    Breakfast menu as of 10/27/2024

A couple months ago I saw a picture on social media of a breakfast burrito from Billy Ho's and knew I had to try it. For my choice of meat in the burrito I went with bacon. The burrito was very good. There was a nice balance between the bacon, egg, and cheese and I would definitely get it again. I would ask for a different side, if that's even an option, as the potatoes were super bland with no seasoning or salt to speak of. I ate what I could, but didn't finish them. Getting into Billy Ho's was an adventure. It's located in the basement of the American Legion building and there's no parking on the street out front and only a small lot in back, but you have to walk around the side of the building as there's no back entrance.

Love the Wednesday wing special of 18 wings and chips but opted for the $2 up charge for onion rings which were so good and fresh. The Wings although tasty were a little "tough" Unsure why and the reason for less stars this visit. Great friendly and efficient staff who multitask between tables and bar.

This was the new restaurant of the week and a long time bookmark so I stopped over for lunch. I couldn't find it the first time because the spot was a three flag flying American Legion post so I used google maps to take me there and I ended up at the same intersection so I parked and I looked around and, dang it's in the A /L post right on the sign in front. The place is in the basement and it's classic WI dive bar at its finest with a small bar and some hi tables. It's bar service I was told so I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary spicy and the cheesesteak sandwich with upgraded onion rings for $2 extra. The Bloody Mary was super average with absolutely no depth of flavor at all that was garnished with a couple good firm olives, 2 meat slices and a cheddar cheese cube which was decent. The cheesesteak looked pretty good and smelled amazing with lettuce, tomato and mayo which is not the norm from most places and it was fu#king delicious that way, if I can remember I'm going to ask for future cheesesteaks from other place to add lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. The grilled peppers and onions with the thin sliced beef topped with melted cheese on the fresh hoagie bun was perfect for my cheesesteak craving. On the other hand the up charge onion rings were beer battered and thin, very average bar food and I thought that the seasoned potatoes/frys that came with the sandwich would have been a better option for this sandwich. Overall I had a good lunch at a reasonable price with a cocktail/chaser sandwich and side for $20.95 that completely satisfied me, the 1st timer on my receipt was noted for the kitchen ? like what is that and don't F this order up ? I don't know.

Doesn't get any more WI than a meat raffle, a few pitchers of beer, a cheese forward pizza and loaded tots.

Hi, This is Dominic the food reviewer. On Thursday I went to Billy Hos Pub and Eatery for a special sampling of their upcoming St. Patrick's day menu. It is located on 118 Main St. Pewaukee, WI. On Wednesday March 17th, they will have a special menu. It will include a deep fried reuben from DudeFoods.com using Pabst Beer. It's called a Pabst Blue Reuben. They will have reuben quesadillas, reuben rolls, reuben pizza, and corned beef sandwiches. I got to try all of these, I thought everything was very phenomenal, delectable, and it hit the spot. Reubens are one of my favorite foods. 10% of all proceeds will be donated to Best Buddies Wisconsin which is an organization that helps special needs people make friends, help with employment, and provide Leadership development. Billy let me pick out the charity, which I thought was really cool. I want to thank Nick Chipman from dude foods for joining us at Billy Ho's. That deep fried rueben you came up with was incredible. I also want to thank Billy Ho for letting me try all the St. Patricks day food. I always have great meals at Billy Ho's and have eaten here many times. I think it's such a welcoming and fun place. Wednesday is normally their awesome wing special night, but on St Patrick's day they won't be doing the wings and will be doing this tasty rueben menu. Billy said the kitchen would be cooking this great food on St Patrick's day from noon to 10pm. https://www.facebook.com/298033997778614/posts/587122055536472/?d=n Also, I put link to my previous review here that has their regular menu too.

Fabulous food and the place is so squeaky clean. My friends Dennis and Maxie love the pizza more than the average bear.

Classic local neighborhood bar with really good wings, will probably try a burger next time as they also looked good.

I saw Brazen Head Pub post on social media that for four days only they were serving a special…read moreburger called The Garfield, which was a piece of deep fried lasagna on a burger with mozzarella, marinara, and buns toasted like garlic bread. Both my older son and I thought this sounded amazing so we stopped in on a Friday night to try it. We both got fries for our side. The burger was great as expected. Breading and deep frying the lasagna helped prevent it from being a mess and they added enough marinara to give it flavor without overpowering anything. The fries were lightly salted, but were otherwise just boring, plain potato. Apparently 6pm on a Friday is a horrible time to visit Brazen Head Pub if you want to be seated in a reasonable timeframe. My son and I stood there for at least 20 minutes watching a table that was done eating and the gentleman and his credit card in hand, ready to pay if someone would ever stop and give him his bill. While this was going on, another couple at the bar finished their food and sat there for at least 10 minutes waiting for their check. It's almost as if the employees had no desire to turnover tables even with a line at the door including and behind us. There were three people bartending/waiting tables so they had plenty of coverage given the smaller size of the place. At one point, closer to the end of our meal, one of the bartenders looked at my son and I and asked "are you guys good?" as he was literally walking away from us and I was holding up an empty soda glass to show him I'd like a refill. Oddly, he gave me a thumbs up and kept going. I don't even know what to make of that other than poor service. The music that was playing was excessively loud. If it was a live band, I'd get it, that's part of the show and I wouldn't complain. For random music on speakers to drown out all conversations unless you're yelling, that's dumb.

And let me just say, if you like a good burger this (may be) the place for you. It's located on Main Street in West Bend. This area has gone through a real renaissance. The fixed up the street and sidewalks, have angled parking, and the lighting a nice. It's a real treat to be able to walk in this area of small shops and businesses. No stripmalls or big box stores. Very nice city planning! Came with a couple of friends, around 11:30. The Brazen Head Pub is one of many bars and restaurants in this area. This pub is pretty typical layout. It's long and narrow, a little dark (lighting and wood), has a long bar, and then a few high top tables. There is one larger table towards the rear that holds 6 people. Since there were 3 of us, we grabbed a high-top and stole a chair from the next table. (we had 4 people, not sure what we would have done). There was only one person (John) running all the table and managing the bar, and a couple of people in the small kitchen. John (our server) got to us after a short wait. Got our drinks and order placed right away. We ordered some Cheese Nuggets (white cheddar curds) and 3 different burgers. You can either "build your own" or order the standard "Brazen Head Beer Cheese Burger". The curds came out almost instantly. They were hot, with a side of ranch. They were good (not great, a little too much breading for my tastes). We waited a bit for the biggers, but they ended up being worth the wait. All were made perfectly to order, hot, lots of flavor, and very good portions. The Brazen Head Burger was tall, but manageable. The different elements were distinct and complementary. The cheese sauce had a big of a tang. The fries were okay, but could have been hotter. While we were there, the place filled up. Lots of other small groups, some at the long bar. With the additional people it got to be pretty noisy, to the point that it was hard to have a conversation. It didn't help that there was a speaker, right over the tables, with loud music. With only one person running all the tables, after our food came out, it was difficult to get our servers attention. Extra napkins and getting our check was a challenge. The experience was mixed. Definitely a place to get an amazing burger, cooked perfectly to order. However, the noise and the service (due to their popularity) was a bit lacking. I wish them luck as they adjust to their new popularity.
