This is such a cute little spot in downtown Waukesha! The building it is located in has so much…read morecharm and huge windows. There is plenty of space to get work done too. Their staff was very helpful while placing my order (asking if I wanted to add any syrups to my horchata latte and giving their suggestion as well). I ordered the horchata latte and the turkey sandwich on a croissant. Both came out super quickly and hit the spot. I'll be back!

Having mugs to serve drinks in is always a good thing, and this time they got that right too. They had a bunch of different muffin options, and they were all gluten-free. I have to admit that the coffee cake muffin was pretty good. But my first choice would still be to have a non-gluten-free scone option. Service: Super friendly service. I did mention my interest in a scone, and they didn't get defensive about it. Instead, they suggested that I might like one of their gluten-free choices. I did tell them that, for a muffin, it was pretty good, and they seemed pleased with that. Atmosphere: It was sunny and relatively quiet inside. A good spot to relax. I wouldn't mind coming back. I would just need to adjust my expectations when it comes to the bakery item choices.

Stopped in for the first time. Right as they opened at 8am. The place is a little odd, but…read morecharming at the same time. It's a converted barn, and from the outside you might actually think that it's still being used. There is parking behind the barn, and some seating outside. (posted signs about Bees, and some places are off limits, but I didn't see any beehives?) The lower level of the barn had been converted/remodeled into a small restaurant space. There are several wooden tables. What is so very suprising was the large selection of home made bakery and pastry items. They all looked fresh and LARGE. I love a good scone, which they had, but they also had a selection of different coffee cakes, and cinnamon rolls. It was a tough choice but I ended up getting the Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake. They also made me a Chai Latte, in a mug. A was a great combination. The coffee cake was a little dry/crumbly (which I like), so it paired well with the hot chai. The place was busy. And from the sound of it, there were lots of regulars. That's always a good sign. Some people ordered breakfast and egg dishes. They all looked goo. It's a nice place, with nice folks, and excellent baked good. I would have preferred a bit more inside seating, but they are working with limited space. The outside could benefit from some better landscaping, and seating areas.

Very good breakfast skillet and frappe latte. Would definitely recommend. It's obvious though than the young man prefers the locals. The woman whom I'm assuming is an owner was very friendly. Go try it out. It's worth a drive and stop. Portions were very generous

Lovely! ... and tasty and delish…read more Coffee is great. No burnt taste. Roasted on site. Hot or cold- lots of flavors to add...nice to go cups that don't feel like they're going to fall apart after sitting for a few minutes... Food was outstanding- we all loved what we had. I had the med breakfast sandwich- added roasted peppers and a slice of bacon. SO good. My gf added olives to hers- she said it made her sandwich. Also tried the European bkfst sandwich- and they loved that as well. The baguette was crunchy and enjoyable. Eggs were nicely cooked and a nice amount that you didn't feel like they skimped on the portion. So friendly- we had a large group and they put tables together for us and came to the table to take the order so we didn't have to stand in line to order. Cute shop to pick up some mugs, coffee or gifts. So sad it just took us so long to visit here.

Came again with a friend. It was a good experience…read more I ordered a 16 oz mocha with whole milk. What I got was definitely larger than that. It was a good drink, with a good balance of coffee and chocolate. It was hot enough, and the foam was decent. I've learned a bit about frothing milk to the right texture for a latte. My understanding--which I still need to fact-check--is that properly textured milk allows you to create decent latte art. The absence of latte art could mean the milk wasn't textured quite right, or simply that the barista chose not to add it. The foam on this particular mocha wasn't quite right for my taste. It was a bit thin, and there was no latte art.
