Came here after looking on Yelp for good sandwich shops in Sheboygan. Ultimately ended up choosing Arrosto's because their sandwiches looked full and they have a lot of great options. I got a full Carson Sandwich (a staff favorite) and my boyfriend got a full Cadee sandwich (also a staff favorite). With 2 bags of chips our order came out to $28 and some change. A little on the expensive side but we were completely satisfied as our sandwiches were hot, fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean on the inside .The staff are nice and friendly and I was served right away. The wait time was about 15min. Overall would recommend this place! read more

A deli shop that is simply delish! It's sun filled room has the slightest pale of smoke From the busy panini machines! Just awesome! Caveat: don't be in a rush as the food is all freshly made. It is not served in a "New York minute" like a fast food restaurant so set your expectations accordingly. The food is all worth the wait tho! :-) The staff were friendly & welcoming and busy cleaning when not food prepping so the place is lovely & clean! We 4 ordered 4 different sandwiches and we all thought each of ours was the best. They have a nice selection of coffee and macaroons. Best part? Arrosto Deli is such a great addition to the Sheboygan food scene! They offer high quality sandwiches with generous portion sizes. I love that every part of the sandwich is handmade, down to the bread. Every time I go, I receive great customer service and my order always comes out perfectly. Cute small place that had about 6-7 sandwich suggestions on the board. You can also create your own sandwich. Definitely try and split a sandwich with someone as they are big! Love the paninis and grain bowls. Their focaccia bread is really good. I also like their chip and drink selection. In the fall they had a delicious soup- veggies, potato and bacon? It was a winner! Don't love the desserts for some reason. Have tried the tiramisu, cheese cake and cannoli but none of them were worth the calories to me. I'd rather have more focaccia. I'm not a Sheboygan-er (Sheboyganite?), so I did a quick Yelp search to find a place that could accommodate a diabetic carnivore, a gluten-intolerant vegetarian, and a vegan. Lots of options, especially with the build-your-own salad and sandwich choices. Food was really good, and my sandwich was so filling that I saved half for lunch the next day. And it wasn't even soggy! If I lived in town, I'd probably be a regular. My only complaint is that our order took a lot longer than I expected (over 10 minutes), and we were the only ones with an order in--just two sandwiches and a salad to go. When I first saw the ad for this restaurant, I was excited about eating there since it's supposed to be a New York deli. It has been a long time since I visited New York Deli, and I miss those incredible sandwiches. Ok, that said, this restaurant is disappointing; I guess it's "good enough" for a Sheboygan. Arrosto does have that New York "deli" look, and its interior is very appealing. I wish the sandwiches lived up to the atmosphere. So, let us talk about my order; I had the roast beef sandwich. The beef was not cooked with any seasoning, and the texture was rubbery. I don't know any roast beef recipe that doesn't season the beef; for heaven's sake, use a little salt and pepper. The garlic herb aioli that came with the sandwich was just plain lousy mayo with parsley, which added no flavor to the overall sandwich. Even the cheap "deli" mustard was disappointing and added no real flavor to the sandwich. Come on, you are supposed to be a New York deli; buy some decent mustards. The only saving grace of this sandwich was the fresh bread, which was exceptional. Unfortunately, even the delicious bread could not save the sandwich from being plain bland. I also ordered the chicken sandwich, which suffered from the same thing as its beef counterpart. Once again, the bread was fantastic, but everything else was plain bland. Once again, try cooking with some salt and pepper, and your meats will have some flavor. I wonder if this place should be a bakery and skip the whole New York style sandwich concept. Oh, one more thing: what kind of New York deli doesn't have pastrami, corn beef or tuna? It's sad when Panera Bread makes better sandwiches at a better price than a self-proclaimed New York deli. Remember that Arrosto is in Sheboygan so most people will settle for an overpriced bland sandwich. read more

Was shocked at how blah this was. Sandwiches were so dry and so minimal on the toppings. We had a Thanksgiving sounding one and it was the finest little speck of cranberry, no stuffing, and just a heap of dry turkey. Tried 3 sandwiches and all of them had the same issue. LOVE THIS PLACE! We have gotten sandwiches from this place probably 10 times already. Every time the sandwiches are huge and amazing. Love that they have a feature sandwich of the week that usually incorporates ingredients they don't normally have on the menu. I also love that they've been slowly over time adding side dishes and desserts etc. to the menu. Keep it up! Really bad. I'm not sure what NY deli this place thinks it's mimicking. Even a bodega in Poughkeepsie, near the metro North station, selling Boars Head and cooking bec on a toaster does a better job. I will accept some level of blame. I didn't understand that every sandwich is a panini. These sandwiches should not be paninis. Unless you are making salami and eggs, no one wants salami or mortadella heated. How about a simple roasted turkey, sliced thin, piled high on a good wheat bread. Lightly toasted with crisp lettuce and tomato. You want to make a sandwich with salami, mortadella and provolone? Okay, but don't stick it in a panini press. Use the focaccia or a ciabatta or a hard roll. They bake them right across the street. I'm not really interested in picking apart every misstep. The bottom line is, it's not a NY Italian deli. It might work in Sheboygan, WI, but this show couldn't travel. read more

Excellent food! We two 9 inch sandwiches on the focaccia bread, and it fed two adults and two children. One was roast beef and cheddar and the other was turkey and provolone. The best part of Sheboygan! Food is delicious and large portions. The paninis are to die far as are the bowls- they also have really incredible dill pickles. I had Teddy's Sandwich, which is their focaccia with mortadella and salami, provolone, artichoke hearts, spinach, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The bread was some of the best I ever had -- a delicious sour dough with a great consistency to soak in the vinegar and oil. The meats paired perfectly together and were out-of-this-world in flavor. I had a 9" focaccia with roast chicken, swiss, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts and the house made spicy giardiniera and herb mayo.
