They serve their beverages in a mug and on a plate, which for me is always an upgrade from a paper cup. It was made perfectly with whole milk, a little lavender, and a little vanilla, with a great aroma and a nice bit of frothy foam. I would normally get one of their scones, but I was saving myself for lunch. Next time! Service: I got a friendly greeting and had some nice chatting with the person taking my order. Atmosphere: This location is a bit smaller than some of their other ones. It is set up with seating in several different areas. It was quiet, and people were having casual conversations. We were offered glasses of water in the middle of our stay, and also told to gesture to her if fellow cafe dwellers were being too loud. 100% recommend making the trip out from Milwaukee to visit this lovely gem. The two guys in the kitchen did not come out to help her at all and when delivering only two plates to tables did so at a snail's pace. The place really wasn't busy, but the staff they had struggled mightily to keep pace. This is similar to what my friend reports experiencing time and again. To give credit the counter person did apologize for the wait time to place our order and apologized again for the wait to receive our order. So the drinks (coffee and a chai) were average and the blueberry scone was on the dry side of mid. All in all, really nice atmosphere and decorations. Maybe a place to bring your own drink in, because you may not get one from them for awhile. Definitely not a good place to stop if you are in a rush to get somewhere else.

I would have loved to just walk here from where his visit was, but it was ungodly hot. The cafe was a wonderful respite from the heat, and my cold foam beverage was perfect.
