    Filling salads

We enjoyed lunch at the Weather Cafe on the Sunday during Labor Day weekend. It was pretty busy and the wait time was pretty long (20 mins or more). Not sure if that is the norm or if it was because it was a holiday weekend and many other businesses were closed. We all enjoyed our meals. I especially liked the chicken curry wrap. You could tell all the food is made fresh. They have tables inside and outside. There are tables outside by the canal and some around the side of the building. We picked a table outside on the side, but a bee kept on trying to land on my sister's smoothie so we ended up eating and running.

I recently visited here with my dad for lunch. The space is a rustic fishing shack with little superfluous decor. There are two interior dining rooms and external patio seating. The menu provides options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. On the day we went we entered during a lull and shortly after we ordered they got a big line of people. Alas, this made for exceedingly slow food delivery for two sandwiches and some nachos. The food did taste great, however.

Entrance is down the walkway to your left.

Service was quick. We went during COVID and employees were not wearing masks but seating is reatricted to outside only. I understand we're all in different places in staying safe, but as a business, you should cater to all customers and error on the side of safety. The food menu is limited. No kids menu and nothing really for a typical kid to eat. As a result my kids went down to Parker Johns and I are at The Weather Center. After reading reviews and browsing the menu, I ordered the full salad for $10. I was expecting to be wow'd but instead was left feeling ho-hum...nothing special about the salad and a little jipped on how much I paid for it.

Good amount of vegan food options. A bit of an eclectic vibe exists (in a good way). OK outside seating options. More 'rustic', less inviting on the inside. A bit of a hidden, near miss location and somewhat limited opening hours. But defiantly worth a visit.

Very nice cafe and sandwich shop in an awesome location on the river. I almost gave it a fourth star just for the nice ambience. It has a retro fishing port shanty decor to it. Nice seating area along the docks in front. Fresh and tasty food. Ordering is done at the counter and then you find yourself a table. Very pleasant service, large portions (I should only have ordered a half sandwich), and delicious food.

    Yep. That's their iced mocha!

Came here during a day trip adventure for a little waterfront lunch. They have a quirky, fun ambiance inside and a beautiful waterfront patio with outdoor seating outside. It's an order at the counter and they'll bring your meal to you sort of set up. I ordered the Noreaster, which is a sandwich that consists of turkey, tomato, red onion, greens, and bleu cheese. It sounded dynamite. But, in reality was a solid a-ok. The star of the show, however, are their espresso drinks. I got an iced mocha. It was rich, whipped cream topped indulgence in a glass. I loved every sip. I waffled between 3 and 4 stars on this one. But, the patio (picturesque), mocha, and friendly service demanded fandom. Get to it!

The NorEaster. Was not pleased, bread was hard, very limited turkey. Coffee, bakery and atmosphere was nice!

Nice atmosphere, good coffee and bakery choices. Would not recommend a sandwhich, NorEaster was plain.

Have the tuna salad you won't regret it. It was so much food the sandwich was so large I had to split up between lunch and dinner. And it was delicious both times. I would definitely get this sandwich again.

Amazing place with a soul. Seating indoor is rustic but friendly and original. Outdoor seating along the river on the boardwalk is amazing when it's sunny and not too windy. The coffee drinks are rich and done with care with a classic percolator espresso machine. The smoothies are made to order with real fruits and taste like at home, and the pastries are generous in size and the best in town! (Muffins are just amazing: Salted-Caramel, Expresso-Chocolat, and the classic Blueberry). For a quick bite at lunch, the revisited Southwestern Chicken Quesadilla is one of my favorites, with its home-made cumin-flavored sour cream side, that if complemented with a dash of Tapatio Hot Sauce will make everything on the plate so addictive! The place feels like a small-town neighborhood cafe - charming and a bit quirky - where locals often meet to chat about anything and everything. The proud and complete opposite of your ubiquitous corporate coffee powerhouse! A gem!

Atmosphere was sort of weird, like it had just opened. The coffee was amazing and my husband had the best banana shake he'd ever had.

It is unassuming when driving by, but today I stopped and truly, the interaction made my whole day. I asked for an iced mocha and Travis acknowledged it being my first visit & offered up their special drinks of the month. I appreciate service that digs a little deeper & expresses sense of humor. After mentioning all the wonderful reviews being the reason I stopped, he welcomed me inside to have a breakfast sandwich. The ambiance is very cozy, people were playing cards, music was on, it was clean and welcoming. My food was both generous & delicious, coffee was perfect - excited to go back for their specials. I brought it all down to the lakefront and a few people stopped to ask where I scored such a great breakfast. 100% worth the visit. Negative reviews seem to be pandemic related, or folks that don't experience sarcastic humor very often.

You immediately see the large case of cookies, and then donuts. Great selection with some fun topping choices like butterfinger and fruity pebbles. The employee who helped me was very nice. I think she knew I hadn't been there before because trying to decide a selection of a dozen donuts was difficult (in a good way!), so I decided to just let her pick a random selection for me. Got an iced caramel macchiato for myself which was very good. I didn't realize that they had a case of assorted cakes that I could have got for my coworkers birthday after I had already bought the donuts. This is in no way the fault of the shop because it's literally across from the donut case. I just didn't notice because it's a lot to take in! Anyway, will definitely return. The only critique I have is that you cannot add a tip if you're paying with a card. I never carry cash so I felt really bad that I couldn't tip the lady that helped me. They should change that somehow. Other than that, great place!
