It was a little crowded and noisy inside, but the weather was beautiful, so we grabbed one of the picnic tables outside. That turned out to be a great choice. Food: I ordered another London Fog. They really do a nice job with them. It had great flavor, a rich, frothy texture, and was served at nearly the perfect temperature for me, about 150°F. They also had a good selection of bakery items, and I chose a Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffin. I normally ask to have muffins warmed up, which they're always happy to do. This time they mentioned that they have a microwave available for customers to use themselves. I had never noticed it before, but I think it's a brilliant idea. You can warm up your pastry just the way you like it, or even give your hot beverage a quick reheat if it cools down. I wish more coffee shops offered something like that. We'll definitely be back!

Things that were off-putting: seems like a local fan-favorite and outsiders passing through are "meh". Not the warm and fuzzy welcome / vibe I typically find and enjoy at a coffee shop. Also the main entrance is not accessible. However, we did discover an accessible ramp on the side of the building (all under construction / roped off at the time of our visit but good to know for future visits). Lastly, it's a small and cozy place but there was a lot of merch scattered about where maybe an extra table could have been squeezed in. Just some thoughts!

One thing I'd like to see is the option of having hot drinks served in a mug instead of only paper cups. They also have a good selection of pastries, including muffins, cookies, and scones. Service: I've always received great service here. Friendly smiles, helpful staff, and quick service make each visit enjoyable. Atmosphere: This location is a unique combination of coffee shop, Jazzercise studio, and Nutman distribution center. They also carry a wide variety of gifts, including crafts, candles, glassware, and greeting cards. It's a fun place to browse if you're looking for a unique gift while enjoying your coffee. Today I tried a new coffee today, the cherry cola cooler, I cannot say I recommend. It's made with housemade syrup, it really taste like as if you got a cherry coke, and a coffee and mixed it together. The coffee in general I'd say is not a sweet treat. The gluten free chocolate chip cookie, reminded me of their chocolate scone, it was soft, tasted great. The scone was so pretty and well balanced, loved that I got the last one in the showcase. The chilaquiles were a bit disappointing. Presentation was wonderful, and proportions were very good. But the tortillas were already all soft and soggy on arrival, in red sause. Chilequiles is really more of a building board, pick the way you want your eggs, pick the sauce (red or green) pick your protein. I was asked how I wanted my eggs, but not the other things. With my mind in a few directions it didn't come to me until it was already served. Normally I'd get green sauce and chicken for protein. At other restaurants there usually beans and rice but I didn't not expect that here, which it wasn't. The eggs were amazing, clearly amazing quality-the yolk a deep orange. My friend got the hoppei poppei, it seemed like it was really met to her liking-light cheese in the eggs, and the summer sausage and interesting but tasty addition for breakfast. The café occupies one end of the building. I stopped in with a friend for an early lunch, and what a great surprise this turned out to be. Food: Their menu contains regular items as well as some R&D (Research and Development) selections. R&D items are not your typical flavor combinations and are great choices if you like trying different things. We got a couple of hot beverages. My friend ordered the hot chocolate, and I decided to try the special Carrot Cake Chai (with fresh carrots and spices). The hot chocolate was expertly made. It was rich, had excellent foam, and featured special latte art. The Carrot Cake Chai had strong flavor and a wonderful creamy texture. It was a bit sweet for my tastes (and I like sweet), and I didn't finish it. I talked to the barista, and they said they could easily adjust the sweetness level by using one less pump of the syrup. For food, I got the Wisco Avocado Toast, and my friend ordered the Devil Egg Salad Sandwich. My toast was good, with a generous amount of fresh avocado. The grape tomatoes were flavorful, but there was a bit too much of the chili crisp seasoning. The side salad was a small mix of lettuce with a few sliced radishes. My friend really enjoyed the egg salad. It was fresh, flavorful, had the right amount of mayo, and came in a good portion. Service: Super friendly service from the staff. I got a lot of helpful suggestions from the person taking the order, and the barista did an amazing job with the drinks. They give you a number and deliver your meal to your table. Food and drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. Atmosphere: This place has a terrific layout. You can choose from several different seating areas. Some are set up for a quick meal, while others, like the upstairs area, feel more like a lounge. We sat in the back where there is a couch and several high-top tables. The place has an upscale yet casual feel to it. Before leaving, I picked up several of their sample packs of the most popular sauces: dark, white, and caramel. They will make great gifts for friends. Definitely a place worth checking out or visiting again.

I also had the Deviled Egg Salad Sando because I can never pass up deviled eggs when it's on the menu. The flavors were outstanding the bread held up well. If I had one critique, the should spread it out more so I get the salad and bread in every bite. As you can see, they lumped it all in the middle which left a ton of plain bread. The ambiance is nice but it does get pretty loud in there with all the people. Sound carries, so when the kiddos are loud it makes it feel that much louder. I can see this being a great place to grab a coffee and lunch while working (cause if you work from home it's nice to get out of the house every once in a while). What you now get for a London Fog Tea Latte is a drink with some dry foam on top and warm, flat milk underneath. Because I know they used to make these correctly, I took my drink back and asked about it. Long story short, they have replaced their original machines with manual steam wands and switched to "new and improved" machines that use automatic steaming. You place the wand in the milk, push a button, and voilà... a cup of lifeless hot milk. Dry foam on top, little to no texture below. It's fast, and I can see how it works well for a drive-through model. But it's a real disappointment for anyone who appreciates a properly textured latte with that smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Even with these machines, better texture is possible, but it takes more time and attention. When speed becomes the priority, quality is usually what suffers. The one consolation is that their Coffee Cake Muffins are still amazing.

The barista was super helpful and made sure we got the right milk preference, which for me is whole milk. Both drinks were especially good. My mocha had a nice balance of coffee and chocolate, with a rich, creamy texture. If I could make one small change, it would be to serve it a little hotter. It measured just over 120°F, and for me, a mocha is at its best at around 135°F. I'll be sure to ask for that next time. This time I paired my mocha with the Caramel Pecan Twist and had it warmed up. That turned out to be an excellent choice and the perfect companion to the mocha. Service: The barista was friendly, attentive, and took the time to make sure our drinks were prepared just the way we wanted them.
