I understand it was busy, but 20 minutes seemed like a long time for coffee. At that point I still gave this location another chance. I went back a few months later. Unfortunately I had an even worse experience. I waited over 45 minutes for my coffee. I was with a group of 6 people, so maybe that slowed them down a bit. However, we did not have that long to wait as we were on our way to somewhere. I approached the counter to ask how much longer it would be after about 30 minutes and was met with an unpleasant and unhelpful employee. I usually do not leave 2-star reviews, but 45 minutes was ridiculous for lattes. The employees should have warned us that they were so backed up because we would have went elsewhere. I will not go back to this location.

Points for the name, borrowed from the nearby trail and surely eliciting squeals of delight from the old school train crowd! Front of the house staff were very friendly and patiently explained the different pastry options on offer--many of which looked amazing. First we went with breakfast; my brioche egg sandwich was quite good though my husband found his english muffin sandwich to be bland and unremarkable. Unfortunately, their food system needs some work. I ordered the sandwiches for dine in with my name. The kitchen staff prepares the orders, hurriedly mumbles a name on their way out of the kitchen and unless you are standing in the right spot to hear him, you don't know if that's your order or not. Making matters worse, our food was prepped to go. Staff did offer to plate it, but it seemed silly to also dirty dishes and plastic containers so we declined the offer. The pastries are really where Interurban shines! I had half of my husband's cinnamon roll three days later and it was amazing. Like Costco cinnamon roll amazing. And my roasted pineapple cheese danish was phenomenal the next day hot out of the toaster oven! The croissant breakfast sandwich was good but the bacon was cooked to nearly dust on one end for some reason. I snapped it off and ate the rest. I asked for crispy but not great hash browns. They were crispy. Check. But also greasy and worse, cold. Not even hardly warm. When she came to check, she asked how things were and I said "Eh" and was about to let her know but she left. So I had to take them home which I explained when I asked someone else for a box (told her they had been served cold but she said nothing). As a note, reheated they were very greasy and not good. The Leanne's special with waffle and eggs and bacon was good. That bacon was cooked right. We also ordered the kids' chicken tenders with fries which were good (but we were overcharged for them which required us to point that out after the check came to get it fixed). Overall, would try here again for breakfast but disappointing as I've been coming here since 2012 when they first opened and had very limited hours and prior to the multiple remodels and expansion next door.

It's important that each component be just right or it can ruin the cup though. The Nutman Company was founded in 1992 in Hubertus, WI. Not that I dislike Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (quite the opposite), but Nutman's version is easily superior and possibly the best I've ever had. After having these I could easily go without ever having Reese's again (gasp). The milk chocolate is smooth & creamy. Biting into the chocolate, it's very soft & the creamy peanut butter innards are quickly exposed. Reese's has a chunkier and more solid peanut butter core. The core of this product is more velvety & smooth. It's not in a messy liquid state, but it's not nearly as firm as Reese's and other brands either. It reminds me of peanut butter chocolates from another local WI candy maker (Quality Candy/Buddy Squirrel). Just like those other brands, Nutman's version is Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews
