Cutest coffeeshop that I've been hearing raving reviews about. Two months after they opened, I finally got to try them out. From the outside, it looks like an old office building with a tiny parking lot, but then step inside for a completely revamped interior, quite in fashion with the vibes of today's open concept coffee houses. One thing that sets Idyll apart is all the greenery inside. Not so much downstairs, but upstairs was a beautiful open, yet cozy area filled with pretty greens. We were greeted inside by a man holding a chemex bottle and little cups, handing out samples of their "pineapple candy" pour over. I was interested in trying, but not too excited, since I wasn't sure if this would mean a candy like sweet coffee, but not at all. The coffee was just a bit acid and quite a bit amazing. The guy serving the samples turned about to be Dan, one of the 4 or 5 owners of the shop. He was apparently also an Olympic speed skater! You could hear the passion for coffee as he talked. Something else I learned was that one of the owners used to work for Colectivo for decades. Browsing through the shop later, and drinking their coffee, I could sense some of the Colectivo touches. Their coffee beans are all labeled with the level of roast, body and acidify (like colectivo) and some of the merch looked familiar (I'm a Colectivo buff...). Coffee. After the Pineapple candy, I tried their Shortest Days, which was delicious. Just the right amount of acidity for me - and about as much as I like. I personally prefer to more full bodied, less acidic, good with cream type, though will sometimes be in the mood for some acidity. I brought home a bag of their espresso and Papua New Guinea. The Papua New Guinea was for hubby who enjoys acidic pour overs. He likes it, but wishes it had a little more body. The expresso was good also, but I wish it was a little less acidic. For my home coffees, I feel like I've chosen wrong ones. In any case, a wonderful experience made better by getting to chat with the owner and good coffee.

Loved the ambiance and overall flow of this place! From the entrance to the decor, you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the space. I ordered an iced peppermint mocha and it was refreshing and not overwhelming with the peppermint flavoring. This is a great spot for meeting up with a friend or even working.

I visited Idyll Coffee Roasters this week and loved the space. I went there for a work meeting and there was lots of seats available, which is always nice. Overall it had a great ambiance! The menu had a good amount of options, I should have explored it more. There were people behind me so I made a quick choice of a classic iced vanilla latte. In the end, I wasn't in love. It seemed like the espresso was a little burnt a the syrup seemed a bit off. I liked the space so much though that I'll definitely be back to try something new. The food menu also looked great!

I was so excited to try out a new coffee shop in Tosa! I went on a Saturday mid morning and it was so crowded! Despite this, the service was fast with almost no line waiting to order or receive my coffee. They have a selection of seasonal drinks as well as drip coffee and other non coffee drinks such as smoothies and tea. I ordered the gingerbread latte which was so good. I love when a coffee shop uses mugs instead of to go cups when dining in. They have a good selection of bakery items as well as breakfast and lunch items that I will have to come back to try. Overall this is such a cute coffee shop! I love the atmosphere with all the greenery and comfy places to sit including a fireplace. Great place to study and catch up with friends :)

Such a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee and a little treat! We stopped in after running some errands and enjoyed a coffee and a treat upstairs. As a plant lover, I especially loved all of the plants and natural light. I love all of the various seating areas, too! Cozy little corners, spaces for bigger groups, etc. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and patient as we all figured out what we wanted. Can't wait to go back again soon!

I have been waiting for a Tosa unique coffee shop to open up for a longggggg time and this hits the spot!!! A women-owned business and cafe with an incredible interior design concept that invites both conversation and solitude is what Idyll is. The open barista space to get brewing and the two seating levels in the building offer amazing natural light for both people and plants. I loved the seasonal fall latte that seemed popular per the barista working there at the time and look forward to popping back in to review more! 5/5 for the interior design 4/5 for the coffee- felt more heavy on the milk and sweet syrup than the actual coffee itself

I dropped into Idyll last week and was super impressed. There were so many places to sit, relax and sip my coffee. They made the space itself super cozy and inviting. Everything from the decor, to the fireplaces, and the abundance of natural light coming from the windows made this a super nice visit. I opted to sit next to the fireplace and was so cozy--this is the perfect hangout for the upcoming winter months. The drinks themselves? Delicious. I ordered their salted maple cold brew and it was so good--I can't wait to go back and try it again. The blush smoothie was perfect for my toddler. I was informed they use frozen fruit and not a juice puree like some other cafes. Definitely coming back. If it were any closer, this would probably be my go to cafe.

Went here with a group of 6 on a Saturday morning and it was packed! There are lots of great tables, couches and places to hang out, but it was hard to find an empty table when we went. I totally understand why. The vibe is great and the coffee and food were excellent! We got a pour over coffee, gingerbread latte, and spinach and feta danish. I was very pleased with all three. Service was also very friendly despite the large crowd. What a great addition to Tosa!

Lovely new coffee shop!! I met a few friends there to work and it was perfect! Plenty of seating options (tables, booths, comfy chairs, bar height stools) and cute interior with plants and artwork. There were a decent amount of people upstairs and I felt noise level was still low where I could take a work call if needed. The latte was great. The spinach feta danish was a good combination, a nice savory morning treat.

I'm obsesssssed with this place! They did so well decorating, adding greenery, and just overall atmosphere here is so inviting. We had a lovely Saturday morning checking this place out. Great fall coffee flavors and pastries (from a local new bakery) that I'll surely be back! Lots of space for working and just hanging out - their upstairs is insane!

Remember to get here as soon as you can if you want some seating, when we went around 10:45am on a Saturday it was already jam packed!! The upstairs was also closed that day so that definitely made seating very limited. Did appreciate all the different kinds of seating though. Couches, chairs, benches! Service was so quick despite them being very busy which was very appreciated. The food, delicious! We tried the BLT and it was so satisfying!!! Had it on a sourdough and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back!!

We went twice in one week, both times place was packed. Like a line to order but still manage to find seats each time. Big place many seats between two floors. Love the decor with plants and artworks. Felt open and comfortable, can be loud though. First time I ordered ginger bread latte, it was delicious. Second time I order the signature 4oz with salt on top. The last sip all the salt felt on the bottom with the foam, it was super salty, so anyone like a salty drink this is an interesting try. Both time we got cheese bacon Danish, they were Okay.

This place is gorgeous, cozy, full of plants, and so inviting. The ambient is nice and quiet. The views are great, and the coffee is so tasty. I had the vanilla latte and the caramel mocha, both were delicious. Definitely check out this new spot out!

This location has a nice looking facade, red brick with black awnings. Several healthy looking plants standing guard at the front vestibule. Inside there is a large center table, and some counter spots along the front window. Lots of items and merchandise to look at while you wait your turn. Came with a friend, and it didn't take us long to get to the cashier. Lots of choices on both the food and drink menu. Cookies, muffins, biscotti, and power bars if you are looking for some bakery. Breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and other breakfast items as well. Got my London Fog Tea Latte (a little lavender, a little vanilla, and extra foam), in a nice 12 oz mug. They told me it would be several minutes to steep the Earl Grey Tea, which I always take as a good sign that they know what they are doing :) Inside, there weren't any spots for two people to have a quiet or private conversation, so we had to go outside. Then there was the busy street, with traffic noise. The drinks and service were all very good. Unfortunately, the seating options are not a good fit for my coffee shop routine.

It's a corner lot with an ample-sized parking lot. It has an urban chic design on the outside, with a patio out front. You can enter through the front by the patio or the side parking lot. Came here Monday morning. There were already people relaxing at small tables or working on laptops. There are large windows that help bring in lots of natural light. Several different areas to sit at, depending on your need for quiet or a larger table. The order counter is up front, with lots of space for menus, bakery cases, and merchandise. The entire space has the typical upscale yet relaxed feel that you find at their other locations. Everything was neat, well organized, and clean. Got a friendly greeting from the staff member. When I ordered my usual London Fog Tea Latte, I was immediately asked if I was looking for a Lavender London Fog, which I was. Added my usual instructions for a little vanilla, extra foam, and in a ceramic mug. They then even asked what shape mug I was looking for. That is the first time that I was offered a choice. Just another little tweak to make the experience better. I picked the latte cup (as opposed to the coffee one). (Thanks, Austin!) They usually carry a nice selection of bakery, and on this day they had the addition of a Sweet Potato Pecan Scone. So of course I had to try that. They took time to properly steep the tea and did a nice job with the foam. The flavor and the texture were delicious. It was creamy all the way to the last sip. The temperature could have been a bit hotter. (It measured 123F, and my preference is 135-145F.) The scone was good but not great. The flavors were excellent. However, it was much denser than I prefer, and the maple glaze was actually brittle. Glad I tried it but wouldn't order it in the future. Another very good Stone Creek experience. With a couple of tweaks, it would have been perfect. Would definitely stop again.
