Great bar! The review by Austin is a bit biased, he's easily pleased. Solid 4 stars, excellent Cleveland steamers.

We opted for a high-top and were seated right by their fireplace, which made for a perfectly cozy evening. I love that they have complimentary popcorn. So, you can help yourself to a paper boat of popcorn while sipping on a beverage. We got some popcorn and immediately ordered some bourbon old fashioned cocktails. Their old fashioned cocktails are made the Wisconsin way, so we both ordered them press and they were spot on pitch perfect. We enjoyed our cocktails, popcorn, and a couple rounds of cribbage before ordering some dinner. For dinner, I opted for their side salad with bleu cheese to start things off. The salad was crisp and fresh! My dining companion started things of with their sour cream & chive fries, which come served with ranch. The ranch was bottled (so, meh) and their fries were basic (but even basic fries are basically good). From there, we took the guidance of the Yelpers who had gone before us and opted for their bbq chicken pizza. It's your basic Wisconsin style, thin crust, party cut pizza. We enjoyed it well enough and had some to bring home to enjoy later as well. The service was prompt and friendly and their prices are reasonable. Get to it!

We were pretty late due to the fact that there were zero spots available. I definitely feel like this is a common theme in the restaurant industry; over booking reservations, over seating walk-in tables . Service wise, food came pretty fast! I ordered the Caprese pizza and it was okay! I also had a glass of wine that unfortunately was never offered to be refilled. The restrooms were clean and well kept! Overall I probably wont be coming back here in my free time, this place was way too busy for my taste.

Not one person came in 20 minutes to check on her or ask if she wanted anything to drink while she waited. When the two of us arrived, we ordered drinks right away and an appetizer as soon as the waiter came. The beer and the artichoke dip were amazing! Yum! I personally ordered the Southwest Ranch Salad. When it arrived, I knew right away that It wasn't going to be very good. It was a plain looking salad but not many other salad choices that looked good to me at the time. The salad was made with chicken thighs, which struck me as a little different from the beginning and is a cheaper meat. There was maybe six tiny little chicken thighs on the plate. The buttermilk fried breading was so over powering and when I cut into the chicken thighs, there were strings of tendons and very fatty. Multiple pieces I couldn't eat. It was not a good salad. The other two people I came with said their sandwiches were "okay, but nothing special". Sadly we are not rushing back.

The food is great... some of my favorites include the artichoke (warm) with homemade pita wedges, Mac n' Cheese, pizza (must try, ask for extra cheese), burgers are great and fish fry is a delicious treat! What I most appreciate about Rox Bar and Grille is the hospitality... I visited the bar about a week ago with a friend in the early afternoon and played slots. Somehow, as I was stacking my winning tickets I forgot to grab the actual payout ticket. When we came back for dinner a few days after, the bartender told us "we found a ticket , to redeem $60, what we did was scrolled back in our cameras and found that it was you this money belongs to. Okay, I was shocked .... And delighted for not only having $60 extra in my pocket, but of their customer service, high above ANY other bar I have been to in 55 years. Top ALL these wonderful aspects of this bar/restaurant, is the atmosphere itself... always clean, spacious, inviting with its sofa lounge area, the entertainment shows, and let's not forget, we live I WI, this bar has TVs everywhere, no matter where you sit, you'll never miss any moments of a Packer game! Kudos to the owner for having this establishment and super kudos to ALL the bartenders, as we walk in they know, exactly what I will ask for (lol) which is impressive as I go there once a week. Chet this place out!!!
