I've frequently attempted to order via phone and online but the employees are closing the business earlier to go home sooner. So trust me when I say that Even Odds Pizza has the BEST tasting pizza pies, not only in Grafton, but all of Ozaukee and Milwaukee Counties. It's seriously the closest thing to the apizzas from back home that I've found outside of CT. Everything, from the dough/crust, sauce, cheese and toppings, are *chef's kiss* delicious. Fresh tasting, cooked perfectly, and they're the only pizza place out here that will cut the pie into TRIANGLE SLICES (as they should be!) and not squares. My favorite Even Odds order is their rustic thin crust BBQ Chicken pizza. They load up on the toppings but you don't have to worry about it falling apart on you. That rustic thin crust is solid and holds up well. No floppy, gloppy crusts here! Their classic hand tossed pizzas are phenomenal, as well. As good as it gets on the pizza front! I don't live in this area, so I've never been to Even Odds or tried any of their food. Over the weekend however, my family ordered takeout from here, and it was perfection. I'm not much of a pizza person to be honest, but dang this stuff was good. Among the many pies ordered, I most enjoyed the Big Veg. This za was packed with broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, carrot, corn, mushroom, and artichokes. The crust was the perfect combination of dough and crunch and the cheese was a great blend. I also tried to BBQ Chicken that was ordered. It was bursting with sweet, tangy flavors. Let me tell ya, we ordered a lot of pizza and there wasn't a single piece left by the end of the night. Even Odds also does salads, desserts, wings, and garlic breads. We were craving pizza but my go to place is closed on Monday's. Unwilling to wait until tomorrow, we decided to try Even Odds in Grafton. They only have pick up and delivery, no dine in. This was fine with us as we had a show we wanted to watch. We decided to go with their XL rustic thin crust, pepperoni, corned beef, onions and pineapple. Don't judge, some people like pineapple on pizza! Something about the salty and the sweet together. The corned beef was my sons idea as he loves corned beef and it's an option for toppings. They said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Yay because we were starving! I arrived there in 17 minutes to pick it up and it was ready. I got stuck at a red light and decided I needed to sample a piece. I opened up the box and was surprised by just how thin the rustic thin crust was. It was thinner than a cracker. I grabbed one of the corner pieces and quickly scarfed it down. It was delicious! The crust was thin and crispy. Despite being so thin, it still had enough structure to support the toppings. My son snagged a bunch of pieces before I could get a pic, but I assure you it was pretty. More importantly it was tasty! The sauce was flavorful and the cheese was plentiful! I have gotten the Detroit style pizzas a few times and they're good, but they need to make room for the pepperoni rolls because holy cow I want to live on those. It's basically a garlic knot, except it's stuffed with cheese and pepperoni!!! plus it comes with marinara sauce for dredging. I don't know what the pepperoni flowers are but if they're like the knots, they're great. Even better about this place I'd say I'd the price. Extremely affordable and piled high with the goods. My wife doesn't eat cheese (I know I know) but they make pizza for her without cheese and she LOVES it! I have really enjoyed this place since it opened, but lately I have been disappointed. Last night I ordered carryout from here and estimated delivery time was 60 minutes. At 1hr 15 minurs I called and was told the pizza may not be out of the oven yet and that they were sorting through them now. The person on the phone was nice but I felt she was condescending. Anyway, when the pizza finally arrived it was barely warm. I had asked for extra cheese, but that didn't seem the case. Very disappointed. It will be awhile before I order from there again. Sauce has always been my favorite part of a pizza. As far as I'm concerned, the more sauce the better. The Detroit style pizza at Even Odds is perfect for this. I've never heard of Detroit style pizza before going to Even Odds, so on my first visit, I went with hand tossed. It was good, but if you're not getting Detroit style here, you're missing out. Detroit style is kind of like really good cheese bread with toppings and a huge blob of sauce on each rectangular slice. Normally I prefer my sauce on the spicy/tangy side. This sauce tasted a bit sweet to me but eventually it won me over. I've only ever ordered pepperoni and sausage as toppings but they tasted good every time. Make sure your group is hungry if also ordering cheese bread. It tastes amazing and you might fill up on it before you even get to your pizza.
