I had a Thai chicken soup and the Hartford Hot sandwich, which were both really good. The kids got some kind of pizza with brisket on it that was really good, and definitely enough for the two of them to share. They have a great patio on the river, so I would definitely love to check this place out next time we're in town and there's not an event going on.

I ordered the Kegel Brau Lager, which paired perfectly with my loaded brat, "The Cream City." It's a 9" smoked Hungarian brat topped with homemade coleslaw, curry ketchup, and curry powder, and it was honestly delicious! I wasn't sure what to expect from the combination, but everything worked so well together. Definitely something I'd order again. And to mention it one more time, you really can't beat hanging out by the lake with a cold beer, good food, and friends on a nice night in Milwaukee

The location is convenient because it is a 5-minute walk from the art museum and you get the lake view. We had the Uber app platter and hofbraus. The Uber app platter came with a huge pretzel, cheese, sausage bites, bacon schmear, and fresh cheese curds. They were not kidding when they said the amount is good for 3-4 people. Everything on this platter was spot on, especially the giant pretzel! The hofbrau is a 9-inch chicken bratwurst with bacon schmear, sweet relish, and diced red onions. It's your standard German fare and worth a try.

This may not be Ireland but it damn good a small Wisconsin town in the U.S. They have a menu of about six sandwiches, a pasta, salad, garlic bread and one dessert. I don't know if this is the menu all the time or just late night. I had the Reuben and a Guinness draught, it was a solid sandwich with kettle chips and a pickle spear. The draught was a good solid pour. The service is nice and quick. The Kilkenny cream ale is also a good pour. The chocolate mascarpone cheesecake has a chocolate crumb crust, it's a nice light chocolate mouse like pie, its a bit sweet for me, but fine for a restaurant grade bulk dessert. It's a nice place, lots of room to move, good for large and small groups. I'll keep this on my short list for when I'm in the area again.

My issue is with anything that characterizes them as a "restaurant". They're not. They have an electric frying pan on the back bar and you should expect a 30 minute wait on a simple sandwich. If you go with 2 or 3 other people, don't expect your meals to arrive at the same time. This is not a restaurant. They should just give up on the food thing and become a better bar.
