I got a matcha latte which was fine, but wouldn't recommend. The color was great - however the sweetener and milk overpowered the taste of the tea and I didn't finish it. I would come back and try the coffee drinks sometime because they did look really cool. Lots of fun options on the menu. TBH not a fan of the decor - I know the theme is "blue collar" and they were going for a steel shop vibe but the cafe is pretty dark and feels smaller than it is because of the scrap metal on the walls. Wouldn't be somewhere I'd sit and study but fine for grab and go for me. Maybe I'm just a boomer but I liked the way it was decorated when it was Milwaukee Street Traders and miss how cozy and light it was then. I did LOVE the pay it forward wall. Stopped in to meet a friend and was looking forward to a hot beverage and a pastry. I've been here many times, and it's consistently good. They do an excellent job with the London Fog Tea Latte, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The one area I wish they did a little better with is the bakery. I really like a good scone. Theirs are okay, but they feel and taste like the mass produced ones you find at many coffee shops. I don't believe they are made from scratch. Nice to have the chance to change it up. All the staff have been attentive & friendly. Love the interior as it's has a very informal & relaxed feel, which fits the name. Old (looking) wood tables & a mix of chair types. Plus there's a good amount of seating. Only minor issue for those (like me) who intend to work or read there is that there's a Thursday morning men's bible study group. Absolutely fine with whatever religion or social group meeting, but it's a bit distracting given the group & presenter volume. Plus, the coffee shop turns off the music when they meet. So we don't have the ambient sound to provide a buffer to the group's discussion & presentation. This review is regarding the Delafield location. It's in the downtown with free parking on the street. Great little coffee shop in the heart of Delafield. We were determined to enjoy brunch at Belfrē when we arrived to a 45 minute wait. We were fine with the wait but needed some caffeination in the meantime. A quick search on Yelp and we found that Blue Collar Coffee was but a 5 minute walk away. Do towns get more charming than Delafield? Not by much. The walk was lovely and we were able to check out some ice sculptures along the way. We arrived at Blue Collar coffee to find it bustling with people on an early Sunday afternoon. There was a short line and we were delighted to see a menu of classic staples as well as a seasonal menu. I'm very impressed with this coffee shop. I've visited twice now, and each time I've had a pleasant experience. The iced chai latte I ordered leans more on the spiced rather than sweet side, so I'd recommend adding a flavor shot to your order. I went with a pump of vanilla and it was delicious. There is a nice variety of pastries to choose from. The blueberry muffin I ordered was fluffy and moist and packed with blueberries. There was a nice golden crust on the top as well. There is plenty of seating inside. You really have your pick of booths and tables. The patio also has a few tables, but not a lot. If you want to eat outdoors, I'd recommend arriving pretty early. Street parking is pretty much your only option, so it can sometimes be a little hard to find. Blue Collar Coffee also has two gender-neutral restrooms. I haven't been here since the pandemic when the owner took an anti-mask stance but I needed a place to hole up in town. Firstly, I forgot how un-cozy the atmosphere is. I think it's going for garage chic? Anyway, its a weirdly dark and rusty aesthetic. Secondly, the turkey sandwich they nuked for me was truly disgusting-to the point I wondered how old the turkey was. Threw the whole thing out. Thirdly, the BELL. The door has a comically loud bell that jolted me every time someone came in or out. I'm assuming its so the staff can hear someone enter if they're in the back? If you're easily distracted, it's a nightmare. I hate being a negative nancy, so I'll end by saying the baristas were lovely-friendly and hardworking. I got a coffee there and it was not very good, I took a espresso and they served me a double espresso, it was so sour and strong, it make sense on a latte maybe, my wife had an Americano and it was the same . People were nice I took a blueberry pastry and that was not good the pastry was not flaky, was flat, and the blueberry jam was disappointing, they have Croissants but I didn't tried, it is funny to find a croissant in a place called "blue collar" in Wisconsin. I was really disappointed in my visit today. First, multiple employees weren't wearing masks even while preparing food and drinks. One had a mask dangling from one ear. The ones that were wearing masks weren't wearing them correctly. Another customer asked them to put their masks on and I was truly disappointed at their response- one employee responded sarcastically he would "remember the next time" and the other put on her mask only to take it off the minute the customer walked out the door while she was still preparing my drink. The coffee was mediocre and the sandwich I ordered barely had any of the ham, cheese, or apple on it. It was mainly bread and mustard. While I love to support small, local businesses, I won't come back to this establishment again and I wish I had just gone to Stone Creek. read more

Terrible service. Not very friendly. Ordered sandwich soup and 2 coffees to go. Sandwich came and literally 1 thin slice of deli roast beef on the sandwich. Didn't get my soup so had to ask for it and was told someone else was getting it for me. Someone else didn't get it. Asked for it again. Was told 5 mins. Waited 5 mins and then was told there was an issue and they couldn't get my soup. They asked if I wanted a muffin or something to which I said no I'd like a refund. Took my card and brought it back to me without a receipt. They replied they would take care of it later they were too busy. I said no I would like a receipt. Didn't get a refund instead was charged double. I now have to go back tomorrow with print out from my account to get refund. Will not be ordering food or coffee. Finally, a legitimate coffee shop in the downtown of Delafield. Milwaukee Street Traders had average drinks at best, and you could clearly tell by the drinks that the staff was not trained nearly as well as they could be. If Stone Creek coffee had a local counterpart, I would say that this is it! The Ruby coffee is fantastic. The staff is super friendly and seems well trained, the menu is small but fresh and hot. I don't understand the complaints about the dark atmosphere, as it really fits with other restaurants in the area (Revere's, I.D.), and stays in line with the apparent brand aesthetic of Blue Collar. Just because it's not your style doesn't warrant a poor review. I do agree that some couches would be welcome. read more
