    supposedly the Parmesan Garlic Bites

Honestly really disappointed with the service we received today. We ordered a cheese pizza and garlic knots. We have ordered garlic knots, cheese pizza and the margherita pizza multiples times- summer of 2025 however, now we can clearly conclude that they have downgraded their service and food. Previously we had fluffy garlic knots, smothered in sauce and parmesan however now they are serving burnt pizza crust with a sprinkle of parmesan in place of what they are advertising on their website. The pizza dough was still raw and not edible. Perhaps management has changed, as their phone number and location within the building also have and the previous menu is no longer offered which supports this theory. We did order close to closing time and inquired whether it was too late to place an order however they proceeded to take our order regardless. We would have been more satisfied if they had let us know it was too late and they would not be able to provide the quality service we had been given before. Upset to say that we will no longer be ordering from brute, they have officially lost their game.

Veggie pizza. Half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. We asked for them well done so we didn't mind the black parts. The taste was great overall.

The pizzas were good. Maybe too cheesy for me but the flavor was good. We asked for them to be well done so we didn't mind the black parts.

I've gotten the 414 Pizza from Brute twice now and both times did not disappoint! I have ordered it finished/cut in store as well as parbaked, and you can't go wrong either way depending on what your plan for your meal is. The food is definitely quality, and I would recommend especially if you love a chewy crust! The online ordering process is super easy, and pick up went pretty quickly. I did have to wait a couple of minutes both times at the counter for someone to come down with my food, but it wasn't too bad. There are 3 or 4 small tables to sit at inside, but it's also next to a hallway area that leads to a bunch of offices/businesses so not exactly the ideal place to enjoy a meal.

Detail of the P.P.P.P. Pizza. Delicious.

Solid sourdough pizza. Maybe a bit pricey, but also reasonable for the quality. Brute has limited indoor seating, but as others have mentioned it's more of a takeout place. (This is indeed a take-out review.) We got two pizzas, a Caesar salad, and the oft-mentioned Parmesan Garlic Bites. As I'm not going to be responsible for knocking Brute off of five stars, I'll note that my rating explicitly excludes the Parm bites. (More on that later.) The pizza was great. The Margherita was solid. (One quirk: the basil comes on the side. Brute recommends reheating the pizzas once home, which explains the basil, but that doesn't really work for those of us in hotels.) Meanwhile, the P.P.P.P. (Pepperoni, Bell Peppers, Peppadew Peppers, and Parmesan-Reggiano) was AMAZING and easily a top-10 pizza for me. It's a perfect combination of spicy with a bit of sweetness. These pizzas were paired with a flavorful and nicely mixed Caesar. In all, a lovely meal. Although, as mentioned, this excludes the Garlic Parmesan Bites, which were unpleasantly solid and neither Parmesan-y nor garlicky. My wife commented that they tasted like overcooked donuts, and once that was in my brain I couldn't dismiss it. The other reviewers seemed to love them, so maybe we got a bad batch. Regardless, the pizza was good enough that we'll be back next time we're in Milwaukee.

    carry out!

Tucked away little gem in Whitefish Bay. I've mentioned before how I haven't really felt like the high-end pizza places in town don't live up to the hype and price tag. And then we found Brute Pizza! The ordering: So the ordering process takes a little planning. You can call them, text them, or DM on instagram to make an order - but they only take pre-orders. Which really threw me off at first. And they only work from Thursday to Sunday, 4pm-7pm. I contacted them via instagram, really late. But I guess that's one perk of using this method - I didn't feel guilty about calling at non business hours and could just leave a message and expect a response during business hours. Which they did. We opted to pick up at their location - which is the Donut Monster. We thought they shared the kitchen, and we were just picking up, but when we went there, our delivery person met us from their car parked in front of Donut Monster... So I guess not? It was a little weird and we weren't sure whether we had to tip the driver or not. The food: Chef's Pizza - it's an anchovy pizza. I can't believe I ordered an anchovy pizza and like it. The dough was Ah-mazing. Super chewy, thin but not too thin. the toppings weren't over topped, but very well balanced, and it wasn't salty or extravagant. Perfect balance. Pizza of the day - Pancetta, Kale Pesto Sauce, Chili Crunch, Parmesan, Crispy Kale, Mozzarella The pesto sauce was not overwhelming, but just right. The crispy kale was da bomb. The whole thing was so well balanced and so scrumptious! Garlic Bites - bite size pieces of sourdough deep fried and drizzled with garlic sauce. This didn't feel as fresh as the pizza, but still very delicious. The verdict: I'm a new fan! THIS is how high end pizzas should be!

Three cheese pizza, garlic bites and the most flavorful delicata squash side of all time.

Brute Pizza is legitimately some of the best pizza in town. The pizza itself is just perfect - the crust, the cheese, the overall bake. I wish we had ordered more just to have extra leftovers. The garlic bites are also incredible and near impossible to stop eating. We also had their vegetable side special, which was a fantastically flavorful squash dish. The fact that even the side dish was incredibly thought out and full of seasonal ingredients speaks to the level of quality Brute has. We ordered through direct message on Instagram, requested a time slot and paid through Venmo - easy peasy! You can also call to order but keeping up with their Instagram is a great way to see their delivery schedule and specials. They were so fast to respond and the food was nice and warm when delivered. Per their Instagram account, they deliver within 10 miles of whitefish bay but you can also reach out if you're outside of that zone it seems. They also mention being able to do parbaked pizza for later. Cannot recommend Brute enough! Order as soon as you're able!!

The pizza is great quality! I usually go for pepperoni but honestly the marg pizza was amazing and even better. We got it to go so this really is only a review of the pizza itself.

Vibe was odd for dining in and the margarita pizza was bad way too much sauce, no cheese, and it came out so hot that everything slid off.

The restaurant itself is lively but chill - is there a word for that!? lol very laid back, friendly and informed staff. We were able to snag a seat at the bar which was great - it's probably got 12-15 seats. Full dinner service too! My husband got a mezcal old fashioned (not on the menu) and I got a spicy margarita. Both were great! As for food, the menu is eclectic, but everything looks and tasted great! We got 2 appetizers, the bruschetta and stuff pepper - both were delish!! And then we shared the braised beef risotto topped off the night with a spirit free strawberry Fresca & churros (SO GOOD). Great experience for deciding last minute and getting a walk in spot.

The bartender who served us and made most, if not all, the drinks in house was awesome. She never stopped moving and was helpful and courteous the whole time. My husband enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. It was thin crust and looked very good. I, however, did not enjoy my extremely overpriced undercooked pasta. While I do appreciate that they offer gluten free noodles, I would rather them not if they do not know how to cook them. Most of the noodles were a bit hard and crispy. I would have sent this back, but I was very hungry as I was waiting to eat here all day. I ordered the Roma Fresca with no cheese, gluten free noodles, and grilled chicken. The chicken was half a grilled breast and the sauce was bright and flavorful. I stand by my review, if you are a pasta place that doesn't know how to cook pasta, you've lost me. I'm just glad I didn't get a flight of undercooked noodles. I would not return and do not recommend for gluten free folks. Who wants a flight of pasta when all the noodles are the same anyways?
