I really wish this coffee shop would sell their shop to someone willing to put in the effort to run a business on the weekend, step up their food game, and really embrace their amazing location. This area is starved for an enthusiastic coffee shop with vibrant workers who know their community. It's dark, dank, and loud inside with a "meh" menu. But, we keep coming back because it's what's available. Too many business in this area are closed on Sun and Monday. Change it up. People want a place to go on a lazy Sunday morning. Again, please sell to a motivated business owner or change it up. I want to like spending money here. I want to be excited to go to, Brewer's Two! So much potential! read more

Been here several times. It's a "nice" place on Pewaukee Lake. The signage is a little confusing, in that it's attached to another business (VeloCity Cycling), but just open the door and walk in. There are plenty of windows, so you know that you're in the right place. There are several different places to sit. Inside by the counter, a glass enclosed patio with a better view of the lake (the sunny can be overly bright and glaring), and outside seating during warmer weather. Got a friendly greeting by the staff, and help with the ordering. Got a couple hot drinks, including a London Fog Latte, and two scones (one blueberry, and another chocolate chip). The drinks were done nicely, with the London Fog including the necessary vanilla, lavender, and extra foam. The scones were good, but definitely not a traditional recipe. These were essentially muffins that were cooked on a cookie sheet and not a muffin tin. Had great muffing texture, not the tender/dry/crumble that you get with a real scone. I did ask, and apparently they make everything from scratch in house. When we arrived, there were just several tables of customers, but within the hour the entire place filled up. It's a popular place, and at times it could be hard to hold a conversation. It's a nice spot, with a great view, friendly staff and well made beverages. Would stop in again. read more

Good coffee but expensive. All our grilled cheese sandwiches were not grilled but just toasted and cold. The cheese was not melted, seemingly never was. Service was adequate but no smiles or concern about the customer. I wish I'd sent the food back. Oh well, live and learn. read more

Decided to stop in to do a little work while eating, instead of going to Panera or some other big chain. The staff were nice, though obviously young and a little slower in responding to needs during a lunch rush. The food was fine - the selection is fair for a cafe, but nothing to write much about. It reminded me of school lunch - maybe I'll give it another shot someday since I seem to be in the minority in this experience. The mocha blend shake, on the other hand, made up for the meh welcome. The space is clean and there is a good amount of seating. The parking lot is a nice option in the busy area, and makes it convenient to come in. They have a nice sun room you can sit in to enjoy the Pewaukee lake view, but you are only allowed to be there for an hour...so don't plan to be able to stick around for long. Service/mannerisms/etiquette: 2/5 stars. REDEMPTION: the food is REALLY good. Their FRITTATAS and QUICHE are very flavorful and tasty! We got all of them (3 or 4 total, can't remember). We also got a few different coffees, frappes, and a mocha shake. All very tasty! For 4 people with breakfast, coffees/sugar drinks, and a muffin, we spent around $35. Not bad! I don't know why I hadn't been here sooner! Everything made fresh with care. Perfect iced coffee and when they ran out of simple syrup they actually made some just for my cup. Since I'm kind of a coffee snob I rarely order coffee out of the house but it was on point. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had on a fresh croissant. Didn't get a pic of the chef salad or the Keylime pie because it was devoured before I even thought of it. The desserts all looked amazing and they're all freshly made the Keylime pie tasted like I was in the south Florida. Very good food here, and the lake view is amazing. However they really need umbrellas or a sun shade. It's not pleasant without some shade. I recommend the egg salad on a Croissant. Delicious. read more

It is in a great location facing the beach! My wife got a latte and was good, I have had a espresso and it was undrinkable, so sour. It was like drinking petroleum! What a shame it was my first time trying "anodine coffee", I don't know if it is the responsibility of the barista, the machine or the roaster but it was disgusting. read more

Good drinks. Cute café. But employees do not wear masks and the tables aren't sanitized from customer to customer.

I had a good salad here, but was turned off by the manager/owner who was snipping and yelling at the employees in a very unprofessional way that made me uncomfortable. No wonder staff turnover seems to be standard here. I would rather go to place that treats employees with respect. Also, the mask usage here is pretty lax which is another reason I'll go someplace else next time. read more

The coffee is always delicious! Love the concept that it is attached to a bike shop, beer bar and right on the beachfront. You can stop by before or after spending time at the beach for a snack or coffee-the salads are also divine. They have some extremely comfy chairs you can relax in while you enjoy your coffee.. Nice little location in the lake and cute shop, but they don't know how to make espresso drinks very well at all. We came here for a latte and what we got was overheated milk that just tasted bad. When we asked about it we were told that's how they make it and gave us some ice cubes. If you are looking for a good espresso drink, look elsewhere. They heat their milk to 180 degrees. Milk looses its sweetness above 160, so what you get is burnt milk and no chance to even taste the espresso. Highly disappointed and not sure I'd come back for coffee here. read more

Really yummy smoothies, grilled sandwiches (nice crunchy bread and melted cheese) and soups (African peanut and tomato bisque). Dessert case is tempting, pb cookies and power balls are my go to. Salads are mediocre, lacking good proteins. Coffee (I usually just order drip) is fine, not too acidic, but please bring back the coffee condiments! I love this cafe's grilled cheese! Delicious! The employees are also quite friendly. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I feel as though the price you pay for tea compared to the amount you receive is ridiculous. The tea that I ordered was expensive, and about 80% ice. I asked if they could make a macchiato because I didn't see it on the menu. The guy taking my order says, "What's that?" I didn't know the exact ratio of milk to espresso to tell him, so I just ordered a doppio. Again, met with confusion. He told me "I've been doing coffee for six years and I don't know those terms. Are those Starbucks terms? I've never been to Starbucks, sorry." Anyone who's been making coffee for six years should know the basic, common Italian terms used for espresso drinks. That might not have been an issue had my espresso not been as sour as a green apple Warhead. I couldn't finish it. I went back to order an Earl Grey to get the taste out of my mouth, but I had to wait 10 minutes to drink it because it was insanely hot. If their water temperature is that high, it might explain why the espresso was overbrewed. This place is very nice, and there's a great view of the lake. Their food appears well made (and very generously portioned), so perhaps it's just a matter of a not so metro area having iffy coffee. Or perhaps it was a bad day. I would give this place another chance, but maybe it's just better for flavored lattes and sandwiches. read more

Let me start by saying I love this café and I love their products. But I came in to find myself shocked that none of the staff have masks. Do we not realize the coronavirus spreads through breath? I realize no one on the streets is wearing masks, that's its own problem but at the very least B2 should learn from Culvers and put some masks on staff during food prep. read more

They brew Alterra coffee, and they brew it right. The prices are around $1.60 for a small coffee. The Good They have a great location! On a beautiful day, its the next best thing to Alterra on the lake in Milwaukee. The Bad They put orange flavoring into the icing on their cinnamon rolls. If you like that, awesome. If you don't, then it's a sad day for your mouth. The Ugly When they are busy it can take a while to get to the counter, they are not as quick as a bigger coffee shop, so have patience and take a deep breath. Brewer's Two has beautiful views of Pewaukee Lake. It's located right on the downtown strip and there are big windows so you look out at the water. If you go there, get the blueberry oatmeal. It is not ANYTHING like the packaged oatmeal you're picturing. It is home baked and made with real oats and whole, juicy blueberries. It is served with a side of warm milk (to pour over it) and fresh fruit. Healthiest and tastiest item on the menu! It's a great place to sit and chat. They are open in the mornings/early afternoon. I cried a little today. That's because I ate the last of my wonderful Christmas cookies that I purchased at Brewers two Cafe. I picked up the platter of decorated cut outs, pecan fingers, peanut butter cups and more shortly before Christmas. My guests love them, and I love them even more. You can taste the love in each and every one. I love this place and visit often, but the Christmas cookies were a special treat this year.
