've stopped in here off and on over the years. On this visit, they were celebrating their 30th anniversary. They had live entertainment, family-friendly activities including face painting and temporary tattoos, drink specials, and other festivities for the community. The place was definitely busy, and I didn't feel like waiting in line. Instead, I grabbed a cup of the complimentary coffee and enjoyed listening to the outstanding musical duo, Frog Water. Congratulations on 30 years in business, and thanks for celebrating your success with the community! read more

Our favorite coffee shop when we visit family in Menomonee Falls. We love their coffee- the taste is nutty and rich and no bitter aftertaste. Great selection of bakery items that taste delish. Not sure which local bakery they come from but really great selection. Nice outdoor seating if you have a dog. read more

I stopped at the Menomonee Falls location on a Thursday afternoon. It was my first time there and I was impressed by the beautiful building and painted murals on the outside and inside. This location has a lot of seating, friendly staff, and good coffee. Definitely a great place to stop and relax, enjoy some coffee or tea, and a light lunch or pastry. read more

A bit pricey but a super cute coffee shop with lots of seating options for studying or chatting. I got the seasonal drink - mistletoe matcha which was pistachio and matcha. It was an interesting combo that was nutty and fragrant. It did cost like $7.5 though. Staff were friendly and efficient. My drink was put together in under 2 minutes. The bathroom was spacious and clean. There were about 7 parking spaces in the lot and they fill up fast. The location was in the heart of the Falls and the streets open up to so many nearby shops and restaurants. read more

I wish I could give Fiddleheads more stars because they have a lot going for them. The service is excellent and the space is beautiful. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite measure up, and my espresso drink this time wasn't as good as on previous visits. My take is that they're doing their best with what they have, but they need more help to deliver on the menu. I came in on a Sunday, late morning, and encountered a long line. I ordered a cappuccino and two sandwiches, one a croissant breakfast sandwich and the other a turkey gouda melt. My drink took a reasonable amount of time given the volume of people, but the wait for the food was so long that I was concerned they forgot the order. I didn't time it, but I would estimate about 20 minutes for the sandwiches. The croissant sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese was quite good, but the turkey melt was a letdown. I would expect a melt to be toasted, but either some equipment was down or they only have an oven to warm up whole sandwiches. Judging from that and the wait time, they might simply not have the equipment to execute on the menu effectively. My cappuccino, which I finished before getting my food, was surprisingly acidic and sour. I've had espresso drinks here before that were very smooth, so I don't know what happened. The people here are so nice, and the beautiful old brick building has lots of great spaces inside and out. Unfortunately, my visit was a disappointment, and I might not be back. Hopefully the great team here gets some better resources to get this cafe delivering better product. read more

I am disappointed to leave a 2-star review, but my experience here was not good. I have been here twice. The first time, I waited over 20 minutes just for my coffee. I understand it was busy, but 20 minutes seemed like a long time for coffee. At that point I still gave this location another chance. I went back a few months later. Unfortunately I had an even worse experience. I waited over 45 minutes for my coffee. I was with a group of 6 people, so maybe that slowed them down a bit. However, we did not have that long to wait as we were on our way to somewhere. I approached the counter to ask how much longer it would be after about 30 minutes and was met with an unpleasant and unhelpful employee. I usually do not leave 2-star reviews, but 45 minutes was ridiculous for lattes. The employees should have warned us that they were so backed up because we would have went elsewhere. I will not go back to this location. read more

Cutest little cafe in WI, near Menomonee falls. The baristas are super friendly and warm, the ambiance is perfect for a lift me up and the teas/ coffee slaps. This was a cute spot to stop into for a sandwich and drink. I loved the historical building aspect. Plenty of seating to connect with people. Yummy coffee. I had the s'mores latte. I also had a bacon egg and cheese breakfast Sammy. The extra kick of the ranch on it was superb! The staff were super nice. It has a cozy but airy feel to it. Also: the giving tree -- are you kidding me?? Highly recommend and I'd come back. read more

They need more workers. Our food came out way before our cold brew did. By the time the cold brew was served, my food was cold. Just add another barista during the rush. It really is a wonderful place, but they seem to be having issues with their success. read more

This is a great Wisconsin coffee shop. The service is good, and we really appreciate that the baristas are all smiles; they really look happy working at Fiddleheads Menomonee Falls. I appreciate the veggie/ gluten free options and the not-so-big baked goods. The veggie egg sandwich is de-li-cious! Never thought that cucumber would taste so good in an egg sandwich. I like that they also have kombucha, another favorite. I'm glad they also gave a rewards program! read more

I have been in a few times and while I've liked their drinks and the pastries I've gotten, my biggest ding on them is they seem to get the drinks and food out extremely slowly. Even if the line is a few people, I've waited 15 minutes or more for basic drinks (hot chocolate) and had them forgot to give me my pastry. I'll go back but just need to set my expectations. read more

I have been here before and thought the drinks were alright but recently I was in the area and tried Fiddleheads again and my drink was absolutely delicious! This coffee shop is very spacious and seems to always be full of people working or studying. The workers are super friendly and make really good drinks. I got a hot vanilla latte every time I came in and each one was delicious. Definitely check fiddleheads out! read more

This coffee shop is such a gem! I've only visited once, but I enjoyed my time immensely. Both my beverage and my pastry were absolutely delicious. The iced chai latte with almond milk was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy (by spicy I mean warm spices like nutmeg and cardamom). Sometimes lattes come with too much milk and not enough chai, but this was made perfectly. The almond milk didn't overpower and water down the chai flavor at all. My cinnamon roll was warm and gooey. The drizzle of icing on top complemented the intense cinnamon flavor nicely. The are plenty of places to sit inside both on the main level and the second floor. The decor is an interesting mix of modern and eclectic - making for a unique yet cozy atmosphere. The couch I sat on upstairs was super comfy! The only reason this coffee shop gets four stars instead of five is because parking can be iffy. There are a few spots right in front, but otherwise you'll probably have to poke around for some street parking. Other than that, I'd highly recommend stopping by for a quick snack and something to sip on! read more

I've been here a few times and I always get the iced matcha latte with almond milk. It's one of the more tasty matcha lattes in my opinion, which is why I've been back. I've had a breakfast sandwich from here before which was fine, but last time I had the house salad which I really enjoyed. It was fresh, a really nice size and the dressing was yummy. Sitting outside was nice and peaceful and the inside has plenty of space to sit and get work done or visit with a friend. I will continue to visit this location and am hoping to try the one in Tosa soon. read more

Great service and atmosphere. I like the rooftop and upstairs seating option. The coffee wasn't my favorite but Im picky with coffee.

Great spot for good food, fantastic coffee and a productive vibe. The staff is friendly and the cafe is kept clean.

Good coffee, spacious coffee shop with good WiFi, nice selection of pastries that go with coffee. Ebullient baristas and kid friendly. Both of these things I find to be negatives, but I'm a curmudgeon. I just cannot stand chirpy and cheerful before my coffee, and I don't like it much after my coffee. I am truly annoyed with nonsense words, they add "at all?" to every sentence. But as I observe, I realize most people like this sort of thing. The happy children near my table would also be a plus for most people. I feel like buying them some triple shot lattes. If I didn't have so much work to do that is exactly what I would do. This is such a family friendly place the parental units are a couple tables away enjoying grown up time. Service might be overly cheerful with excessive wordiness, but it is also very competent and efficient. There seems to be high morale which makes the place different from the non-union Starbucks in the area. They have a parking lot. read more

While waiting in line 2 people came in with incorrect orders. I ordered a bowl of soup to go. Before leaving I checked in the bag and I asked the lady. Are you sure this is the bowl of soup size? My original plan was to drive thru at Starbucks this morning before starting my work day however the line was incredible long and that plan changed. I'm not really a patient person and the thought of waiting for my morning cup of joe was not going to work. So I decided to drive up the street and keep it local today. I'm so glad I made this choice because now I have the perfect spot to work in if I need to get out of my home office for a change up. The atmosphere and coffee was just what I needed. There's a fireplace and I can imagine myself enjoying my coffee here next winter. This location is very close to home. I'll definitely be back. Great place to stop while in Menomonee Falls. I'm a big fan of local coffee shops and Fiddleheads just became a new favorite added to the list! 3 main things I need: spacious seating, an outlet, and great coffee. Fiddleheads definitely have all three! Their 2-floor bike themed cafe is adorable and so much outdoor seating (can't wait until it gets warmer!). I love for my coffee to be smooth and strong. Fiddleheads breakfast blend roast is just that. Even their decaf is wonderful! read more

Went on a Saturday morning and the line to order was very long which made them appear to be busy, but after watching discovered the cashier could not take the orders in a timely manner. We stood in line for 25 minutes, and then I was given the wrong order. When she offered to correct it I literally said to the cashier "your line is so long, it's fine I'll drink it" because I'm not one to make a scene. Probably won't be back. read more

I stopped for an iced coffee and sandwich to get some work done mid day. The place was super cute and the service was good. I went to the bathroom which was pretty dirty and that's always an indication to me that the kitchen might be too. My iced coffee was one of their summer flavors and it was pretty good, but my sandwich was very ordinary. Very underwhelming. Especially for the price. Stop for coffee, don't eat the food. read more

I'm so excited to have a roomy coffee shop in the Falls! I've never been to a Fiddleheads before but got my usual dirty chai with almond milk, which wasn't as mild as Starbucks or as spicy as Colectivo. It was the best of both worlds for me. I didn't have a chance to peruse their food menu. Again, the space! I see myself coming here often to get some work done or just relax. There's seating on both floors (+ a conference room available for reservation), and I'm eager to see what their plans are for the patio. As someone who is used to going to Colectivo when I lived in Milwaukee, this is a very welcome and exciting addition to the Falls! read more

This is my fifth time here, 3 times for coffee and twice for a quick and healthier breakfast on the go. The first time I visit the store was a few days after they opened and ordered a veggie burrito with a coffee. The burrito at the time was decent and the cost was a bit less than it currently is on the menu. I do not usually drink specialty coffees, so I opt for the regular black coffee to go and their blends are pretty good. Better than the chain coffee place down the road in my opinion, when it comes to regular coffee. The veggie wrap this morning was a little bit of a let down, but menu ingredients for items change all the time. For a single veggie wrap, that was already assembled from previously cooked items and steamed to temperature was $6.65 with tax. Not overly a big wallet hit, and it was pretty hot when received, but it was missing something. Maybe instead of chipotle mayo, salsa or pico could be used as that that wet ingredient to improve the taste, but this is a personal preference. All in all, check out the coffee bar and enjoy the ambience. read more

Very cute and quiet location in downtown Menomonee Falls. Today I ordered an iced Autumn Latte with almond milk and my husband had one with whole milk. Spent around $15 with tip on two iced coffees which is pretty pricey BUT, the coffee was good and the latte was not overly sweet. I've also come here and had a cold brew while studying. I am adjusting my original review from 2 to 5 stars. *Thank you* management for addressing the loud music concern, and, for setting up the kiosk survey. I have returned weekly and it is much improved. Note: In the interest of full disclosure I am keeping my original review below. But...to reiterate...my concerns below have been acknowledged and addressed! -------- There is much to like here: friendly staff, sitting nooks, gas fireplace. And I do shop here-- but only "to go". But ... the overhead music volume is really loud, and the employees say they cannot adjust it. Among the regular patrons I've met, most wear headphones. But even my noise-cancelling headphones do not make much difference, including upstairs. I would spend time here if management acknowledges the feedback...Perhaps take a poll of regular patrons and let a plurality decide? read more
