Best donuts I've had since moving back to Wisconsin! We ordered for pick up in Port Washington and it was awesome (the store to pick up from, Locally Inspired, is amazing too - definitely plan for extra time to shop around). The donuts were delicious. Every one a fun unique flavor and so amazing. My favorite was the carrot cake, but they all were scrumptious.

Excellent Doughnuts! The core flavors of Cereal Milk, Vanilla Sprinkle, strawberry shortcake, s'more, & maple french toast are delicious! I have not tried the lemon cheesecake, but am confident it's just as delicious as the others! Each month Sunday Dough has two monthly flavors in May of 2024 the flavors are key lime & lavender vanilla. The website is excellent for seeing and reading about the doughnuts. Plus has a great ordering ahead feature! Going early/close to when they open or ordering ahead is the way to go! The shop is pink and on the corner, making it easy to spot. The inside is clean, bright and fun! With a few table for dining and a wall to pickup preorders.

We saw this place from a WI influencer's IG and included it in our Sheboygan weekend getaway. Perhaps our expectations were too high since my husband is a donut fanatic as we travel to LA, NYC, Chicago, etc for these yummy treats. Stopped by on a Friday around noon and the bakery is inside a house with a small sign by the door steps. Parked on the street and first impression was a clean shop upon entering. There are several white tables and chairs on the right amd 2 bathrooms inside. There was a party of 5 ordering and we saw 2 donut sizes: small for $2 and regular for $4. Definitely got some unique flavors and they also have flavors of the month. As we wanted to try several flavors, we opted for small ones. Maple syrup, cereal milk, chocolate malt, lemon cheesecake and dole boxed in a pink box with Sunday Dough stamped on the box for $10. The flavors were very subtle. Didn't taste any lemon or pineapple in the icing. The donuts were dry and not fluffy. Essentially, just icing on plain yeast donuts. Glad we tried. When it's $2 for a small donut, we were expecting higher quality. We also stopped by another bakery starting with letter J down the street where their donuts are better quality (fluffy) and very reasonable prices.

Both of the sandwiches were good, but the bread they were served on was the real winner. Also had some type of potato soup that was only okay. Had to try a couple of desserts too! Both were pretty good, my favorite was some type of bread with strawberries. Don't remember the name, but it was a very unique banana breadlike dessert, only made with strawberries. Very cool vibes in the restaurant, surfer themed! Outdoor seating on the river is nice too.

This place was recommended, so we decided to give it a try on a cold Saturday morning. Food: We ordered a couple of lattes and some breakfast. For drinks, it was one Vanilla Latte and one London Fog Tea Latte. We asked for mugs, but they were served in glasses instead. Not quite the same, but acceptable. Both drinks were made well, with good texture, nice flavor, and the right temperature. For food, we ordered one Veggie Quiche and a piece of Spanakopita. After they were reheated properly (see Service below), both were very good. I had the Spanakopita, and it was loaded with spinach and feta. The dough-to-filling ratio was excellent. The flavors were rich and complex. The portion size was large, larger than my appetite, but I somehow managed to keep working on it until I was completely stuffed. Service: The service around the food was disappointing. Even though we were clearly dining in, our order was marked as takeout. This created a number of issues. When the food arrived in takeout containers, I mentioned that we were eating inside (especially obvious since our drinks were in glasses). The server simply shrugged and said, "Oh well, they are marked as takeout." I went to the counter and asked for plates and that the food be brought to the proper temperature. It took a while, but they eventually returned with the food reheated, served on plates, and replaced the plastic utensils with metal ones. There was very little acknowledgment that a mistake had been made, and no real apology for the delays. Atmosphere: The place is rustic and right on the water. It reminded me of a fish shanty, in a charming way. There are a couple of different rooms for seating, and we chose one in the back that was quieter. I liked the authentic feel of it. However, there were some areas with old furniture piled up for storage, which took away a bit from the overall look. They also have an outdoor patio that overlooks the river, which would be a lovely spot to sit on a warm day. We would go back. If we ordered food again, I would just make sure they clearly understood from the start that we were dining in so the details were handled correctly.
