I just love the atmosphere here: very small town yet inviting. The staff are great also, very patient. Avo toast: so good! Latte: perfectly sweet, not bitter. If I'm in the area again I'll be there!

The sweetest coffee shop in Cedarburg. There are so many here, I'm going to work my way to each one! Love the atmosphere here. If you're looking for a boho vibe, this is the place. Mirrors and artwork on the walls. Rugs and cute little tables. Animal friendly. Great service and Java to boot. A lovely way to spend a little time and people watch.

my favorite coffee shop in Cedarburg. this shop has a local charm & a great menu. their standard menu is great (love the crème brûlée latte) and they're always bringing in seasonal options as well (watermelon matcha? creative & fantastic!). breakfast menu has multiple options as well, including some pastries, savory toasts & fun options like bubble waffles. we love grabbing a table and seat outside & people watching. staff and owners are always so wonderful to chat with as well.

Adorable little coffee spot! They also offer non coffee options as well. Outdoor and indoor seating. Staff was so kind.

Hidden gem in cedarburg! I feel like the other coffee shops get all the spotlight, but Java House is the place to be! I had the cup of hygge and it was delicious. I want to try everything on the menu! Also the vibe inside was great, the perfect spot to sit and read or meet a friend! They also allow dogs inside on a leash, so Winston is going to have to come back with me next time!

So cozy and inviting! Right when I walked in, I noticed rhe warm, worn wood of the floor and framing the windows. One of the baristas had just completed a beautiful matcha rose foam drink with little roses adorning the edge. This place is a delight and the drinks are charming concoctions (literally)!

Visiting Java House feels like a great big bear hug!!! I'm not sure if it's the adorable vintage building right on Washington Avenue, the caring staff or the incredible beverages - but there is a true feeling of happy all around. The woman and young girl that assisted us were so sweet. The woman was taking photos and seemed truly happy to create beautiful beverages for us and other customers. She showed such enthusiasm that was contagious. I loved being a part of what she was giving. Once we received all of our Moon Milk beverages, I couldn't wait to start sipping. They were so beautiful to look at and knowing they were made with love made them even better. Oh my! The layers of creamy flavors really satisfied. Java House is a must stop when I am in town. They have a fantastic Instagram account, showing off their unique and gorgeous beverages. I follow them on social media and you should too!

Literally my favorite cafe EVER! Absolutely NEED to try the daffodil latte iced and the flavored coffees

Upon approach it gives you a 1800's western vibe as it's along train tracks and appears to be a period correct building. Many flags hang above the front of the building as you walk in. I came to find out someone stole an American flag and Thin Blue Line flag (Law enforcement support) in the recent weeks and that was a shame to hear. There is a fenced in smaller outdoor patio on the east side of the building. As you can imagine 9 non locals walking into a bar at 1130am could be met with stares or with hellos. We received many hellos and the bar staff was prompt to take our orders. A majority of us ordered a Bloody Mary and we're all glad we did. They were amazing with a spotted cow chaser. The space was completely remodeled with a modern western feel. It did not take away from the age of the building. The large horseshoe bar was comfortable and spacious. The owner was very polite and we will surely be back!

One thing that's great about this spot is that they offer all of their drinks as 0 ABV so it makes it super easy and enjoyable for those who are not drinking to still feel catered to and can enjoy a fancy beverage - however I will note that they are as pricey as the cocktails since they use a fancy alcohol in the drinks that is zero proof! Service is super easy ordering at the counter indoors and you can peruse and look at all of the cute curated items, books & records while you wait. The outdoor seating is ample and lovely with their giant striped umbrellas and blue Adirondack chairs as well as other seating options - and fire pits for when the weather turns chilly! Set inside a historic bed and breakfast, The Five20 Social Stop is like something you'd see in a Hallmark movie set in a sweet little town. So welcoming and inviting, we were immediately comfortable. The room is small with vintage rock/stone walls. The antique bar fits the room perfectly. Warm lighting with whimsical decor, the whole vibe is reminiscent of an antique lodge. There were just a few people enjoying the live music - a duo singing classic tunes. They sounded fantastic! Given we are in the middle of a pandemic I was surprised they offered live music and relieved everyone was spaced out. It was my friend's birthday so they sang Happy Birthday along with everyone in the entire pub! I later found out that the singer was one of the owners. The woman at the table across the way was his wife and was the other owner. This husband and wife duo could not have been more gracious and hospitable. I noticed that there was an air purifier right next to our table which made me feel a little better. I wasn't sure I wanted to socialize quite as much as we were doing, but it was my friend's birthday so we kept our masks on and enjoyed a few songs before we headed out. Once the crazy virus gets under control, I would love to come back and stay at this dear little bed and breakfast situated in the heart of downtown on their main street. It would be perfect for a romantic get away, a girlfriend's weekend or a family vacation. I plan on enjoying their authentic little pub every night that I'm there. During warm weather they have a great outdoor patio in the back and offer live music out there. I am very much looking forward to returning because of the quaint atmosphere, delicious cocktails, talented entertainment and kind owners!

They have a very large selection of cheeses from Wisconsin, the US, and abroad, with lots of unique offerings. We tried a chicken soup Monterrey jack and a mustard Gouda, both of which we really enjoyed. The chicken soup cheese actually tastes like chicken broth from a rich soup, which was definitely a new experience. The room is decorated and bright, and felt like a great spot to stop on a Saturday afternoon. It's a nice change of pace from the usually-crowded bars through downtown Cedarburg. You should be aware that the tasting room apparently can't serve charcuterie boards themselves because of the class of license (maybe no food service cert.) but they're happy to help you enjoy any of the cheeses you purchased in the store and offer you some wine(s) to accompany them. The bartender graciously offered us some crackers to go with the plate and we were able to put together a satisfying little wine tasting experience! The one thing I would like to see is a few more wines on offer for the wine flights; at the time, they were a bit heavy on sweet white wines, which is just not my taste but may be popular in the area. They also have a cocktail list, beers, and their own brand of several liquors, so there are plenty of options. We will be back for a nice afternoon glass of wine and some cheese. It's also a good source of reasonably priced cheeses and wine if you want to have a picnic at the parks nearby.
