The cheddar scone really made the whole thing so wonderfully flavorful. The latte for me wasn't my favorite. I was able to drink it but the espresso was bitter and it was over-steamed (way too hot and watery). The service was incredibly slow. It definitely wasn't a situation where they were overly busy and overwhelmed as there was no line. The service was just incredibly sluggish. We didn't have plans and had planned to enjoy our coffee and sandwich there, but even given that fact, the wait was excessive. So, a bit of a mixed bag. They really do a nice job with them. It had great flavor, a rich, frothy texture, and was served at nearly the perfect temperature for me, about 150°F. They also had a good selection of bakery items, and I chose a Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffin. I normally ask to have muffins warmed up, which they're always happy to do. This time they mentioned that they have a microwave available for customers to use themselves. I had never noticed it before, but I think it's a brilliant idea. You can warm up your pastry just the way you like it, or even give your hot beverage a quick reheat if it cools down. I wish more coffee shops offered something like that. We'll definitely be back!
