They are a Tosa staple and our go-to. We typically do pick up and they always give an accurate estimate of timing and it's ready every single time when we show up to pick up. After a large wood fire pizza and an order of some of the best garlic bread we have ever had, we are sold!! We ordered on a Friday night and pick up was 30 minutes. This is our go-to pizzaria in the midtown-Tosa area. They've been in business for years and have a great reputation in the neighborhood. There's no indoor seating, but if you like, you can have your pizza at outdoor tables on North Avenue or next door at Club Tap and enjoy a drink or two with your meal. We were pleasantly surprised with Lalli's. We have lived in Tosa for years and always drove past but only recently thought to try it out. We are so happy we did! They have coupons on their website for a few bucks off and their pricing is comparable to more authentic pizza places. We got a large 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage (total of 1 topping which not all places do) and the sausage was the showstopper. We ordered takeout and the order was ready in the estimated time and nice and hot. The leftovers were awesome in our air fryer. True test of pizza. We can't wait to go back and try more! read more

We moved from Tosa a couple of years ago and Lallis is one of the things I miss the most. I love the crust, chewy without being like bread. The sauce has a great flavor. I'm happy they started taking credit cards. This is our Wednesday before Thanksgiving tradition. The only disappointment this year was that they messed up the toppings on one of our pies which was supposed to be vegetarian. They put meat on the whole thing. I started grabbing za to go prior to COVID-19 and also during. Prior to, I enjoyed the ease of ordering and the pick-up method which was always a breeze for me. The pizza, itself, was tasty--a great not-too-thick crust with ample flavor and toppings (my go-to is typically SMO, FYI). Staff was always friendly and attentive. During COVID, the curbside/pick-up ordering process has been very smooth, with similar order and prep times. As for the pick-up, I greatly appreciate their approach to ensuring both their safety and that of their customers. I never thought I'd be writing a review that incorporates something like COVID but, it's our reality and also the reality that some businesses are handling this with more care and attention than others. Used to LOve this place! Lately pizza is soggy, mushroom taste old and unwashed. Plus the girl Courtney who u have answering the phone and taking orders just lost you business. Lalli's has the best pizza in my area. My issue is my address shows up on their delivery map, but they won't deliver because it's a block away from their area. I tried to compromise with them but they said their older driver won't allow me to deliver to the next corner for delivery and give me a call. I'm happy to pay in advance, tip well and make the two second walk. I ended up picking up last week and had to wait around 45 minutes because they just put my order in after I was there and had arrived on time to pickup. Another awesome experience last night. Every Saturday is my fiancé's "cheat night" so once again we decided on Lalli's Pizza. It was made perfectly. It's been a couple of times when we ordered extra cheese, but it didn't seem like there was enough. For the BEST experience grab a pizza on the weekend. That's where I find it too be perfect. Since I can't order green olives I just wait for the pizza to get here/or until we pick it up and get home then I add my own olives. They used to be good. I ordered a pizza and salad on 9/8/23. The pizza was not baked all the way. The crust was doughy. I also ordered a big salad which was obviously prepared hours earlier. I live in the Pasadena neighborhood , where Lalli's is located; for over 25 years. We order there about once every 2 months and it has been a disaster for the last couple of years - wrong orders, under cooked, employees who just didn't care. I was ready to give up but ordered tonight (Wed) and it was a great experience. I know they are short employees but order taker over the phone was pleasant and double checked the order. Pizza had the correct ingredients and was cooked to perfection! Due to staff shortages they have limited their menu- my suggestion is keep the limited menu and continue to make a great pizza, efficiently! read more
