I just love the atmosphere here: very small town yet inviting. The staff are great also, very patient. Avo toast: so good! Latte: perfectly sweet, not bitter. If I'm in the area again I'll be there!

The sweetest coffee shop in Cedarburg. There are so many here, I'm going to work my way to each one! Love the atmosphere here. If you're looking for a boho vibe, this is the place. Mirrors and artwork on the walls. Rugs and cute little tables. Animal friendly. Great service and Java to boot. A lovely way to spend a little time and people watch.

my favorite coffee shop in Cedarburg. this shop has a local charm & a great menu. their standard menu is great (love the crème brûlée latte) and they're always bringing in seasonal options as well (watermelon matcha? creative & fantastic!). breakfast menu has multiple options as well, including some pastries, savory toasts & fun options like bubble waffles. we love grabbing a table and seat outside & people watching. staff and owners are always so wonderful to chat with as well.

Adorable little coffee spot! They also offer non coffee options as well. Outdoor and indoor seating. Staff was so kind.

Hidden gem in cedarburg! I feel like the other coffee shops get all the spotlight, but Java House is the place to be! I had the cup of hygge and it was delicious. I want to try everything on the menu! Also the vibe inside was great, the perfect spot to sit and read or meet a friend! They also allow dogs inside on a leash, so Winston is going to have to come back with me next time!

So cozy and inviting! Right when I walked in, I noticed rhe warm, worn wood of the floor and framing the windows. One of the baristas had just completed a beautiful matcha rose foam drink with little roses adorning the edge. This place is a delight and the drinks are charming concoctions (literally)!

Visiting Java House feels like a great big bear hug!!! I'm not sure if it's the adorable vintage building right on Washington Avenue, the caring staff or the incredible beverages - but there is a true feeling of happy all around. The woman and young girl that assisted us were so sweet. The woman was taking photos and seemed truly happy to create beautiful beverages for us and other customers. She showed such enthusiasm that was contagious. I loved being a part of what she was giving. Once we received all of our Moon Milk beverages, I couldn't wait to start sipping. They were so beautiful to look at and knowing they were made with love made them even better. Oh my! The layers of creamy flavors really satisfied. Java House is a must stop when I am in town. They have a fantastic Instagram account, showing off their unique and gorgeous beverages. I follow them on social media and you should too!

Literally my favorite cafe EVER! Absolutely NEED to try the daffodil latte iced and the flavored coffees

The high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams were great. Our group we seated upstairs and it was pretty quiet. Everyone loved what they had. We all mostly got sandwiches/burgers and the various sides were delicious. We really liked the onion rings, potato salad and seasonal veggies. Our server was patient with us when we didn't know what we'd have with both drinks and meals. The team was quick to get our orders out and whisk away used plates/silverware. Would recommend if you're in the area. It was too cold for the patio to be opened yet but we will definitely come back for that in the summer. Great views.

We loved the ambiance, and the service we received was excellent. For starters we ordered the cheese bites and the mushroom "soup of the day" For main course, she had the Short Rib Sandwich and I had the Cedarburg Cranberry Salad with blackened Salmon. For desert, the flourless chocolate cake. The Rib Sandwich and soup were good. (3.5 Stars). The Salad/Salmon were okay (3 stars), and the cake was awful. (Probably put in the microwave for two minutes and then brought to the table) It even looked ugly sitting there on the plate. My drink special was weak. All the customers seemed to be having a good time. The place was lively and it's probably worth a visit for the service and ambiance. However this is not a place to go for good/tasty food based on our experience.

The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, I asked about the baby back ribs and was told that this was one of the chef's specialties. They were okay, however, not good enough for me to recommend. (Three Stars at best). I did like the crock of French Onion Soup with a pretzel roll. Quite tasty and a winner for flavor. (four and 1/2 stars). The cheesy potatoes were dry and smothered with corn flakes. Ugh.... (Two Stars). I liked the garlic toast. The wife ordered the Philly Burger on a Gluten Free bun. She thought the bun was very good, but the burger was overcooked, a bit dry and lacked flavor. In hindsight, she said that she should have told the waiter she wanted it cooked "medium" She loved the coleslaw. Overall, The Flip Side seems like a good restaurant that does a great job serving and supporting the local community. We noticed kid's from the nearby high school drinking sodas and enjoying each other's company. Great Ambiance - Lots of light and comfortable I'm guessing that Flip Side is better for breakfast than lunch or dinner. Although not crowded on this late winter afternoon, we did notice that all the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I had the Butcher Shop skillet with only one egg, no Hollandaise sauce add salsa. Their salsa was a nice corn and bean dark roasted tomatoes salsa that was very tasty flavorful. Other items were, 2 poached eggs with turkey sausage and toast (not pictured), 2 eggs over easy with bacon, toast and hash browns. It's a big place, so you're not on top of other customers and you can easily hold a conversation at your table. All meals were simply delicious.
