This was my first time at a Stone Creek & I wasn't disappointed! The cafe was cute, with lots of seating & art, & I was super tempted by their merch stand. They had an extensive menu with some fun drink specials as well! The barista was super sweet, we chatted a bit while she rang me up. My drink was ready really fast, & it was tasty as well (I got one of the specials, an Iced Almond Spiced Pear Latte). I do wish I could taste more of the pear, but the drink itself was really good. As a Milwaukee native, I'm sure I'll be back to one of their cafes in the future! I want to try their bagged beans :)

This Stone Creek is hidden in a very nice location. They also have a good selection of merch, stickers, and coffee mugs for purchase. Great coffee, excellent service!

When my brother and I pulled in to the hotel across the way, I saw this pace and said to myself... I will try this place one day while here. The menu had both teas and coffee. I did convince myself to grab one of each to get the full experience. I was greeted with a friendly hello upon entry. The gal who took my order was very friendly and informative. I liked how the menu had the lighter and darker toasts labeled on it that made my decision there quick and easy. The big menu had the colors of the tea, but the more specific flavors had a nice picture menu she brought out for me to have me decide on the jasmine green tea. I didn't have to wait that long for both orders. The Guatemalan Coffee came up first then the tea. The only comes in the one size, which was fine by me. I always appreciate it when they have dairy alternatives for creamers. I went with almond milk for my coffee and sugar in the raw packets for both. They have a fun atmosphere. Everyone there was already hanging out with someone they already met up with or ran into someone they already knew and just happened to run into. Fun little place. Even the girl at the front desk at the hotel commented on my cups asking how I liked them. I love how you get that from local spots versus the larger chains. If I am ever back in this area, I will recommend this place. Maybe even check out one of their larger locations that have the big roasters and get a tour. I don't drink anymore so the pub tours are cool but a coffee shop tour would be more fitting for my lifestyle nowadays. Well done Stone Creek!

I happened to be in Delafield, desperately searching for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday. I saw from Google Maps that Jimmy John's was close. To my amazement and utter delight, I also found this gem in the same strip mall! I love Stone Creek. I cannot quantify how much money I have spent on this franchise since moving to Milwaukee 4 years ago, and if I did, I probably would kick myself for not taking more advantage of their annual gift card sales. This location is no exception to their greatness. Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Great service. I'd say I'd be back, but I'm usually never in Delafield area. If you are, stop by!

Coffee geeks on steroids. Stone Creek Coffee is a local milwaukee area operation with about a nine stores in and around Milwaukee. They are happy to serve you drip coffee or pull a shot, but they also can aero press, pour over, french press and every other option - and not only do it, but do it well. Their staff is clearly well trained in everything coffee and they know thier beans (roasted by Stone Creek in a seperate location, not on site) and they know how to prepare them all the different ways. They do sell their coffee beans, all the way up to five pound bags, which is nice for us who 1) drink a ton of coffee at home and 2) live a couple hours away and only get to the area occasionally. So - why four and not five stars? We all have habits, one of mine is consuming coffee morning noon and night. So - what makes a good coffee shop? First, what is the coffee like? Brewed, espresso, etc. They don't have to roast on site but it has to be top quality and made well. Stone Creek gets full points here with excellent coffee and tons of options in prep, including aero press (although the barista had to check the instruction manual). Second, what is the vibe. WiFi, seating, character ( both the building as well as the people), location like. It can't be a soulless stripmall or stand alone corporate outpost. Stone Creek is kind of interesting, this location is in a suburban strip mall, but they made the inside very kind of retro urban milwaukee with rough wood floors and metal. So it's a minus for the strip mall, a plus for the interior. They have free wifi and it's kind of neet with some really cool posters they make, so full points even though I hate to do that for a strip mall location. Third, what is the food like, if they offer it. It can't be reheated dreck trucked in frozen. It has to be made on site, be well made and be different. It doesn't have to offer a ton of options, but what they do sell has to be good enough that you come for just it. Stone Creek gets a 50/50 review here. Only baked goods from their central location in Milw, and they are pretty ok, but they are not awesome. Plus, no lunch or other options so this is where they fall off a point. Fourth - what is the staff like- do they make you want to come back? Pretty nice staff, very knowledgeable, Friendly and pour great coffee. Call it 4.5 star staff So in conclusion - if all you want is coffee, five stars. If you looking for a little more, they fall just a little short

My lavender latte was a little too "herby" for my taste - and I love lavender drinks - but I think it might taste better hot.

I think in my last review I had gotten the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel and mentioned it was pretty basic (your order was pretty basic, you may have shouted at the screen--you're not wrong, gentle reader). Since then I've grown, I've taken responsibility for my uninspired ordering and can now confidently say--they have some of the best coffee shop breakfast bites around. What should you order? Their strawberry avocado toast. Strawberries on avocado? I'm unsure, you may be muttering. Please do yourself a favor, stop muttering, and just order the dang toast. It's goat cheese sprinkled, balsamic reduction drizzled, and quite simply some of the best avocado toast I've had the pleasure of consuming. What else? The baked oatmeal with berries. Warm, comforting, and adorned with fresh berries--it's the stuff winter dreams are made of. I love during the holidays they have some fun holiday lattes (s/o to the jingle bells latte) and I've also recently ordered and enjoyed their tangerine mocha (citrus-y delight!). The service is always above-and-beyond lovely. And, dining/seating area is clean and comfortable. Get to it!

It's an interesting place, but hard to put into a specific category. It offers hot beverages, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, oatmeal, etc. -- and then they also have ice cream. When I walked in, I was a bit unsure about the layout and seating. In the first area, there are a couple of tables. There are lots of things going on in this space, and it feels a bit cramped and chaotic. The order counter is here, along with a small kitchen. Beyond this space, you'll find a much larger seating area with tables for different-sized groups. I'm not a design expert, but this area also felt a bit chaotic. I didn't sense any overarching design. For me, it didn't have the relaxing, chill vibe I look for in a coffee shop or café. Got a super friendly greeting and service. Ordered a couple of tea lattes -- one Chai, and the other a London Fog (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam). Both were made in mugs, served at the right temperature, with great flavor. Got a couple of the scones, and those were just "okay." They were dry (which a scone should be), but they leaned more muffin-like than shortbread-like. Overall, the visit was a mixed bag -- not bad, but not a place I'm likely to return to.

The Mocha had good flavor, and the right amount of chocolate (sometimes they can taste more like hot chocolate). They warmed up the cake and it was absolutely delicous. It was a good portion, with more than enough to share. My friend got the oatmeal, and that was also amazingly good. The bowl was brimming with oats and all the optional toppings. You like walnuts? There were enough in that one bowl to make a cake! Everything was delicious. My one criticism was that they do not have mugs for the hot beverages. Just not a fan of sitting down for a inside coffeeshop experience with a paper cup. Service: The people helping us out were both super friendly. Explained the different menu choices. They offer gluten "friendly" bakery, and let us know that they try hard to contain any cross contamination.. I don't have a gluten issue, but that was good to know. Gave great service for our entire stay. Atmosphere: The place is nicely designed. Plenty of natural light through the front and side windows.
