I love trying out pizza places sandwich's because I like a nice cheesey messy meatball sandwich and their Facebook page shows them making the meatballs in house so I had to try the meatball sandwich. As I drove over I realized that I have been to a pizza place in this spot before and they had a good thin crust pizza but why was my review not listed, aah it must be a new pizza place in this location and it was because it looked completely different on the inside, no more dining room and set up for takeout with a couple hi tables in front of the kitchen. The meatball sandwich was a little heftier than I expected and a decent size for $7.95, you can get a combo for $9.95 that comes with frys and slaw but I didn't get the combo. The meatball sandwich looked pretty good with mozzarella cheese oozing out of it and it came with a pickle spear. The meatball sandwich was tasty with tender meatballs in a red sauce that was not very sweet or runny on a very fresh/soft roll, I forgot to ask for my favorite which is put it on garlic bread. Overall was it the best meatball sandwich that I have have, na but it was not bad and it completely satisfied my craving for something in red sauce smothered in mozzarella cheese and I would probably stop back for the chicken Parmesan sandwich.

The Greenfield location for Mountain Mike's Pizza is the first in the Midwest (the closest…read morelocations previously were in Texas and Colorado). Continued expansion may be inevitable, so I figured I'd give their food a try see where it stacks up against other chain pizza stores. For Pi Day (March 14th) they had a special of a 6" mini pizza for free with the purchase of a 20oz soda. I got extra cheese and linguisa (a type of sausage) on the pizza. I also ordered six garlic not-knots for an appetizer. The garlic not-knots were very good. I didn't read the item description before ordering since I assumed they were just garlicky dough, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese on/in them and a little crunch from the baked cheese. The pizza was ok. The linguista didn't stand out like I hoped it would and the amount of cheese on the pizza is what I would have expected it normally have, so I don't know if they added extra or not. That said, I'd rather have their pizza than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Toppers, or Little Caesars. Papa John's is still my preferred chain pizza store though. Two things that may hurt this Mountain Mike's chances of succeeding: price and location. Their pizzas are pretty expensive (for example, a 14" cheese pizza is $25). I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts rather than paying full price. As for location, this particular strip mall is always packed, making parking very difficult. Being in a busy area not far from Southridge Mall is fine if you want a lot of potential customers, but that location might be a turn off once people try to visit.

The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and the pizza was good. The salad bar looked very fresh. Prices are a little steep, but most things are these days. Minus 1 star because the wings were just ok. Lots of parking in the strip mall parking lot. Pepperoni was a stand-out. We will return!

Keep in mind that serving a group is incredibly hard. I realize that. I arrived and did not see any apparent Server for our table, so went to the bar to get a beverage. I was told immediately "no go back to your table. We have a Server for you". I said well next time I will do that. I paid cash for that drink and then went back to the table. I realize the Server, who was very sweet probably did not know that we were having some very sensitive conversations that were somewhat personal and emotional and in the middle of some of the most important things being said she was very loudly shout out peoples orders as they arrived to the table Maybe my expectation is too high. Two of us decided to share a small 12 inch pizza with just three ingredients on it. I was very hungry so I was pretty excited. The pizza arrived, and my friend only had one piece and said I could have the rest *yikes*. I tasted it and the crust? Well it was very hard and dry. The sauce? I don't know what it was but it's like no sauce I've ever had. I like a good spicy red pizza sauce. This was not that. The toppings were OK. Overall, the pizza was somewhat dry. But it seemed to be a relatively reasonable price. Overall, I should've looked more closely at the menu because our Bill was $44 for the two of us. My friend had added garlic bread onto the order which is fine. They somehow decided that we were also going to have cheese on our garlic bread which added another three dollars. We never asked for cheese. So my half of the pizza and half of the garlic bread came to $22 This included absolutely no beverages. I think the overall the atmosphere is nice and the service is very friendly. However, this is not one of those must have pizzas that I'm going to crave in the future. Very expensive and definitely not what I would consider a delicious pizza.

Klasiana Pizza: Located in Greendale, which is just south of Milwaukee, Klasiana Pizza offers up a…read morevariety of pizza and Mediterranean food. Their pizza ranges in size from a small 10 inch all the way to a party sized 18x27". They also offer five different types of pizza crust (thin, original, stuffed cheese crust, Chicago, and pan) and a number of specialty themed pizzas. The restaurant itself is compact, but does have a couple small tables for those choosing to dine in. I really liked the Mediterranean village theme they had going as it made for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although I already have a go to pizza joint in MKE for my Chicago style pies, I had to give Klasiana's a shot as they offer the option of swapping out traditional pizza sauce with a creamy Alfredo sauce. I've had Alfredo sauce on pizza before and it's a game changer, but I've never had it on a Chicago style pizza. My stuffed pizza was slathered with a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce on top of a thin layer of crust (so for you other pizza aficionados out there, yes I realize it's not technically Chicago style). Below this first layer of crust is a plethora of gooey cheese (along with any other desired toppings) and then the base layer of crust. I'm a huge fan of cheese and usually order extra cheese, but their pizza had a generous portion as is. What stood out the most to me about the crust was that it had a bread-like texture. It was in no way bad, but personally I tend to prefer more of a doughy texture. This was a delicious creation and although I'll likely order it again, I first want to try either their pan style or stuffed cheese crust style pizzas with Alfredo sauce. Doughboy approved *One suggestion I have for Klasiana's is to please include pictures of the different crust styles on their website! As a lover of pizza I'm very familiar with the different types of crust, but I've noticed different pizza parlors do not always consistently use the correct terminology when referring to their creations. For example, the Chicago style pizza here is actually a stuffed pizza (not complaining as I think it's actually superior to a traditional Chicago style), which is confusing since their menu also has a stuffed cheese crust pizza. My favorite stuffed pizza parlors: 1. Pizzeria Scotty 2. Gino's East 3. Klasiana Pizza (Alfredo sauce!) 4.Giordano's Doughboy_Food_Reviews

What's weirder is a window that looks down into the athletic club and a inside side door that opens right into the athletic club from the bar/restaurant. The place is a bar/restaurant with a dining room as you walk in, bar straight back, pool room next to the bar and a lot of TVs. The woman working the bar like a boss and finally got to me so I ordered a space dust beer and a cheeseburger rare, I explained to her to have the cook make it extra rare because it's takeout and it will keep cooking on the ride home. Thank you to the cook who understood that because two hours later when I ate it, it was still rare and juicy. The space dust beer was cold and refreshing even though I do like my stouts and heavy beers. My cheeseburger was pepper Jack with lettuce, tomato and onion which is what I like for the most part that came with seasoned frys. The seasoned frys were hot/crisp but on the dry side, I tried them right away to see how they were and they are just ok. The cheeseburger was a half pound and cooked to perfection, the bottom bun had no chance of surviving all that rare juicy ness. The cheeseburger was good because it was simple with rare beef, bun, lettuce, tomato and onions with no sauces so you could taste all the fresh ingredients because sometimes I just like a simple cheeseburger. I would definitely go back for a beer and try some more of the menu because the wings looked good.
