Absolutely delicious food! And wonderful waitress! We had Italian beef sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. We will definitely be back! read more

I'd never been here before, but a group friends was going out so I met up there. Being that there was pizza in the name of the restaurant I figured it must be pretty good. Keep in mind that serving a group is incredibly hard. I realize that. I arrived and did not see any apparent Server for our table, so went to the bar to get a beverage. I was told immediately "no go back to your table. We have a Server for you". I said well next time I will do that. I paid cash for that drink and then went back to the table. I realize the Server, who was very sweet probably did not know that we were having some very sensitive conversations that were somewhat personal and emotional and in the middle of some of the most important things being said she was very loudly shout out peoples orders as they arrived to the table Maybe my expectation is too high. Two of us decided to share a small 12 inch pizza with just three ingredients on it. I was very hungry so I was pretty excited. The pizza arrived, and my friend only had one piece and said I could have the rest *yikes*. I tasted it and the crust? Well it was very hard and dry. The sauce? I don't know what it was but it's like no sauce I've ever had. I like a good spicy red pizza sauce. This was not that. The toppings were OK. Overall, the pizza was somewhat dry. But it seemed to be a relatively reasonable price. Overall, I should've looked more closely at the menu because our Bill was $44 for the two of us. My friend had added garlic bread onto the order which is fine. They somehow decided that we were also going to have cheese on our garlic bread which added another three dollars. We never asked for cheese. So my half of the pizza and half of the garlic bread came to $22 This included absolutely no beverages. I think the overall the atmosphere is nice and the service is very friendly. However, this is not one of those must have pizzas that I'm going to crave in the future. Very expensive and definitely not what I would consider a delicious pizza. read more

This place has alot of tables and spots at the huge bar. I was told the building is the old Shakeys pizza. We went with 5 people. Four people shared 2 pizzas (lots of leftovers) and one had the garden basil chicken sandwich. Everyone thought the pizza was good. Fresh, plentiful toppings. The garlic bread was average. Garden salad was huge, fresh and delicious. Chicken sandwich was a great, healthier option. Service was a lacking. Chicken sandwich was forgotten about. It was ordered without mushrooms but then came with them on. Sodas weren't refilled, and it wasn't very busy. Still rating 4 stars for the food. read more

Nicos Pizza - Pizza - Burgers Near Me - West Allis, Wisconsin

I did take out but the place looked really nice with some regulars sitting at the bar. The toppings on this pizza are impressive. You can tell they focus on using the best quality ingredients. Toppings go to the edge of the pizza and sausage is plentiful. Mushrooms and onions are so fresh! The crust was really thin but not cracker like but I did take this to go. Sauce had good flavor and wasn't too sweet. Toppings 10 Crust 8 Sauce 9 Value 8 It seems pricey but it's not because this pizza is so filling. Definitely worth a stop. read more

My daughter and I stopped in here for dinner. Unfortunately there is a lot of road construction around the restaurant, but you can get in from the front and partial side street. There were plenty of tables available and our waitress was good. She recommended some drinks and pizzas. We went with half cheese for my daughter and the Catania. The Catania was unique and very good. I would definitely come back and try some of the other pizzas. read more

Pizza was good but we are a deep dish pizza household. We liked the toppings and sauce but just prefer a different style of pizza. If you like a thinner crust I would 100% recommend Nico's read more

First time dining in was great. Second time we ordered pick up and pizza was burned. The sausage on pizza is large and authentic, the cracker crust is great. They are a bit pricey. read more

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and really enjoyed the food at this neighborhood pizza joint. It was sort of quiet on a Saturday at lunch- I think it is more of an evening spot perhaps as it looked like they even had a set up for a live dj. There's all sorts of interesting combinations on the pizza menu but if you are a meat eater, you absolutely must get one with their luscious house made Italian sausage-among the most flavorful that I've ever had and would be reason enough to get me back in there next time I find myself in Milwaukee. Service was friendly but it took a while for the food to arrive, we ordered a large and a medium and that was more than the 5 of us (adults) could eat. Definitely recommended read more

Did not care for the pizza at all the sauce was not good and the pepperoni was so spicy and the only crust they offer is a cracker type thin crust with no flavor at all Gordon Ramsay would be very disappointed. The garlic bread had no flavor either. And their prices are ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for good food that is worth it, but when the food sucks, no thank you was so not worth it - won't be going back there again. read more

Some of the very best pizza in the city here: Perfect, crisp thin crust, excellent sauce, just the right amount of cheese (mozzarella and asiago), and toppings so plentiful and delicious you don't feel like you're just eating carbs. read more

I had this place on my list of places to try as it has been consistently featured on my Milwaukee Foodie group in Facebook. I am SO GLAD I asked friends to meet here--it was awesome food! We sat at a big bar and the bartender was friendly. We got garlic bread with cheese and then two pizzas---I have nothing bad or constructive to say about either--both were so darn good! Great amount of cheese and toppings. The next time I'm in West Allis, I'm absolutely getting pizza here.. read more

Visited Nico's for the first time today. A friend raved about their Oconomowoc location, so I was looking forward to trying them. I bought one of their frozen pizzas at Metcalfe's Market for $16 and was disappointed. Today's experience at their new West Allis location, in the former Crawdaddy's and Shakey's space, was a great experience! I ordered the 12" Classic, which is topped with BIG chunks of Italian Sausage, red onions, and fresh mushrooms, and I added pepperoni. The first thing I noticed was how thick the pizza was with cheese and toppings. Then I picked up a slice and was surprised by how well the crispy, Tavern Cut, slice held the heavy toppings. This was true of the center slices, as well. Super thin crust that doesn't flop or get soft in the center! That speaks to the quality of the ingredients, how well the pizza dough is made, and the temperature of the oven. The pizza tasted great, and I will be back. It may already be in my top 5 favorite thin crust pizzas in Milwaukee. read more

This was our first time at Nico's and we'll definitely be back. Killer pie. The pizza was outstanding. Thin, crispy crust. A well balanced sauce (not too sweet and not too savory--just right). Vinny's sausage is always a win for us, it's the best and the rest of our toppings: pepperoni, onion, black olives- all held their own as well. I have to admit we had a small issue with our order and a staff shift change that was taking place. Totally get it, sometimes these things happen...But you know what? They went out of their way to acknowledge it and make up for it. Honestly, it was so refreshing. Class act. And we will be back to try other things on the menu. There are some buffalo chicken thighs that are just waiting for me. read more

Nicos Pizza - Cheese, sausage, pepperoni with onions and black olives on half - Burgers Near Me - West Allis, Wisconsin

I came back for the intriguing boneless buffalo chicken thighs and an adult cocktail as restaurant of the week and I must stress that they are new in the soft opening phase and because they are very new the full menu is not available but a limited one is on and mainly consist of pizzas. I ordered the spicy Bloody Mary which came in a frosted mug which I just love love with a basic fresh garnish, see my picture. The Bloody Mary was just average but good and not the craft kind but what you usually get around town. The buffalo chicken thighs had a good presentation and clearly not frozen bar food and more like something I would make in my kitchen I noticed. My first bite was yah this isn't frozen crap with a crispy coating and moist dark meat which is definitely different and very good. My only disappointment was the blue cheese dipping sauce because it seemed commercial generic and a chunky version like some places serve would have matched better, don't put all the effort in the chicken and serve a week dipping sauce. read more

This place is just lovely. I went there with my husband and in-laws on a busy Sunday. We were sat immediately, and our server was great. We ordered a 14" cheese pizza, a 14" sausage, pepperoni and onion pizza, some cheesy garlic bread and a basket of fries. Our appetizers came out pretty quickly and were delicious. The pizza came out shortly after we were finished with the appetizers and was also great. The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were great on both pizzas. The pepperoni, sausage and onions were quite large, so don't expect small toppings. The pepperoni was sliced nice and thin as well, which was a perfect compliment to the pizza. All in all, the experience was lovely and we definitely plan to return. read more

First time trying out Nico's Pizza. We haven't been to this location since it was a Shakey's many years ago. The atmosphere was very nice and it was not very crowded for a Friday night. I liked the vibe of this place. Music was at perfect level where you could have a conversation without yelling. Very nice lighting and felt very inviting. Tylissa, our server was very friendly and attentive. I was happy to see that they had multiple 3 Floyds craft beer on tap!! We tried the mozzarella medallions for our appetizer and they were amazing! They were lightly breaded and drizzled with balsamic oil, fresh cherry tomatoes and basil and so delicious! We also had the Classic pizza which was loaded with HUGE pieces of sausage, fresh mushrooms and red onions. The sauce was very tasty and the thin crust was perfectly baked. I think I found my favorite pizza place in Milwaukee. Definitely try this place out for your next date night! read more

I have had many good times in this bar. However, this week on Wednesday September 24th, 2025, a woman who was not an employee grabbed me from behind. This woman did not let go of me when I asked her to, and she continued holding on to me for several seconds. This woman finally released me from her grip when the bartender asked her to several seconds later. This is not necessarily a negative review of the bar itself. However, it is worth stating that I personally had a very negative experience at this bar on a Wednesday evening. My advice? Stay away from this bar on Wednesday evenings. read more

The worst pizza I had. It was burnt and the pieces on top were way too big. Had an appetizer of mozzarella medallions and they were awful. They are served with balsamic vinegar which does not compliment the dish at at. Also, too much breading on the mozzarella. It was very loud in there and there is no accessible restroom for someone in a wheelchair. Will never go back. read more

Went to Nicos on Friday night for a pizza! We normally order carry out, but decided to dine instead! We ordered a classic, think crust pizza which was delicious as usual! Ample parking and no issue getting in even with all the construction on Lincoln. The best part was the service. Our waitress Sara was so kind and attentive! Every single person working, greeted us and was so sweet to our 5 year old daughter. The restaurant just feels so welcoming and we left with big smiles on our face. We stopped at Nico's Pub on a Sunday evening for the first time for some pizza. The room was warm, cozy and fairly busy. Despite the many patrons the volume level was quiet in the booth. Our server was friendly. We ordered the garlic bread appetizer which came out quick and was good. We went with the "Sharp dressed man" signature pizza and added black olives. First and foremost is the crust. It was definitely crisp and crunchy. The sauce was a nice balance between sweet and tangy. We also tried the lemoncello pie for desert. It was wonderfully flavorful without being too sweet or heavy. The perfect addition to the meal. Nico's pub is a nice addition to the area and worth a try. First time going to Nico's, which took over the location where Shakey's pizza was years ago. We had the classic pizza, which had sausage, mushrooms, and onions. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I liked it. The sausage pieces were very large and tasty. We really enjoyed this place and are happy to have them in West Allis. Ok, this is an extremely new place in Stallis. My expectations were met and beyond. We tried the mozzarella medallions for an app. The presentation was only surpassed by the flavor. A nice balsamic sauce with little heirloom tomatoes and a fine crust. The garlic bread is sourced from a local Italian bakery and comes out hot and tasty. We tried the classic pizza, and we were not disappointed. Garnished with Nicos' home recipe Italian sausage and plenty of cheese, the cracker crust was nice from edge to center. The sauce and onions with fresh mushrooms added to the great flavor. Give this place a try. You won't regret it! read more
