I have been to several other Stone Creek Coffee locations, but this was my first time at this one. It's on a busy street near the center of the Wauwatosa Village. It's a corner lot with an ample-sized parking lot. It has an urban chic design on the outside, with a patio out front. You can enter through the front by the patio or the side parking lot. Came here Monday morning. There were already people relaxing at small tables or working on laptops. There are large windows that help bring in lots of natural light. Several different areas to sit at, depending on your need for quiet or a larger table. The order counter is up front, with lots of space for menus, bakery cases, and merchandise. The entire space has the typical upscale yet relaxed feel that you find at their other locations. Everything was neat, well organized, and clean. Got a friendly greeting from the staff member. When I ordered my usual London Fog Tea Latte, I was immediately asked if I was looking for a Lavender London Fog, which I was. Added my usual instructions for a little vanilla, extra foam, and in a ceramic mug. They then even asked what shape mug I was looking for. That is the first time that I was offered a choice. Just another little tweak to make the experience better. I picked the latte cup (as opposed to the coffee one). (Thanks, Austin!) They usually carry a nice selection of bakery, and on this day they had the addition of a Sweet Potato Pecan Scone. So of course I had to try that. They took time to properly steep the tea and did a nice job with the foam. The flavor and the texture were delicious. It was creamy all the way to the last sip. The temperature could have been a bit hotter. (It measured 123F, and my preference is 135-145F.) The scone was good but not great. The flavors were excellent. However, it was much denser than I prefer, and the maple glaze was actually brittle. Glad I tried it but wouldn't order it in the future. Another very good Stone Creek experience. With a couple of tweaks, it would have been perfect. Would definitely stop again. read more

okay i've gone to a couple different locations and i love love love their coffee and what they stand for as a business. this spot had a lot of nice seating and was super chill. this time i decided to get a matcha latte with almond milk. at first glance the matcha isn't super fresh and green, and it's also not super mixed in - there were chunks of matcha in there. for the quality and price of $7 i would not say it's worth it. overall i would say the matcha was just okay, but would go back for coffee anytime! read more

Considering the amount of space, it was very crowded which is a good indicator. That and I was able to find out the Wi-Fi password by asking a guest by surprise it matched the style of the place clothing as well as a lid. And sadly I couldn't find the toppers. This is my favorite coffee place! I usually get a sugar free vanilla iced latte. I think this latte tastes delicious!! I've gotten some for others too and they loved it. It's hard for me to find fun sugar free flavors at some shops so I like knowing this place has one option for me. While their nutrition info is online so anyone needing to track intake (diabetic, diet, metabolic needs, etc) can account for everything in their coffee I prefer to go sugar free when I can due to lessening my post caffeine crashes. It would taste best with oat, or regular milk. Almond / soy is lower calorie so I usually order with that though I definitely taste the difference. Oat is for pick me up days, which is often. I love the set up of the shop too. They sell the cutest stuff. read more

Don't recommend getting the V60. You'll spend more and honestly not worth it. Very hit or miss on if the employees can make a good pour over. I recently got the reserve roast (+$2). Ended up paying $6 for a flavorless, cold pour over. Just stick to an americano or drip coffee. As I look back, I'm regularly disappointed with the V60 as they're almost always cold, even when brewed correctly. read more

I never left a review for Stone Creek on Harwood because I come here so often that I lost count of my visits. This is probably the best off-campus coffee study spot that's not in downtown. There is plenty of seating with SO MANY OUTLETS (bless because my laptop is unusable without plugging it in). I have nothing but good things to say about this place: the lattes (literally every flavor is on point), the ham and cheese pastries, the monkey bread, the baristas, the service, the ambiance, and my list can go on and on. My go-to this season has been the large hot pumpkin spice latte with 15g of syrup and the cup is perfection. I also enjoy their brewed mug coffee (with a free refill) from time to time. Stone creek has been there for me through thick and thin, especially on days leading up to my exams, and I (along with all my friends) will forever be grateful for its support. I can't wait to go back in the new year. It's literally what makes me want to continue studying. read more

I feel very lucky that there's such an abundance of coffee houses on this side of town because that's severely lacking in some of the other suburbs around Milwaukee. The one issue they all seem to have though is parking lots that are difficult to get into. But really that's the only issue I have with this Stone Creek location. Once you're inside there's plenty of seating and even more seating outside. They always have a wide collection of coffee available as well as some bakery and even other merchandise available for purchase. There's never a super long wait at this location which is nice, especially since the hospital is just up the road. I love that there's a wide variety of bagged coffee available as well and they'll grind it right there for you however you want if you don't have your own grinder at home.  All in all this is a great location with some of my favorite coffee in Milwaukee! read more

Ultra modern with a bit of an industrial vibe, this new(ish) Stone Creek Coffee locale brings it on all fronts. I'm a big fan of Stone Creek's coffee offerings. Their espresso is strong and smooth. My favorite espresso drink of theirs is their Mexican Mocha. Made with spiced Mexican chocolate, it's warm and cozy comfort in a cup. This location has a fun assortment of Stone Creek coffee themed retail items for sale (scarves, snow hats, etc). The service is top notch (ie: quick while not sacrificing friendliness) and their prices are about average. The space is encompassed by large windows with low tables/bars aligned. So, definitely a nice spot to work with outdoor views. There's also plenty of tables to enjoy coffee with friends. Many of the tables are communal and the space is somewhat echo-y, so not sure I would recommend for business meetings. But, other than that one, small caveat? Super fandom. Get to it! read more

Perfect spot to study/work/relax for a bit. The inside is clean and spacious with plenty of seating to choose from. They had a nice variety of baked goods and savory pastries that looked delicious although I did not get to try them this time around. I sat outside with my pup on their patio area which had several communal tables, but only a few of had umbrellas for shade. It was a lovely space except that this location is right by the street at an intersection so it was a little noisier than I would have liked because of that. Agree with others that the parking lot is a little difficult to get into but it's a a nice benefit to have once you actually get in. read more

Just a hint of caramel. Outside seating was lovely and extremely convenient. I had the pleasure of drinking my coffee while watching a dog frolic in the adjacent cycling establishment. Stone Creek is a solid fave MKE coffee spot for me! The baristas are friendly and well-trained--they have some of the most consistently made beverages for a local chain which I think is important. They also don't make their drinks scalding hot (aka the correct way lol)! They make my favorite chai latte and Mexican hot chocolate. They used to have my favorite bakery, but this past year I found the quality wasn't always there (minus a star for me). I do enjoy their cookies, some of their pastries and they have AMAZING yogurt/chia/granola parfaits. They also setup each cafe in a way that is trendy and inviting. I'm on the fence with this location, but for now am not lowering my rating because of it. The parking lot is cramped and hard to get in/out of and the fitness space next door's music is SO loud that the bass thumps into Stone Creek. But they have a cute kids area and I love the new wallpaper on the partial wall that separates a seating area from the restrooms--its sooo cool! read more

I live right next door to stone creek so it's my go to when I want a quick drink that's a little fancier than what I make at home. I'm not a coffee person so I judge coffee shops by tea, atmosphere and food. The workers are always very friendly and nice and the space is nice. I work from home so if I need a change of pace the patio is a great place to work. I love the big windows that let in all the light. My go-to drink is a London fog. My biggest complaint here is that the tea bag is huge! It could probably make like 5 cups of tea so it can be a bit overkill in a single drink turning it bitter too fast. I also wish they had more food offerings but when I've had the pumpkin bread it was pretty good. The convenience means I'll return but it's not my favorite Milwaukee coffee spot. read more

My go-to coffee shop in the area. Although the seating is a little limited, the fact that they play 88.9 and have bomb bakery makes up for it. I always order a honey lavender latte for drinks and am a sucker for their Asiago bagel with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese or their morning bun. It's a sad morning. I went to grab my Milwaukee Blend coffee to notice that the beans weren't ground. Then I thought I entered my order wrong on the app. Nope. I entered it correctly. I thought I was weird when I picked up my coffee because it wasn't in a bad, I didn't receive my coffee coupon and there was no receipt. But the two employees working said hi to me and one of them even punched my card. Now I have no coffee this morning. I would say I'm going to Colectivo but I can't because I don't like their coffee. I come to this location 3-4 times a week to get early morning emails done with a cup of coffee. The coffee is great and $2 for a mug with refills is soooo worth it!
