The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, I asked about the baby back ribs and was told that this was one of the chef's specialties. They were okay, however, not good enough for me to recommend. (Three Stars at best). I did like the crock of French Onion Soup with a pretzel roll. Quite tasty and a winner for flavor. (four and 1/2 stars). The cheesy potatoes were dry and smothered with corn flakes. Ugh.... (Two Stars). I liked the garlic toast. The wife ordered the Philly Burger on a Gluten Free bun. She thought the bun was very good, but the burger was overcooked, a bit dry and lacked flavor. In hindsight, she said that she should have told the waiter she wanted it cooked "medium" She loved the coleslaw. Overall, The Flip Side seems like a good restaurant that does a great job serving and supporting the local community. We noticed kid's from the nearby high school drinking sodas and enjoying each other's company. Great Ambiance - Lots of light and comfortable I'm guessing that Flip Side is better for breakfast than lunch or dinner. Although not crowded on this late winter afternoon, we did notice that all the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Friendly, knew the menu well, had good timing on refilling our ice teas and responded to our requests quickly. We ordered a lunch, chicken broccoli alfredo, which came with soup (homemade cream of mushroom), and a hungry man's breakfast. Both were delicious and generous portions. The whole restaurant was clean, with updated booths and tables. There was also a cute bar as you walked in, and we saw that they serve Bloody Mary's, mimosas, and mules (also have flights). Wish this place was closer to us so we could go back to try other menu items and it is in the return to list.

Plenty of parking in the dedicated lot outside! Now, for a cafe named GoodDay, the interior is a bit of a drab...gray walls, monochromatic artwork, and corrugated steel accents allude to Farmhouse chic, but miss the mark. I'd love to see them liven up the space a bit! Service was overwhelmed during our visit, which I never fault the servers themselves, but do think the business could have staffed better on a Saturday brunch rush. It took a long time to receive water and get our orders placed, while the food came out quite quickly once we did order. The food itself was great! The skillet ACTUALLY came served in a skillet, which is a must for me! Sizeable portion of steak, veggies, and cheese atop chopped red potatoes! I'd absolutely order again!

Very energized vibe of contented conversing diners. My cup of beef mushroom soup exceeded expectations - flavorful consome packed to the gills with beef and mushrooms. No corners were cut there. And the peach BBQ pork sandwich on a soft pretzel bun went down very smoothly chased by an Oskar Blues Old Chub. At just $2 the brandied pickled jalapenos were a bargain. We always hit this place when visiting the MOWA and are wowed every time. If you're ever near, eat here.

We stopped in on a Saturday for brunch and had a wonderful experience. You order/pay at the counter and staff brings you your food/beverages. I spilt the French toast and the crab cake Benedict with my husband and both were delicious! We had bloody Mary's, which are very vegetable forward with their own pickled veggies. There was an error on my meal and the staff were super quick to correct and offer a bakery item on the house, which was so nice and refreshing to see great hospitality without prompt. We ended up ordering dessert afterwards and WOW you must get the crème brûlée with raspberry! I've never had anything like it. SO SO good! They have a variety of seating options inside and some dining tables outside as well. Note as of this post they are not open on Sundays.

I opted for the marina view with a black cup of coffee. They have a large variety of options between breakfast and lunch. I was able to customize my own coffee with milk and flavors of my choosing which I appreciated. With the outdoor seating I chose to enjoy the beautiful Saturday morning with the marina in the background and read some of my book between sips of coffee, and bites of crepes. I hope to head back north again soon, and will ensure that there is a stop here for breakfast as it is the perfect spot to begin the morning at.

Just pages and pages of dishes to choose from, it took like 15 minutes for us to decide what we wanted to eat. Both ended up being about $26 with tax and tip, which is pretty reasonable for how much food there was. Service was friendly and efficient. Our waitress gave us some entree recommendations and came by pretty frequently to refill our coffee. Highly recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area.
