Thankfully, the road wasn't busy when we came, and we didn't run into this trouble at all. I'm just assuming, since roundabouts are made on roads that are busy during traffic hours. The coffeeshop itself is quaint and cozy inside. Service was slow, as there was only one person working on making all the drinks, taking the orders, taking payments, and getting food out. There were only 2 people ahead of us, but it took a while for us to get an acknowledgment for being there, as she was working hard on making the drinks for them. Our group mostly stuck with regular coffee, and the cafe uses Stone Creek Coffee. The latte was good and creamy. Vibes inside were cozy and warm on a cold December day. And the neighborhood was nice! As I was meeting two friends to do some work, we were offered a table upstairs which gave us a bit more room and less chatter. The two upstairs areas are good for group meetings, and can be reserved. The smaller of the two has two tables, which are good for small groups. I like the decor, and it appears they are expanding their space upstairs. Those with accessibility issues have an entry ramp in the rear parking lot. (I did not take a look at the restrooms.). There is also parking on the street in front. Inside, there is seating downstairs or upstairs, which tends to be a bit quieter (my choice). Also upstairs is a meeting room that you can reserve. The counter to order is at the back of the shop, which can feel a little distracting if you are sitting downstairs, with people lining up across the room. On this visit, I got a super friendly greeting from the cashier. Ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (a little vanilla, a little lavender, extra foam) in a mug, and a blueberry lemon scone. They do a nice job with the latte, and the scone was very good (might ask to have it warmed up next time). The place has a great vibe. The staff seem to enjoy themselves and treat everyone with kindness and respect. It's a great example of what a coffee shop should be.
