The place is very cozy and feels super local, pretty good atmosphere although a little small. I got the deep dish pizza here with pepperoni and sausage. My first note is that it is not a real deep dish pizza like Chicago style, the sauce is below the cheese and it's not very thick. The pizza was also super greasy to the point I had to blot it off with a napkin. I did like the amount of cheese and the undercarriage was a good level of crispy. However what I very much disliked about this place and the pizza was the actual crust sucked it tasted like cardboard and was inedible. I also would never come back because they do not have their own pizza oven they just cook it on a conveyor belt. If you want this style of deep dish go to Mequon Pizza Company. 4.4/10 Pizza

Some of my favorite pizza in the Milwaukee area! This place has a lot of character and makes amazing pizza. I've only ever gotten take out. The order is usually ready anywhere between 20-50 minutes depending on weekday vs weekend. Our go-to order is thin pepperoni pizza and deep dish veggie. All of their ingredients are so good. The pepperoni is crispy and delicious. Their crust doesn't have a ton of flavor to it but it goes well with everything else and is perfectly cooked. Pick-up is easy. They have a door to the sitdown restaurant and then a door for pick up only which is a great idea and keeps it quick and easy. Must try!

We absolutely LOVE Tomaso's in Cedarburg. They have my absolute FAVORITE pizza - perfectly crisp thin crust with the perfect proportion of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Their pizza is wonderfully flavorful and I love that the sauce is on top of the cheese. Tomaso's in Cedarburg has a pretty extensive menu. As much as I would like to try other items on their menu when their pizza is your favorite you eat the pizza. We are also partial to their garlic bread and pickle fries; they are very delicious! Tomaso's is a table seating (seat yourself), order at the bar, and pick up your food at the bar establishment. Service is quick. The restaurant is clean. Prices are reasonable. As I stated, we love it here and will continue to frequent it! I highly recommend their pizza!!

Best pizza! Can't get enough. I would love to know how they make their sauce. It makes the pizza.

Tomasos in Cedarburg has been a staple in this historic German town for decades. The pizza recipe hasn't changed, and either has the inside, but maybe a few updates. This restaurant is hands down our favorite pizza pit. They always carry good seasonal German beer on tap, give friendly service, along with delicious fresh food. A few tips, get here early as there is not a lot of seating. Also, YES, there is cheese on the pizza it is under the sauce. We get the large Italian sausage, and a large comes with a free 10 inch pizza, perfect for kids. I usually order mushrooms and as a topping, and they are fresh, not canned. When we plan activities in Cedarburg, we always make a stop here. We have never been let down.

Went here for lunch today and had a wonderful salad and pizza. Shared a great meal with a friend and the value was outstanding. A must go to when visiting this charming community in Wisconsin!

I've been hearing about this place for so many years thought I'd check it out. Interesting that it's self serve at the bar to order and pick up your own food and bring it to your table. I guess that alleviates paying servers and leaving tips? The pizza was hot and fresh but I felt the toppings were pretty skimpy. Especially for the price. We ordered ham and pineapple and I don't recall getting more than one or two pieces of pineapple and the four pieces that I consumed. (I don't know what happened to the pictures that I took)

Worst crust like cardboard. Spaghetti tastes like tin and veggies cold. Owners not good people.

Not great pizza. Very bland, chewy cheese. Smells good outside the restaurant, but cheap ingredients and below average pizza.

I've been a regular of Out & Out for years, even since a friend brought it to my attention. Not…read morebeing a Cedarburg resident it's an extra 20 minutes out of the way if I'm stopping after work or a 40 minute round trip if I'm just heading from home, but I'm happy to make the trip. Their menu consists largely of Mac & Cheese, wraps, paninis and frozen custard. Being a Wisconsinite it really resonates with me. I get the classic "original" mac and cheese every time. It's always consistently good and it's still warm after my 20 minute drive home. They use a less common noodle that is quite large and the portion is generous too. The other menu item I'm always to is the shake of the week. They always have a different one and they're always good. Oh, and I have to mention their salads. Not for me, but my mother likes them as much a salad she gets anywhere else. Another thing I appreciate is the fact they have an app. An app for a local place isn't common in my experience. This makes it easy to order in advance so you can skip the line, skip the phone call and better still earn rewards. Finally, I have to commend a few of the guys who work here. Two gentlemen in particular who both are always pleasant and personable, which alone is commendable, but they've also both been there a few years. They both seem to be managers, but I'm not sure, though I wanted to recognize them. Both are older than the general staff and both are there various weekdays.

This is a go-to for kids in the area. I'm not saying it's not for adults but everytime I'm in…read morethere it's 90% high school kids. Their mac and cheese options are fantastic. I've asked about the mac recipe, and was told it was completely secret and only the the owner knows the recipe. I'd give it 5 stars, but it is a bit on the pricey side.

First time here, on the recommendation of my niece…read more The hardest part was figuring out that we had actually arrived at the right place. Google Maps brought us to what looked like a farm driveway with corn growing on both sides. There aren't many signs, just an old wagon decorated with Christmas lights. It's almost as if they want to keep the place hidden from the traffic on Pleasant View Drive. Food: The menu focuses primarily on wood-fired pizza, with additional offerings including appetizers, sandwiches, and sausages. They also have a large selection of beers, including several brewed on-site. We ordered the Milwaukee Pizza (cheese, sausage, mushrooms, and onions), and I also got the Washington County Smashburger. To drink, I had a margarita, and she ordered the Big Buck Bock. Our food arrived quickly, and everything was amazingly good. The pizza was hot, well seasoned, and generously topped. There was so much mozzarella that the other toppings were practically swimming in it. The smashburger was also excellent. The patty was cooked through with beautifully crispy edges. The pickles were crisp with just the right amount of kick. The crinkle fries were plentiful and well cooked, although they were just a touch too salty for my taste. Service: We received great service from the moment we walked in. You can either order from your table or at the counter. Since it was our first visit, we chose the counter. A staff member greeted us right away and explained how everything worked. Even though it was near closing time, they encouraged us to place our order and then relax, letting us know they would still be around for another hour after closing. Our food was brought out promptly, several people checked on us throughout the meal, and they even proactively brought us takeout containers. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful, making for a very relaxing dining experience. Atmosphere: The restaurant is set on an old farmstead. They've done a wonderful job converting several of the buildings and outdoor spaces into a welcoming destination. There are multiple outdoor seating areas, along with a newer food hall that feels open, bright, and thoughtfully designed. It's also a very family-friendly place, with outdoor areas where kids can play while everyone else relaxes. Even the restrooms were modern, spacious, and exceptionally clean. We'll definitely be back, and next time we'll be bringing more of the family with us.

This is definitely a hidden gem that you'd never just stumble across. There is no signage at all…read moreand from the street it looks like an old barn off the road. Upon driving in there is a building for the restaurant along with nice outdoor seating, and area for kids to play! We went in mid May on a sunny but cool evening. The kids loved having the sand area and toys to play with while waiting for dinner to arrive. They have a good menu, but there seemed to be a decent amount of items unavailable especially the sausages my friends wanted to try. We ended up with the spring pizza, sassy pig, a plain cheese, and then a three combo of sausages. I thought the pizza was all good, not the best I've ever had but solid. The spring pizza was my favorite. The sassy pig was very unique but good! Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the sausages but others in my group liked them. We upgraded that to include fries and there was only a very small amount. We will definitely be back, seems like a great spot for groups!
