I have been here several times. It's an old schoolhouse that has been lovingly restored and repurposed as a Coffee Shop. You pack in the rear, and then walk around the front to enter (it was a little counter intuitive, but I figured it out). There are several patio tables outside that are nice spots for sitting during good weather. Inside you will find small tables, or a couch in the center for a small group. Not too many people on this particular trip. The barista was by themselves, and didn't seem to be all that friendly or talkative. I ordered my favorite London Fog (early gray latte, little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam). They did a night job with this drink, and served it to me in a china mug. They have a selection of scones and muffins, but I skipped that. They have everything wrapped in plastic, which might be necessary if they aren't selling items quick enough (in my opinion, not a good sign, and good scones need to breath ) Not a bad experience. But not one that puts this on my "got to come back to" list.

Love this place, best vanilla cream cold brew I've ever had...want to try other things but it's just so good.

If you wonder if this place is open, it probably is. It has the look of a place that's closed even though it is open. Also, don't be deceived by the order window by the parking lot, head around to the other side of the building to find an entrance to a cozy coffee shop. A small selection of pastries. Small selection of non-coffee drinks. Lots of coffee choices. LOTS. The dark cold brew was delightful. Smooth, mild acidity, robust coffee notes. Clean location. Two bathrooms. Seating for maybe 15-20 people inside and another 20 outside. Traffic is a little noisy in the outside area. There is a rather busy roundabout.

This local coffee shop is inside a renovated 1800s one room schoolhouse. The original school chalkboard is still inside! They serve Stone Creek Coffee (a local roast) and offer espresso drinks, cold brew, nitro coffee, pastries, and smoothies. Coffee is very good and the space is inviting. Nice use of an old building and they have outdoor seating as well. Recommended if you are in the area and need some caffeine. P.S. It's easy to miss this place because they have no sign outside! So, just look for the stone building adjacent to the roundabout.

Super cute and great repurposed use of an old schoolhouse. It seems like there are still in the process of rebuilding so I'll have to check back on its progress. Both coffees are so delicious, I may have found my new favorite caramel drink.

Good coffee, cute location. The building is cool! But it is very small inside, not good for big groups. Easy parking.

This shop is such a gem, offering classic bakery staples, delicious macarons, and fun, bakery-themed items. I especially love their "kindness coupons"--such a thoughtful gesture for anyone who could use a little treat. I attended one of their macaron classes, and while I don't know what their kitchen looked like before, it had been fully transformed into a student-friendly workspace with stations set up for each group. After signing in, you're directed to your station and handed an apron. The spots are semi-assigned--if you booked with a friend or a small group, Kasey does a great job placing you together. Everything you need is laid out and ready to go. Kasey walks you through the whole process, checking in along the way and sharing helpful tips she's picked up throughout her macaron-making journey. You and your partner split the batter, but you each get to do your own mixing, choose your colors, and pipe your own shells, which makes it a really hands-on experience. While the macarons are baking, you're treated to sweet bites like brownies or crispy rice treats. Once the macarons have cooled, you fill, package, and--of course--sneak a few tastes along the way. The whole class is so fun, approachable, and well-paced. Afterward, you even get the chance to take home some bakery goodies at a discount! I absolutely love their bakery items, and the class was such a blast. Can't wait to go back!

Date of visit: January 26, 2024…read more Our January version of "Coffee & Kringle" brought us to Batter and Mac in the Falls. A friend had heard that they had gotten some flack from the local Republicans for being pro-LGBT and that was enough for us to go pay them a visit. Staff were wonderful and friendly, even suggesting that I get the Wicked-themed matcha latte with strawberry cold foam, something that I did not think I would necessarily like, but she pushed it hard and you know what? She was right! It was a delicious drink that I may or may not have licked the lid to ensure I got all of the cold foam... My ham and cheese croissant was quite good, though I think it would have been better had it been warmed up. And then I went back for a Scotcheroo and that was fantastic. I had intended to just have a bite that morning and finish it later but there was no way I could do that, I ended up eating the entire thing while we were visiting. Outside of the room temp croissant, the reason for four stars instead of five here is because the bakery gets VERY cold everytime the door opens, I probably should have kept my coat on the whole time we were there. I think one of those ceiling-mounted air units would help mitigate this and get me to stay a bit longer (and order more food!) in the colder months.

I tried a couple bakeries before finalizing, but I do no regret my decision in the least. Christine and her staff were extremely easy to work with and very accommodating when we had to decrease our order a month before the wedding. After an insane amount of compromising (hey, that's what marriage is all about right?) my husband and I decided on four flavors: carrot, French vanilla with Bavarian cream, Devil's food with chocolate cream, and apple spice with apple pie filling. Our guests inhaled them! Everyone raved about the carrot and apple since they were both fall-flavors for our fall wedding. Luckily we had an anniversary cake on top to cut so we were able to enjoy some a couple slices after the wedding too. The prices were extremely reasonable, which included a delivery fee and the cupcake stand rental. We've gone back a couple times to buy cupcakes they have available in their dessert case (the salted caramel is heavenly!)

I went in for about 45 min to discuss some options talk with my fiance, came back with a decision and to make a payment (yes, give them my money) and it just seemed like to much work for them to take my order. It got to the point where I didn't even want to deal with them so I asked my mother to handle all further communication. If the cake wasn't so good I would have gone somewhere else all together. I am now coming up on my one year and would love to order my anniversary cake but dread having to go in there : (

The croissant breakfast sandwich was good but the bacon was cooked to nearly dust on one end for some reason. I snapped it off and ate the rest. I asked for crispy but not great hash browns. They were crispy. Check. But also greasy and worse, cold. Not even hardly warm. When she came to check, she asked how things were and I said "Eh" and was about to let her know but she left. So I had to take them home which I explained when I asked someone else for a box (told her they had been served cold but she said nothing). As a note, reheated they were very greasy and not good. The Leanne's special with waffle and eggs and bacon was good. That bacon was cooked right. We also ordered the kids' chicken tenders with fries which were good (but we were overcharged for them which required us to point that out after the check came to get it fixed). Overall, would try here again for breakfast but disappointing as I've been coming here since 2012 when they first opened and had very limited hours and prior to the multiple remodels and expansion next door.
