While I've never been here to specifically watch a game, I can say it is an incredibly fun time whenever I come! The first three times I visited, it was part of a bar crawl. At the end of every bar crawl, I always say, "We should've stayed at Kelly's Bleachers!" The tables are moved to make a dance floor and boy, is it a blast! The DJ is great and the music is for both the young (early 20s) and young at heart. The place is huge- at least 2 different large rooms, not to mention the pool tables in a different section. Even though there seemed to be hundreds of people whenever I was there, it never felt too packed, thanks to the spacious rooms and high ceilings. They have great drink specials and a decent selection of Wisconsin beer. The most recent time I was here was for a group event. I tried the pizza (flatbread) and the lettuce. Nothing special, but it's the vibe of the place that will bring me back. Bartenders are always kind and the service is speedy. Nothing better than a hole in the wall bar with great food! Our table ordered the grilled cheese with brisket and bacon and a side of the garlic fries. We asked for a side of ranch, which tasted more like a tarter sauce, but it was great! The bbq sauce for dipping the sandwich was really good too. The parking situation for Brewers games is perfect at Kelly's! Pay $20 to park and get $20 credit at Kelly's and a shuttle to the game? Yes! The appetizers are NOT single-user friendly. They're huge. I went solo to a game on a Saturday and enjoyed hanging out at the bar before and after the game. If you're trying to eat healthy, this is not the place (although if that's what you expect at a place like Kelly's Bleachers, then I can't help you). I will definitely be back. read more

On St. Patrick's Day I saw this woman, who I have never met, get punched and manhandled by two bouncers at Kelly's Bleachers. They punched her, rammed her head into the door and then literally threw her onto the sidewalk with her shirt and bra ripped exposing her. A colleague and I stopped in on a school night to eat dinner before hitting the ballpark for a game. The place was pretty packed but we were able to still find seating. Turns out seating was the least of our worries, after ordering a beer we were told there was a food delay imposed, there goes dinner. We go to settle and after taking the Amex, returned to inform us that they do not take Amex. Place looks like a good hang, prices on the menu seemed reasonable, but the ability to execute beyond a pour was not there. Hate to see it on a weekend game. If you don't need food, or wish to drink your dinner, you'll be just fine. So the take aways to note - Don't take Amex, 1/2 Hour food wait imposed starting at 5 or 530 before 710 game. Great place to stop for lunch before a ball game. I had the Bleacher's Burger and fries. Much better than eating at the ball park. The bartenders at Kelly's have been consistent every time I have been there. They are friendly and efficient. I have always eaten sitting at the bar. They do have a special menu with reduced choices on game day since it can get pretty crowded in here. After lunch, you can hop on the Bleacher bus and get a free ride to the game. After the game, hop back on the bus for a ride to your car. They have a lot of game day parking and several folks in the parking lot assisting with the chaos! read more

Oh Kelly, I had such a great time at your Bleachers! What a fun place to go before and even after a baseball game at Miller Park. Even for me, a sorry ole St. Louis Cardinal fan who hadn't a clue that my team was about to get swept by the Brewers....ugh! Kelly's Bleachers is great little sports bar and grill located not far from Miller Park. It's actually quite a large bar with plenty of televisions and pool tables. I counted about 12 types of beer on draft which range in price from about $3.50 to $4.25 for a pint. My favorite was the local brew called Spotted Cow, which is a nice smooth ale. Basic grub such as burgers, sandwiches, wings and chicken strips is also offered on the menu. They also offer a free shuttle to and from Miller Park as long as you make a purchase. The two shuttles start an hour and a half before the game and run to a half hour after the game, but it's actually not a far walk if the weather is nice. After the game, this place turns into a wild drunken meat market. The tables and chairs are all pulled aside and the place is converted to a dance floor where you can enjoy all of your favorite dance-pop hits. I'd probably give this place 4 stars, but the friendly staff and people of Milwaukee makes this place 5 stars in my book! I've never met so many nice people, even wearing my home team jersey while there. Shout out to Brendan, the best bartender ever! He represents Milwaukee well and serves great drinks! read more

Told me i couldn't stand in front of the bar and make a phone call. Told me i could pay $5 to look for my friend. I wanted to leave, someone paid my entry despite my insistance that we leave for another place. Once inside, I clearly noted that the bouncers only charged men they didn't know and women they didn't think were hot. Kelly's Bleachers staff can go F themselves. Clearly the owner doesn't care. These problems are not hard to spot. Staff couldn't be less interested in what you want to drink. Even with 2 bartenders working the front bar and nobody else to serve, still took 15 minutes for drinks. (How hard is it to pour a pint?) read more

Well what can I say about this Milwaukee establishment?? I really do not know Milwaukee that well, but as part of a bachelor party we ended up here after a Brewers game. The place started off kind of quiet, but as the game came to a close it got busier and busier (we left in the 8th inning as we had a party bus to catch). So we're here and they are giving 2-1 drink specials with your Brewers ticket. And my gin and tonic was mostly gin! So I'm getting buzzed and somewhere along the lines one of the guys ordered two of every app. After gorging, my friends that are married (including myself), just park down and go to business with the strong pours. I live in Madison and rarely go out in Milwaukee, but I took a chance on Kelly's for a pre-Brewers game stop with a group of 30, and the owner (Anthony) was quick to reply to my request to have tables reserved (including a beirut table) on a Friday night. The staff did a great job keeping drinks full and getting food out quickly, and the prices were reasonable. Most of the food I saw and tried was standard bar fare, and the beer list had a few local craft options available. Kelly's has free shuttles to and from the game (tip your driver), which are much more convenient than fighting traffic on 94 and Miller Park Way for the main lot. They had a post-game 2-for-1 special on mixers as well. We had an issue with a ride that didn't show up later in the evening, and Anthony was very helpful in taking care of our group. Anyway, we had a five-star experience in terms of service with our large group, and would definitely go back on a future game day. read more

As I made another 9 and a half hour trip from Huntington WV to Milwaukee Wisconsin for the Milwaukee brewers opening day, after driving and getting checked into my hotel, I ventured to my favorite Milwaukee spot Kelly's bleachers on bluemond road.. I ordered me a spotted cow draft beer and the beer was nice and cold like everyone likes their beer, the bartender was very friendly her name is Rachel, but everyone else kept checking on me also from behind the bar, I waved at the owner in the corner, he was on the phone and hung up as soon as he got over to me, and thanked me for coming back to his restaurant, we chatted for 2 minutes..(I'm not a regular or local but his staff made me feels like a regular) I ordered a bleacher burger, it was grilled the way I like, it and the fries where nice and hot and crispy, I highly recommend Kelly's bleachers to anyone visiting Milwaukee, the shuttle drivers I had to the 2 games up their Vic and Brian are top notch...Kelly's bleachers reminds me of the show cheers! I haven't had the chance to get to Kelly's Bleachers recently, but I know the owners Patrick (for more than 30 years) and Anthony (for more than 10 years) are both top-notch people. Knowing them and knowing they care deeply about their customers, I'm betting there's a very different "other side" of the story to the incident on St. Patrick's Day. We stopped here before the Brewer game. Service and food were excellent as always. My daughter wanted a Grilled Cheese but it wasn't on the menu but our server asked the kitchen to make it. We had Cheese curds and Brewer balls for an appetizer. Yummmy! My husband had a burger and I had the tuna salad sandwich. Try the Crab Pasta Salad. BEST. EVER. I went here tonight for the Friday Fish Fry with my boyfriend. We were greeted right away by the super nice bartender. Soon after a nice man (the manager?) told the bartender to pour us up shots. Shots on the house, whatever we wanted. We ordered the beer battered mushrooms as an app and the Fish Fry Combo platter which comes with 3 pieces of fish, 3 pieces of shrimp, bread, Cole slaw and a side. I had fries and the boyfriend had the cheesy mash potatoes (topped with that crunch! ) both of our meals were $11 each! Food was Amazing! Food came out quick, we were checked on not only by our bartender, but other bartenders and the manager as well. This place has amazing food and even better customer service. Went for a Friday Fish Fry with a group of 5. Server seemed very overwhelmed even though she only had 3 tables. She rarely checked in on us and our drinks were often empty. I also asked her to bring me a glass of water & she delivered it to someone else at our table. We had to call her over when we were ready to order dinner as she was very inattentive. She was also short with us and unfriendly. Fish fry was a 2.5/5. Beer battered cod was over cooked & didn't have the best flavor. Although their food is good overall, I would not return for a fish fry. And next time... would ask for a different server if possible. disclaimer: I'm more than occasionally found in the vicinity of the back bar. Since the original, I spent a bunch of pre- and post-game evenings here and watched the evolution of the bar crowd. Needless to say, I've come around more and enjoy the crowd watching that comes along with attendance here. The food is still above-standard and the drinks are still cheap and plentiful, especially when Pat is making his rounds. I also heavily recommend the bags league on Tuesday nights. It's cheap and fun with $5 pitchers. Solid sports-watching/pre-sportsing/post-sportsing on Bluemound! I landed here on opening day during a Bluemound bar crawl knowing full well it might be over-the-top ridiculous busy. And it was, but Kelly's was on.point. with more than enough servers and bartenders. I didn't partake of the outdoor, tented opening day party behind the building, but it definitely looked fun. On St. Patrick's Day, I witnessed the bouncers manhandle a woman. The situation could've been easily defused with the proper security. This poor 50 year old woman ended up in the middle of the sidewalk topless due to security ripping her shirt off and tossing her around. After recently moving closer to Kelly's Bleachers me and my fiance decided to give it a try. We went on a saturday night and got a table, the waitress was pretty awesome, super quick service answered any and all questions we had not like the typical bar waitress. We got an order of the Mozzarella sticks (wonton wrapped) which were great. I'm glad more places are catching onto the wonton wrapping. I ordered the Western burger which was quite good, had a nice charred taste almost reminded me of a Kopps type burger. i also got a side of Jambalaya which was awesome. My fiance got the Bleacher burger and enjoyed that and the fries. Decently priced food, with great taste and service. Well worth a visit. A Milwaukee institution? It's on Bluemound. It's a big bar. They have a Brewers shuttle. You get a 2-for-1 drinks with your ticket stub after the game! The food is average. Great place to hang before and after a Brewers game. I go here whenever I'm in town to see a Brewers game. They have parking on one side of the building or you can usually find something within a block of Kelly's. When entering, there is a large rectangular bar (and outside area) to the right; to the left are tables and in the back in a huge area with more tables, games and another bar. The people are friendly and the staff is excellent. The bartenders and wait staff are quick to respond, even during a packed house (e.g., before a Brewers game). There is a shuttle that will take you to and from Miller Park; get a ticket from the staff for the return trip or you'll have a long walk back. Bring back your ticket and it's 2-1 drinks after the game. The food is better than traditional pub food too! read more

I've been coming here regularly for years. They have $1 special shots and 2 for one drinks for ladies on Friday nights. There are deals every day of the week. In the summer, they provide shuttle service to Miller Park. I've received vouchers for parking there and using the shuttle service, but be aware that their parking lot costs $20 on game days and fills up quickly. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is brought out hot and fresh. I highly recommend their pizza, fish fries, and the chicken cordon bleu balls. The staff is friendly and personable. There's plenty of room for large groups and quite a few dart boards, pool tables, and other games. Kelly's is one of my favorite restaurants/bars on Milwaukee. On a mission to see all the MLB stadiums, Milwaukee was next up. I joined some Brewers FB groups to find out where to hang out before the game. I was told to find Kelly's Bleachers and I wasn't disspointed. When I first arrived I sat at the bar and ordered the Steak Sandwich which was really good. Big sandwich, and well worth the $12.00. Bartender Mandy was super nice. A little later on the place started filling up, and one of the owners (Pat) came over and welcomed us and bought a round for us. Then more people started buying us drinks. Before we knew it, we were wobbling around and had made some awesome friends. We then caught the very fun complimentary shuttle game. Kellys is a regular weekday lunch spot for me. The food is decent with a wide variety of menu items and specials. The whole reason my friends and I started coming here was because they got a mention on a local news broadcast for their exceptionally clean kitchen and perfect record for health inspections.
