MOD is amazing, and have always always always catered to all my simple requests, but the young gentleman that made my pizza today said he "couldn't put more" of a topping on (Chicken) which respectably, was not a lot, and every other employee ever especially at this location and at any other MOD has never told me "it's against policy" to put more of a topping on I even told him he could charge me more and told me no, very strange and unfortunate situation that will probably leave me from returning for a while... very disappointing from a place and company I normally rave about always! MOD offers fast casual style pizza at a reasonable price. They're set up similarly to Chipotle or Subway or (name any of the other countless assemble as you order fast casual restaurant models). This was my first visit to any MOD anywhere. I've always heard so many positive things about MOD and this particular location is so highly rated, that I was surprised I found the experience a bit lackluster. I think it may be one of those situations where you're either a Blaze Fast Fired Pizza person or you're a MOD person (and clearly I'm the former). While I wasn't overly enthused by the pizza (just ok on all fronts for me, from the sauce to the toppings to the crust), I will say this location was sparkling clean and the service was fast and friendly. I am a huge fan of MOD pizza -- you have the ability to build your own pizza with any ingredient combination you want! I especially like the mini pizza as it is a perfect portion. The employees at this location, especially Maddie (I believe) all seem so cheerful, accommodating and like they enjoy their job. I wish I got the name of the girl on the cash register and the guy who was working the grill - their enthusiasm was awesome! My pizza always turns out perfect with a nice crispy crust and it is a fast meal to grab! They have many sauce and topping options as well and they seem fresh to me! This was my second choice for pizza after my first choice was a complete disaster. It's the subway model where they assemble your pizza with what ever toppings you want and no limit at all then it cooks in like 5 minutes so it's fast food pizza. Yah it's fast and hot but it's average and will not replace anyone's favorite pizza place. First off, you need to know that I have loved MOD Pizza since my first pie a few years ago. The ability to make your own pizza allows the customer to make exactly what they want and there are plenty of options. Many of them are quite healthy options. We use the app and have saved orders for when the whole family is getting MOD, family and friends are getting MOD, or just my spouse and I are getting it. At certain points we seemed to be going about three or four times a month. Also, we always loved the vibe at MOD. There's always been quirky, fun, friendly feeling. Knowing the social and restorative justice initiatives of MOD, you feel good supporting the company. However, this last experience has us worried if MOD has "jumped the shark." We came in for 3 MOD size pizzas and a salad. The people in the store did not crack a smile the entire time we were there. They seemed to be avoiding eye contact and had short responses that seemed, as my wife put it, "robotic." Also, they seemed to have an obsession with people staying off the glass counter. We were asked twice about this. The second time, my wife's infraction was looking over the glass. But she couldn't see which pizza the person was putting the drizzle sauces on, so my wife looked over the glass counter to point out which pizza got which sauce. No signage on this, just an unsmiling, cold, "we request that you don't..." statement. MOD Pizza makes really good pizza. They have good salads too. What set them apart was the friendly, fun vibe. I hope today was just a bad day. It would be sad to think that MOD could be just becoming, "another pizza place." That would be sad. read more

The quality of the food and the people at this location are deplorable. Whoever is in charge of this establishment needs to wake up. How can a business be aware of so many issues, yet continuously allows customers to spend their money on absolute garbage. All it takes is 2 minutes to read the recent reviews to know you're likely going to be served literal a*s pizza, if you even get served at all. Ashley, the apparent manager, needs immediate training in proper customer service, especially if you're expecting her to manage the onslaught of problems this location has. My wife and our son visited recently for our first time, and we all absolutely loved it! It was fun to see all of the customizations at your disposal for creating your perfect pizza! There was also a huge board with special creations for you to choose from. On this first visit I decided to try one of the pizzas from the menu, while my wife and son created their own. What I love, is you choose the toppings for your individual pizza. You can get as creative as you like, or get all the "yucky" toppings that are forbidden by your significant other. I came to mod pizza for some pizza, obviously. I got in and no one welcomed me. There were 3 people working and my boyfriend and I waited for at least 2 minutes for some sort of human interaction. One worker was on his phone while putting pizzas in the oven.. that is very dangerous. And there was 2 other customers waiting for their pizza. So only 4 people who wanted pizza. It took 25 minutes! Just for TWO peoples pizza. If anything this restaurant needs some speedy and fast workers. And the best part! The pizzas looked like a toddler made them. I had no words. This was my first time at MOD pizza. The basics, build your own pizza at one price. The standard opinion is an 11-inch pizza, you can choose from a classic menu of 10 pizza combinations or create your own from scratch. For both options you can add or remove toppings for the same price. There are 30 toppings to choose from, go nuts. They also offer a 6-inch Mini or an 11-inch Mega which is double the dough for a thicker crust. There is something for everyone really. In addition to pizza they offer sides like salads and garlic bread. I ordered the 'lucy sunshine' and my mom did a build your own. The pizzas turned out well, crispy and not overly soggy. Both pizzas had a generous amount of toppings. I thought the lucy had a good flavor combination with garlic, artichokes and cheese. I dressed it up a bit by adding red peppers. My mom also enjoyed her build your own with sausage, mushroom and black olives. Overall the experience was fine and the employees were helpful and nice. The reason I am only marking 3 stars is because the restaurant looked like hell. The place closes at 9pm and we were there around 8pm. You could tell they were busy, the pizza toppings were low and the place looked rough. Now we weren't dining in so I guess it doesn't really matter in the end but it was kind of a turn off to see the place in such a disarray. If you closed in an hour and were previously slammed why wouldn't the employees start tidying up? There were garbages overflowing, dishes piling up, and napkins and cups all over. There were two girls standing around folding boxes and they should have been throwing out garbage and grabbing dishes. The pizza cook/cashier seemed harried and apologized for 'slowness' of cooking and then explained how busy they were, etc. He then gave us an extra pizza which was kind but unnecessary. The whole thing was weird. Other than that I will likely return as this is a tasty yet quick pizza option. There are plenty of combinations to try. Hoping they clean it up a bit next time. read more

To begin excellent service !!! We came in around 9:30 it wasn't very busy ( which Is the best ) this was only our second time ever st a mod so we're still experimenting with the pizza options ! Our pizza maker Infinity ( was her name ) was AMAZING very sweet, patient, funny and not light handed at all !! We ordered three pizzas two strawberry shakes and a lemonade! Love this place, always done perfectly. Only one suggestion is to be careful and watch them when they're cutting the pizza. That's the only thing that needs work. Half the time they don't cut it all the way through, maybe sharpen the blade? And dont ask them to cut it in six pieces either, because that seems to confuse them. Had an order today and I must say the pizza is very good. Love the crust and toppings. However unless you want to chase off vampires skip the garlic strips. WAY TOO MUCH GARLIC!!! I stopped in last night close to closing time yesterday. I was assuming I would get dirty looks for cutting it so close to the wire. I apologized and was genuinely told that it was not a worry. David took his time making my pizza and even offered to prep more ingredients that they were low on. (I told him that was not necessary.) Madeline made me 2 awesome Salted Caramel shakes as well without hesitation. While my pizza finished they engaged in small talk to make the wait go faster.
