wasn't too bad. I don't want to discourage anyone from ordering it because it is good, as I said it was a little on the rich side for me. This will not stop me from coming back and giving something else on the menu a try. I may give that pesto chicken dish a try this time but overall great atmosphere and the staff as well. read more

I've been here twice now. The first time we were with a group on our way to a Brewer game. We were seated in the back room as there were about 20 of us and we all ordered off the menu. Service was very good from the kitchen to the bar. And it was really sweet to walk out the door and get a private bus ride to the game. We caught a shuttle bust to get back. Easiest way we have ever traveled to a Brewer game and not sure why we did t do this years ago. The second time here was for a Lion Club meeting and the Club had ordered a tailgate menu for the members. It was $18 per person with all you can eat brats on pretzel bun, burgers with all the trimmings, baked beans and potato salad. Once again the food was very good. Looking forward to stopping in again when we go to Brewer games. read more

Very noisy place and we were there on a day where there was not a game. Food is very generic. It is reasonably priced. I was served a brandy old fashioned that was made from a mix. It was served in half sized highball glass to the tune of 7.50. It looked like drink made for a midget. I won't be back. read more

This has been a bookmark for a while now and since I was not working today I thought I would do my craft beer and a burger lunch. The place is nice with a nice bar, dining area in back, patio with roll up garage doors for nice days. Today was a nice day and the doors were open with a nice breeze blowing through. The place has 32 taps with a nice variety of domestic and craft beers and I would sample 2 of them which I liked. The menu is nice for a bar and my burger would be swapped out for the patty melt because they are less likely to be on a bar menu and I like them once in a while. My patty melt had 5 side options with onion rings being one and that's what I ordered. My patty melt looked perfect golden brown and the onion rings were the batter kind so no messy crumbs to deal with. The onion rings were good but not the best but better than frys or chips. The patty melt was very good and a perfect example of one. My patty was cooked perfect, seasoned nicely and rare. The patty was juicy to my amazement on nice caraway rye bread toasted perfectly with grilled onions and melty cheese. WOW this was a really good patty melt and it's doesn't show in the reviews except for one person. This was a great spot for some craft beer and a lunch so I would definitely go back and try more of the menu. read more

Stopped in on a quite Sunday afternoon and were absolutely blown away! The bartenders were super friendly and service was very quick. The beer selection was diverse and the bar set up was unexpectedly beautiful. Now, the food is some of the best bar food I've had. My husband had the Patty Melt and stated that it contends for the best he has ever had. The grilled cheese came with unexpected but welcomed cheese curds. The fries were crisp and salted to perfection. I spent too many years living on that side of town and I'm kicking myself for never going before this week. Had another great night after work having dinner and some cocktails after work. Dave was our bartender/server for the evening and he was amazing!!! The food was great. We started with the cheese curds which were rich and delicious served with ranch and marinara. We also got an order of the Serrano wings which were fabulous! I will definitely get those again! I got the blackened salmon salad which came highly recommended and was delicious! My coworker got the loaded Mac and cheese with chicken on top. Very disappointed with the food this time. Usually I give this restaurant five stars as it really is one of the best. But this time it was absolutely awful. I spent about $30 for my choices and it wasn't worth it at all. I honestly took one bite from each item and the rest went in the trash. I didn't want to waste the food as the money I paid for it was a lot BUT there was no way I was going to eat it. I love this restaurant but will take a break from it for awhile and hope that my recent experience was a one off and they will once again rise to their five star status read more

I have had their food twice now and visited once in a weekend with my wife. Every visit has been great! The two food visits were for lunch. Seeing as my job doesn't allow me to enter establishments that serve alcohol Dugout 54 has more than graciously brought my food out to me. I park in my work truck outside and they come to me, I appreciate it so much! Their burgers are great! They have a great variety but I most love the "Everything In The Garden" burger.
