This well known wing spot has been on my list for quite some time, so while we were in the area we decided to stop! Although the ample parking lot was set up for a Fall party the following day, there was plenty of street parking to choose from. Walking in, we were greeted warmly. Our drink order was taken promptly by friendly staff. To eat, we split 3 flavors of wings-Spicy Butter Garlic Parm, Tough Guy, & Carribean Jerk as well as a basket of fries. The wings were sauced & grilled, so were nice & crispy. I would have liked a touch more sauce, which I will specify next time. The ranch was flavorful but a bit thick for my liking. The fries are beer battered (my fav), served hot & crispy. We were checked on several times, the service was excellent! I look forward to going back & trying more wing flavors. read more

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures but still wanted to do a quick review. Four of us stopped in around 6:30 on Friday so naturally it was busy. There were a few open tables upstairs so we took one over to the right against the wall. Waitress came rather quickly ( can't remember her name so that was I was so specific where we sat) and was very friendly and very patient when we didn't know exactly what we wanted. We got a bunch of different wings, mine were boneless, and everyone was very pleased. Mine were very soft, not super hard like BDubs can be) and had just the right amount of sauce. The fries were sooooo good!That actually might have been my fave part of the meal. There was a pretty decent selection of beers on tap. The wings were a pretty solid entry. I've been going to fourth and Long for a few years now, they sponsored our softball team a few times. The best thing to get here are the spicy garlic, Parmesan wings. They are so amazing! As well as their garlic, Parmesan fries, be careful if you get a full order that's a lot of fries. Just got a half order if it's for 1-2 people. They also remodeled, and it looks great! Went for wing night with a friend. The food was outstanding and strong pours on the drinks. My only downside was our waitress didn't come back for probably an hour after dropping off our food so we sat with empty drinks and waited a long time for the bill. I was told they had the best wings in town. Sadly, I will have to disagree. First, wings were jumbo and good sized. They add zero breading to the wing. Just a basic frozen chicken wing. Nothing special. They do have some custom sauces but also have the basic franks red hot ( which I like). I believe they deep fry the wings and then grill them in an attempt to try and copy Points East. The end product was disappointing. We also tried the homemade pizza which was a decent bar type pizza. One step above a good frozen pizza. Perfect for late night drunkness but not much more. The garlic fries were outstanding. Perfect flavor. Highly recommend. Service was good. Atmosphere was interesting. What one can expect from west allis. I will not be returning to eat. Might stop by for a drink though. read more

Great beer selection, great wings, friendly staff.. why 3 stars instead of 4 or 5? They don't serve veggies with their wings. Is it a big deal? Kinda. They'll bring you ranch but they won't bring veggies. This makes no sense, as a "true" wing place knows that the ranch is for dipping celery and carrots into, not wings. When I asked a server why they didn't have veggies, she said the owner didn't want to because of cost and because produce goes bad quickly. DOZENS of other Milwaukee bars and restaurants are able to manage to provide these almost necessary complementing food items. Do it, and I promise to update my review! read more

I wanted a hot wing and beer lunch so I thought I would head over here, because of the change in hours I have not had any luck getting in here for lunch but being super bowl Sunday I figured they would be open at 1 pm and they were. Web searching Milwaukee wings in various ways have brought up this place a few times so I have been wanting to try them for a while. This is a typical Stallis bar but not totally a dive but not a fully refined classy dress up place, I have been worse so I would say just a neighborhood hang out. The floor levels are kind of wacky because as you walk in the bar is at high stool level and as you move to the right the bar is at cafeteria chair level and that's the chairs in front of it. The bar is a typical U shape with flat screens and 10 to 12 taps and a few non domestics like the Alaskan Amber that I had. To the left as you walk in is an upper open loft area which is more suitable for eating if you don't want to eat at the bar, I have to really be in the mood for that so I sat upstairs. There is a big projection screen with flat screens also gaming machines in the far coroner. The bartender was super nice and did a great job with the newbie and so did everyone because they never gave me the feeling of crashing the boys club like some neighborhood places can do. I was given a menu and asked what I would like to drink as I sat down, the bar was loud for not being full so I went to the loft area with my drink and menu but I was 95 % sure the wings would be ordered in the loft. The wings were separated into four sections with mild, got heat, getting warmer and hot ass so I chose the Louisiana hot sauce because I didn't want mild but I didn't want to blow torch my mouth. The beer was ok but not as cold as I would like, it's just a neighborhood place. The wings took about 15 minutes to hit the table and smelled good but they were not sauced after cooking and naked so what ever heat and flavor survived after cooking would be what I would taste. The wings were cooked perfect, juicy/moist and crisp on the outside with no pink left in them. The wings were good but lacked any big flavor or heat for 1/2 up the heat scale and I would have liked them way better if they were sauced after cooking, wings need a messy flavorful sauce because naked wings out of the fryer will only have so much flavor after cooking. The blue cheese sauce was good and creamy but just average with no blue cheese chunks for the real deal flavor boost. Overall the place is a nice neighborhood joint for bar food and drinks although not my favorite or the best wings that I have had but they do the job if your there. This is not a wing destination bar because there is a couple places that I would drive out of my way for wings before stopping here. read more

Been to this establishment numerous times. My wife forgot her ID at home and we were denied service and told to leave. We weren't even ordering drinks just wings and was still told to leave. Meanwhile kids are able to enter and order just food. I will never spend a dollar in this place again. The bartender was very rude. read more

We came in last night around 5pm for dinner. Service was good. We ordered cheese curds to start. We had wings and the chicken bacon wrap for dinner. No complaints about any of the food. Best ranch dressing in town! Tasty old fashioned and cold beer. We will definitely be back! read more

After waiting entirely too long to try the wings from this place that I've heard are so great, we finally had the opportunity to order. Called and placed an order for takeout, the lady on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. She made great suggestions, Space such as order the garlic Parm french fries. I was told about 20 minutes for our order to be ready, my husband arrived 25 minutes later and the food was ready to go. He brought the food home and it was hot and fresh. It's pretty good, I came in with a group on a Wednesday since they do 75 cent wings those nights and on Mondays. A pretty small hole in the wall bar, a big bar on the first floor with two half levels one that goes up and another going down. The bar on the first floor was packed so we went to the second floor and got a table. Drink service was pretty quick, but it did take a little longer than I would have liked to get our food. To be fair there is a warning on the menu that the wings take longer. I had gotten three different sauce choices one from the first three levels of heat. Butter garlic parm, franks buffalo and spicy thai chili. Of the three I would have to say I like the garlic parm ones the best of the bunch. Each had their own unique taste which was nice and all in all pretty dang good. I do have to say I am a bit disappointed in the spice level, none of them were spicy. I didn't expect the first one to be, but none seemed to have much if any kick. A decent little dive if you want to get some drinks and pretty good bar food, but even for the discounted price of the 75 cent wings they are overpriced. It is kinda cool though they ask you off the bat if you want crispy or saucey wings, I just got them as is to see how they usually serve them. read more

My girlfriend and I have frequented this establishment a few times now and have been generally satisfied with the food and beverages. On our most recent visit, we noticed an inch thick of piled dust on the ceiling fans directly in our site line of the TV's. We wondered if we should let them be aware of this fact. After-all, if the "front of the house" isn't clean, what must the "back of the house" be like? We decided I would discreetly let a bartender(Andrea) know what we observed so that it could be corrected so as not turn off other customers. Andrea's response verbatim: "What, do you clean fans for a living?". So Andrea basically told me to go F myself for pointing this out. She then proceeded to ignore us and did not care even in the slightest. Really? I'm doing your business a favor by pointing this out! I'm in customer service and have managed restaurants in the past. I respectfully brought this to your attention as we liked this establishment. Even if you didn't care, you should have said "thanks for letting me know, I will pass the information along". Next time you are there(we probably won't be), take a look up at the ceiling fans and see if this post makes a difference(Andrea certainly didn't think it was important). read more

This place was recommended to me for their wings and fun Packer games. So I thought I'd check it out. Not knowing how busy it could get, I arrived almost 2 hours before the Packer game started. It was a night game, and I wanted to get a good seat at the bar, with a good view of the TVs. I didn't want to get stuck at a table in the corner, away from the action. Good news, when I got there, there were plenty of bar seats open and lots of TVs, so no matter which bar seat you're in, you'll have a great vantage point to watch the game. About 15 minutes later, however, every bar seat was now taken. This place filled up fast! The bar has a very unique setup. It's a tri-level. The main floor is where the bar is. Then there's an upper level, about 5 steps up from the main level, and about 5 steps down, is the lower level. These levels have tables and TVs, and when I was there, they were filled with Packer fans. The bar, itself, also has different levels. It's a rectangle, where 3 sides have tall pub chairs. The fourth side is up 2 steps, making the bar counter height. It's a little weird at first, but it only takes a minute to get used to, and then it's fine. I tried the wings and was impressed. The way they're prepared is my favorite: they fry them, toss them in sauce, then grill them. They have close to 20 sauces to choose from. My only complaint is that the sauce list has no descriptions. Some of the names are: Jacks, Tough Guy, Dumb Ass. What does that mean? What kind of sauce is Jacks? For Packer games, this bar is a par-tay! You get free touchdown shots plus free food at halftime. The touchdown shots were cherry bombs, and at halftime, they put out a taco bar. What's not to love?! The staff was great! You could tell everybody else in this place were all regulars. But the bartenders treated us, first-timers, just as they treated the regulars. You never felt like an outsider. read more

So my wife was there with her kids and they made her wait an hour and 20 mins. After they said half an hour well when they finally called them they tried sitting her with a baby at a bar cause they didn't want to open up a table because the manager said he only had two waitresses working and he said if you don't like it eat somewhere else he was a fat guy and another manger was there as well. He refused to give up his name tag and got hostile with customers around her children. We will not be going back there and I'm going to do what I can to get them fired. read more

The siracha we're good, but to do over again, I would order all 12 extra crispy butter Garlic, they were amazing. Waitress was great. Pretty impressed! We went for a Packers game and found the place packed. The bar has a kind of cool split-level layout with a big open bar, a lower game level, and an upper dining area. The wings were really good - grilled, crispy, and really hot - and there was a fair selection of beer. They even rolled out free pizzas for us - really tasty thin crust! This isn't an immaculately decorated and chic place, but it has to be one of the cleanest and most comfortable establishments in the West Allis area. read more
