Placed an order by phone, went to pick it up and they refused to honor my gift certificate. It had been a donation for teacher appreciation last year at a nearby school where my wife works. They said because ownership had changed since then, they would not accept it. This is after they had already made the food! Rather than take the opportunity to honor a donation from the prior owner, hand us our food order and likely see us return again as customers, they chose to instead dispose of the perfectly good food and lose our business forever. So Klasiana Pizza would rather waste two entire calzones than donate that same $25 worth of food to the educator who received the gift certificate donation. Also, whoever made this penurious decision refused to come out from the back office, instead delegating the teenaged employee to impart their message of denial after she went back to ask them about the gift certificate. Solid pizza. I order from them at least once a month and they never disappoint. Flavorful, large menu and the classic mom and pop shop feel that is missing from most pizza places. We order delivery pretty much once a week from here. As far as I know they are still just doing delivery and takeout. I have had several different items: lasagna, pizza and fettuccini, but I like the spaghetti with meatballs the best. Everything I have had has been good. The portions are generous and I get two meals out of an order of spaghetti with meatballs. The pasta dishes come with two big slices of garlic bread. I would say the only main drawback is delivery takes close to an hour usually, but they do quote that time frame when you call to order. Just plan accordingly. We did a carry out order from this Italian restaurant on a Friday night. Simple to look at the online menus with all options no prices to verify costs. There is no indoor or outdoor seating in this Greendale strip mall restaurant, only carry out or delivery. I ordered a cassa tortellini duo, with red and white sauce dividing the two flavors. With two chopped salads with dressing and a small loaf of garlic buttered bread, it was large enough for two people and a leftover the next day. I was in this strip mall in the 5 pm hour so I saw this place and I thought that I would check it out and grab some dinner take out. I jumped on Yelp and saw 4 stars so I went in. As you can see by my walk up picture the time stamp is 5:10 pm and I left the parking lot at 5:50 to head home. When I walked in I asked for a minute to look at the menu and at 5:21 the young woman finally came out and only to answer the phone and took my order, 11 minutes after I walked in. At 5:47 my sandwich finally came out WTF, 37 minutes for a fuc#%ig sandwich. Call me unreasonable but 37 minutes for a carry out sandwich is totally going to drag down the stars here, I'm very objective and understanding with my reviews but today I have to honestly take stars away. In all honestly the place smelled amazing and I felt like even with the long wait that I was going to like the food. Ok after all my bitching about the service lets get on with the review. The place is in a strip mall and is very small with four tables, light wood and grape vines over the register. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich which I almost never order but it sounded good, 37 minutes mind you. Visually it looked big and good but I had it on garlic bread which I felt would take it to the next level. This was a tasty sandwich and I can't really say anything bad about it. The bread was very fresh and held up nicely to the chick parm with the red sauce and melty cheese. The sauce was not bad at all and played well with the all white meat breaded chicken breast and real melty mozzarella cheese on the fresh garlic bread. For what a chicken Parmesan sandwich is I found it to be a nice example and enjoyed it, I might go back for a pizza just to check out. Overall my service and wait time for a freaking sandwich sucked but I did enjoy what I ordered and I would order it again, it was a really good sandwich but you just have to call ahead and not walk into expecting fast food, therefor just three stars when they could be more but I'm not going to totally gut stars over it. read more

This place is absolutely garbage! They do not want you to eat in there, they want pickups only! If you stay there too long they start giving you hints and dirty looks that you're not welcome inside! Pretty good pizza for the price, the marinara was excellent, I enjoyed the amount of cheese as well but wasn't crazy about the crust (original crust) maybe next time I'll try the pan crust and see how it is. For the price though it wasn't bad. The breadsticks come with a homemade garlic herb sauce that you pour over top the breadsticks which I really enjoyed. The young man at the counter was extremely polite and so was the chef perhaps also owner it seemed like a family, the pizza was brought directly from the back with a have a nice day. We just moved to Wisconsin last week and tonight we decided to try this restaurant for some pizza and boy o boy are we glad we did. This was hands down the best pizza we have ever had. I don't have a single complaint about it. We had the meat pizza thin crust. The sausage was incredible, Actually all the meat was delish but the Sasuage was amazing. The crust was cooked perfectly which is hard to do for a lot of pizza places. I would have taken a picture to go along with this review but it didn't last long enough to do so. Small, but comfy. Ordered the calzone, and wasn't disappointed. You can choose two pizza toppings to go inside your calzone...I had sausage and bacon (YUM). Not only was the filling yummy....wait a sec... I forgot to mention the CHEESE! They load these things with REAL, stretch the length of your arm, gooey goodness cheese!!! Vegetarian, unique, and delicious toppings! Their meat pizza is very good too, with real Italian meats like prosciutto and hand pinched sausage! All at a competitive price. The service and speed is second to NONE, their delivery staff is awesome, and the owner is a warm friendly family man who is a pleasure to meet. They are on grubhub which is really convenient. We ordered a Chicago style pizza with just sausage (I was in the mood for simple), a Greek salad and some chicken wings. The pizza was pretty tasty, cheesy and bready like a Chicago style should be. It could have been cooked longer, next time I will order well done and see if they do. The sauce was tasty. The price for a small (which we ate off of for like 3 days) was 10.99. It's hard to beat that. The Greek salad was ok. The dressing appeared to be house made. There wasn't a lot for the price...not sure if I would get this one again (but if I'm craving lettuce I might try another salad). The wings were also pretty good. What a waste of fat & calories. If you thinks CiCi's Pizza Buffet is de-lish, then Klasiana might be your new favorite pizza. If you like Ricardo's in Greendale, Maria's on Forest Home, Classic Slice or Transfer in Bay View like I do, you'll probably hate Klasiana Pizza. I should have known it wouldn't be great by the volume of coupon advertising they do - that usually isn't a good sign. But the pizza lover (and the cheap bastard) in me decided to give them a try anyways. The pizza, while not completely inedible, was some of the plainest, most generic tasting restaurant pizza I've had in Milwaukee. The crust was white and flavorless. The cheese thick, chewy and greasy. I can't remember what the sauce was like, so it obviously wasn't anything special. I can now review this place. It has potential to be 4 to 5 stars. The first time here I got the pizza...we will get back to that. On my second visit I got the chicken parmigiana dinner. The good news is that the sauce for both items is GREAT! Hence, the 5 star potential. The garlic bread was quite dry, so room for improvement there. The WORST thing about the pizza is the crust. They may as well take a thin piece of drywall and put the toppings on and cook it. THIS IS THE WORST CRUST I HAVE HAD IN 25 years!! It's a shame as the toppings were very good! I'll keep checking back in case someone mentions a crust improvement, but certainly will NOT order pizza here again, but will get the chicken parmigiana or try something else. read more

"That's impossible". "I can almost guarantee you that's nothing I've ever seen before". Amongst other things. Absolutely awful customer service, they should be ashamed. First time ordering from here, simple 4 topping large pizza. All of the toppings were basically piled in the middle. Asked for it to be cooked well done, but the cheese was barely melted and it was lukewarm at best upon delivery. Very disappointed. Happy to order online to try a new pizza restaurant after rave reviews from friends. Ordered online, waited a good hour, contacted the restaurant to check status and was told that my order was "on it's way" after whoever answered the phone seemed confused and did not seem to know about my order. About 10 minutes later I received a call from the restaurant stating the order was received online but not confirmed by restaurant staff and they would comp me drinks or a dessert. I cancelled all together. Sorry but after waiting over an hour at this point I was not ready to wait most likely another hour. Sad. read more
