It had been years since we last stepped foot in Kelly's Bleachers on Bluemound, and it was nice to see how much it's been updated and renovated. The space feels refreshed while still keeping that classic sports bar vibe. We were invited to a birthday party that happened to fall on the same night as a Packers playoff game, so the place was absolutely packed. Parking was scarce, and we ended up parking several blocks away. That said, the setup for the party was great--we had our own area with plenty of TVs to watch the game and reserved tables facing the front of the bar. Pizza was served for the party (we didn't try it), but it looked good--cheesy with a thin crust. We ordered a patty melt and a cheese curd burger, and both were excellent and very large portions. Service was good, especially considering how extremely busy it was. I'd definitely come back on a calmer day or night to try more of the food. Overall, it has a cool sports ambiance with solid food and is a fun spot for game day--just be prepared for crowds during big events. read more

Kelly's Bleachers is a great spot before and after Brewers games! The shuttle is quick and easy, although because it is so popular, there are times you need to wait awhile when leaving the game. I wasn't able to make it to Brewers opening day this year, but I stopped into the bar shortly after the game had ended to join in on the fun. I just wrote a review from the Chicago portion of my trip. In honor of the BEST team in baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers, I wanted to give a shoutout to Kelly's Bleachers. Like yesterday's Chicago review, today is the exact 4-year anniversary of going to Kelly's Bleachers on Friday, September 3, 2021. The bar/restaurant offers free shuttle rides to/from American Family First field. Of course, you should buy a Brew and/or food there. I had a delicious beer before the game. Took the shuttle, had a mediocre burger at the game with another beer (also delicious) at the game, then came back to Kelly's to enjoy cheese curds. Ended up a Kelly's Bleachers for NYE after the original place we were supposed to go to ended up at capacity! I called ahead to make sure we'd be set to get in no worries! The bar is much larger than you would think! They had cute hats, noise makers etc for guests (at no cost) for the holiday. The space feels almost like two separate bars since the one side has a larger bar and different tunes along with some gambling screen games. The side we stayed on had the DJ a smaller bar lots of seating and then on our way out we realized there was also a bunch of beer pong tables. We had a lot of fun (stayed out longer than we normally would) also not gonna lie it's nice that this is closer to home and not in a random middle of nowhere space/and or in the main downtown. Bob had the grilled chicken sandwich n fries I had the 1/3 lb bleacher burger Food came in a timely manner and hot. My burger was juicy and tasty the bun held up to the burger well . Kelly's Bleachers is one of my favorite sports bars. They have a lot of TVs and much room to sit. You may have to get there early for some Packers games. They also have a shuttle for Brewers game since it's located so close to the stadium. I think they have pretty good bar food. The loaded tater tots are a favorite, and I also really enjoy the Western Burger. The French fries are a star. Service is usually pretty good, too. This is straight up a Brewers bar for those who want to watch the game or kill time before catching the shuttle to the ballpark. There's lots of space here and plenty of seats. Food is typical bar food which always tastes like a 5-star meal after guzzling some brews. Of course the main reason you're here is for drinking since it is a sports bar after all! They offer a free shuttle to the ballpark on game days since you don't wanna drink & drive. Very responsible and noble of them. I'm at the Brewers game after a troubling ending to my experience with a Kelly's employee boarding the shuttle buses to the game. My wife and I came out of the restaurant and stood in line to board the shuttle. Out of all the people waiting, he denied my access to the shuttle claiming he saw me come down the street and get in line. He was loud, smelled of alcohol and had a reddish beard, a cap and was a white male. So why me? Because I'm an attorney and former judge? No, it's because I'm Mexican. He made up a story and ordered me to buy something at Kelly's and spend some money. I spoke up and told him he was dead wrong. He ordered me to walk to the game. The experience was humiliating. My wife offered to show him our receipt. He didn't want to look at it. I expected an apology. Nothing came other than his stating you've made mistakes in your life too, haven't you? I'm over 6ft and pushing 300lbs. Not many doppelgängers in my world. Kelly's can do better. I've been a regular at Kelly's since 2011 and used the shuttle on so many occasions. sad that this gentleman is part of the Make America great movement I was born here and since I eat at Kelly's I don't eat dog or cat either. I've been going to Kelly's Bleachers for years, have hosted parties there and just go to eat with friends and family. The food is always so delicious and is what keeps us going back ! A group of us went last night after an event unaware that the kitchen closed at 9pm,it was about 8:45 when we got there. I understand that can upset some workers ,last minute customers, but we really didn't know the hours! The bartender and server were beyond rude ! The female bartender should have some more training in customer service because her tone and attitude didn't represent the business well ,at all! Our male server calmed down slightly but that's not saying much! The food of course in spite of being last minute customers, was very good. The kitchen staff is very consistent. Very unfortunate visit, hopefully they both can get a refresher on front of the house attitude towards customers. read more

We had a great lunch at Kelly's on Memorial Day. I brought my one year old and knew it might not be a place suited for kids, but our server Taylor was very kind and accommodating. As it turned out, Kelly's does have a high chair available! Taylor also brought over some magna-tiles, crayons and a kids' placemat for my son to use. She also offered a kids' water cup. When lunch came, we adults enjoyed our burgers and a chicken quesadilla. And a round of ice cold Third Space Happy Place on draught, of course! Kelly's has become our after work go to dinner and drinks place. The staff is always phenomenal! We have the best service and the food is absolutely delicious. Everyone must try Freddy's secret sauce. I get it on everything! I'll order it on the wings I'll get it on my grilled chicken breast it is one of the best tasting sauces ever! It's such a large space that there's more than enough room to spread out and enjoy your dinner! They keep the restaurant incredibly clean and well-maintained! Food was meh, I got the Cajun chicken wrap and tasted more ranch than anything remotely Cajun. My partner received the wrong order but was pleased none the less and the food was fast. Waitress was lovely and kind. The atmosphere is that of a loud and crowded bar, plenty of men screaming at large TVs, so that can be fun on the right day. Not sure why it's 80 degrees inside when it's a beautiful 65 degree evening in May. The most disruptive aspect was a man who was shouting at the top of his lungs and slurring his words. Very obviously over-served. At one point when directing a young waitress running the disorganized attempt at bingo, winked at her after asking her to perform the songs, which was the final straw causing us to leave. Overall, average to below average establishment made worse by this drunk patron. Edit: I'm not certain it was the owner or manager or regular but they were directing staff as though they were exceedingly familiar with everyone. Came in for Super Bowl and had a negative experience with the service. I am far from a Karen and am always extremely appreciative of service workers, however, this service was extremely slow. Kelly's Bleachers has just the sort of welcoming, casual, chill sport bar vibe that I love. While I say, sports bar, I think the phrase Brewers Bar would be equally accurate. From the baseball bat door handle and balusters to their "Bull-Pen" burger menu--Kelly's is and has reportedly been all about America's favorite pastime since they opened in 1984. During Brewers games, they have three dedicated shuttles to transport Brewers fans to and from Miller Park. The shuttles begin 2 hours prior to the game and continue running game-goers to Miller Park through the 3rd inning. They begin running again at the 6th inning and continue picking up sports fans until 45 minutes after the last inning. The best part? The shuttles are entirely free to ride. Of course, if you'd rather not watch the game live--enjoying it in house is always an option. Kelley's has several large TVs for sports watching. As for their offerings, they offer daily food and drink specials. During our latest visit, my dining companion ordered and enjoyed their baked cod special, which consisted of seasoned, baked cod with drawn butter, rye bread, and choice of side (he chose the jambalaya). We also ordered their cheese curds (just ok). For my dinner, I had their tuna melt with fries on the side. Both were great! Their tuna melt is exactly how I love my tuna melts--that elusive combination of hot, fried bread, melted cheese while still somehow maintaining fresh, cool deliciousness in the tuna salad. I don't know how they do it--but, so good! Their tap selection is what one would expect from a sports bar. Both my dining companion and I enjoyed our Guinness. The best part? The service. Always welcoming and kind, the sort of place where I can envision myself becoming a regular patron. Get to it! read more

The have a smoking section and plenty of things to do like pool tables video games etc. I've enjoyed their mango habanero wings. The pizzas are good but they would be better with fresh mushrooms. This is a pretty good place, I gotta say. It's been around since the 1980s and it's a big sports bar and club with two rooms and big TV screens pretty much everywhere, including the men's restroom, so you can take a whiz and not miss a moment of the big game. (I've heard that it's the same in the women's room as well, so, good for them!) Food-- good bar food and the salads are a step or two up from what you might expect. I wound up here because my original place I chose was closed, phone first before you go. I'm so glad I stopped here. The place is nice and the people are friendly. They have a decent variety of tap beers on hand. They have a decent bar menu and daily specials for the food. I stopped by for lunch and a couple beers. The bar tender recommend the western burger which is a 1/3 burger, onion rings, pepper jack cheese, bacon, chipotle mayo on a toasted bun. My side was jambalaya. The food came fast and hot. The western Berger was really good and cooked perfect rare. It had a good grill flavor and was tender and juicy. The bun was light/soft and toasted perfect. The whole concept worked very well. The onion rings had whole onions and not the cheap kind because one bite pulled the whole onion with it. I did like big pickle that came with it also. I would have it again. The side of jambalaya was was so out of the box for burger/bar food and that earned them an extra star. Was it the best, no but it was pretty good and really made the meal. It had shrimp, sausage, chicken, okra and rice for the most part, see my pictures. There was enough shrimp, sausage and chicken to make it legit because I expected it to be skimpy from a bar. Over all it had good flavor and it was a welcome change, thank you. The beers were good. Thursday has an all you can drink domestic beer for $10 from 8 to 1am.
