Pizza and lasagna were very good. Lasagna comes with salad and garlic bread. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back...soon! read more

Leonardo's Pizza Parlor - Lasagna - Pizza Near Me - Mequon, Wisconsin

Best pizza I've had so far in the area, order it well done for sure otherwise it's too floppy. Not a whole lot of flavor in the sauce or cheese, but great NY Style Pizza for Wisconsin and for Mequon. Will continue to come back for sure. read more

Leonardo's Pizza Parlor - 12 inch pepperoni and green pepper thin pizza - Pizza Near Me - Mequon, Wisconsin

Consistently great NY style pizza. Great sauce, great crust, great cheese. If you like the classic Wisconsin cracker crust, this is not the place for you. If you love crust that is crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, this is the place for you. It is one of our most favorite pizza places. We really like the guys that work there. Always friendly read more

Easy to order by phone (sometimes it may ring, but I just try again in a bit). The NY pizza is pretty big and perfect for folding. The pizzas were a bit greasy but good all in all. I heard the cheese pizza is the best but I liked their sausage, too. I'd definitely go back but maybe try something else to keep exploring the menu! read more

So won a 20-dollar gift card at a fund raiser, so we treated ourselves to two lasagna dinners tonight. Never at here before and probably wouldn't have didn't know about it. So glad everything was awesome from service friendly and polite and food was awesome. We will go back. Thanks will spread the word :) read more

This is my fiancé's favorite, so when we were in town this past weekend, he decided it was time to introduce me. I can easily see why he raves about this pizza. The NY-style crust is thin but not soggy with a pillowy edge that is the perfect amount of un-topped edge for holding & folding, there is ample cheese, and the toppings are generous but not so plentiful you are overwhelmed. Prices for pizzas include 2 toppings (THANK YOU; of course I want more than just cheese on my pizza!). We opted for sausage + olive and a veggie option with olives, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. As a veggie pizza lover, I have to say this was one of my favorites I've had - veggies were thinly sliced so the pizza didn't get watery. The sausage had nice seasoning as well. I'll definitely move this to the top of my list of restaurants to return to on our next visit. read more

Leonardo's Pizza Parlor - Sausage and olive on left, veggie on the right - Pizza Near Me - Mequon, Wisconsin

This place was recommended when looking to get pizza for lunch. Initially, we were asking about delivery but decided to pick it up instead. We ordered two 18-inch pizzas and 2 orders of cheese bread for six people, which was more than enough. The cheese bread was absolutely amazing, as was the marinara that came with it! The bread was not crispy but soft (in a good way), and the cheese was perfectly melted. The pizzas (total New York style!), which we customized and ordered on thin crust, were very good and flavorful. The only downside was that the crust was a little "soggy," but I'm certain that was simply because of the thin crust and ride back. Ordering from here is a great way to support a local, family owned, small business! I would definitely choose this place again over one of the chains! read more

First i had to call 28 times just to get though on their phone line which they really need to have multiple lines for ordering. After picking up the pizza was def good but they skimped on most toppings and little sauce but if it were not for the skimping on topping and sauce especially for the price it would have been a 5 star. The lasagna was perfect and a 5 star but the salad was junk and served in a paper fry boat and wrapped in tinfoil. Should have at least been served in a Styrofoam container. The salad was just iceberg lettuce and a slice of onion and 2 tomato slices and black olives. To sum it up the pizza is very good but fails due to little quantity of toppings vs the price that is paid for toppings. read more

One of the few places where I can get a really good NY style pizza. Their sauce is good and the crust has a good crunch. I normally go for Tuesday special - 2 slices with two toppings and a drink for $8 read more

Advertised as the best New York style pizza in Mequon, so we decided we would give it a shot. Had to call probably 6 times to get through, it was 5-6 pm on a Friday night. Placed our order and arrived at the instructed time, the pizza was not yet ready but no big deal it was done within 5 minutes of arrival. Pizza was great, we built our own. My biggest complaint is it's super overpriced. $2.25 to add onions is ridiculous! Maybe for meat but for every single topping it seemed excessive. It was 35$ for one large two topping pizza and a side of cheesy garlic bread. The taste of the pizza wasn't great enough to overcome the high price, but would definitely come back if prices were more fair. Otherwise there's plenty of other pizza places in Mequon to grab a Za! read more

Love the lasagna and love the pizza. Wish they had online ordering. Hard to get through on phone after 5 on Fri & Sat nights. Try to Call before 5 otherwise it feels like you are attempting to win a big prize on a radio station by being the 10th caller or buy concert tickets. Lol. Always worth the effort. read more

A decades long establishment in mequon, with a very solid new your style pizza, a wide assortment of apps and some pretty good weekday specials. On Tuesday's you can get two, two topping slices and side for $7 and change. And the slices are true NYC size slices. I always end up getting pepperoni and sausage. read more

First pizza place I ordered when moved to the area about 10 years ago. My favorite pizza in the area. Drivers are always friendly. Reasonable price. read more

Significantly worse than grocery store freezer pizza, at 4x the cost. That's all I have to say.

We walked into a small, empty dining room at about 5pm. An apparent father-daughter team working behind the counter didn't acknowledge us, or even make eye contact. We looked through the glass at the pizza by the slice selection: a dried out looking pepperoni and a withered cheese pie. Then we turned around and walked out. The up-side is that we finally tried a by-the-slice pizza place much closer to home. And it was good! read more

Showed up on yelp app so dropped in while road tripping with the fam. Calzone and pizza was good! Would recommend.

The other day I took the strangest way to work and for whatever reason I decided to take these back roads to get from Mequon Rd. to Port Rd., passing Leonardo's on the way. I don't think I've had Leonardo's in over 15 years - man, my dad probably took the family there when I was in high school. I remembering him just loving that place - he was a man of good taste. Now, I wonder what the hell I've been doing with my life that it's been 15~ years since I've had their amazing pizza! Last night a friend and I were thinking pizza to go with our beer and I ordered an 18" New York style pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom; talk about salivation station! Incredibly flavor with the ingredients, sauce, and crust with the perfect consistency creating the perfect pizza. It might be my new favorite pizza joint. read more

Leonardo's Pizza Parlor - New York style pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. It tasted just as orgasmic as it looks. - Pizza Near Me - Mequon, Wisconsin

Out of this world Calzone. FANTASTIC, flavor, and consistency. Leonardo's is the best pizza and Italian food restaurant around. Friendly and fast delivery too. A big plus for Mequon!! read more

As far as pizza places go that pizza by the slice, this place is far from special. The sauce was quite runny and there's no specialty pizzas to choose from because you pay for each individual topping on your slice. If you want good pizza by the slice, save yourself the trouble and make the drive to Sal's Pizza in Cedarburg. read more

My boyfriend and I came yesterday, as we had been there before and the food was good, but when we got back home, I had food poisoning. Originally, we thought it might have been something else I had eaten, but when he also started throwing up, we knew that there was only one possible explanation, as that was the only food we had eaten together. We had been there multiple times before and the food was good (service was okay). Not sure what was different this time, but it definitely left a bad taste in our mouth (pun not intended). read more

Best pizza on the North Shore, hands-down my favorite! If you like New York style, this is the place for you.

A near perfect rating describes this place very well. Offering New York style pizza at fair prices, Lenny's is a great stop in the mequon area. The sauce is great and the crust is nearly perfect! Also offering weekday specials, Lenny's has something for everyone. Try the calzones! They are big and stuffed with tons of toppings! They even serve Philly cheesesteaks here! Enjoy real Italian at Lenny's! read more

OVERPRICED AFTER BAR FOOD. Not a fan. If you haven't had a lot of authentic, then this place is for you.

It's a shame that the pizza is good because the customer service and order processing is terrible. If you call you cannot even get through. Poor call processing. No online ordering, time to get into this century. Call back to ask about status of order after 90 min. Told that it would be 5 more min with no explanation. Pizza arrive after 2 hours and it was COLD! Very poor customer service. If you are hungry....do not order here! read more

My family really likes to go here. In fact I will order From them when my son has his birthday.

Called 10 times in 30 minutes and never got through. Seems to be a common issue. Finally just went there and ordered and sat and waited. Pizza was good, though I'd say the extra few minute drive to Sals in Cedarburg will get you the same pizza quality with a better ordering system. read more

After living in Mequon for about 5 months, I decided to try a new pizza place for delivery this past weekend. After reading the reviews for Leonardo's, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I ordered two pizzas for my house hold and they were both loved by everyone! I also really appreciate that the person taking my order told me right away that it would be about 1.5 hours. That communication is so appreciated and fine by me! I see a lot of Leonardo's pizza in my future :) read more

Great NY style pizza! We received a free medium sized pizza voucher in the mail and decided a rainy Sunday football day would be the perfect time to try a new spot. The pizza was delicious, with an amazing pizza sauce. We added toasted ravioli to the order and they were decent. Born and raised in STL, I'm use to top tier meat T-ravs. These were cheese filled and didn't live up to STL quality but still good. Friendly service over the phone and when we picked up our order. For sure will go again! read more

Excellent true "New York" style pizza. I would know, I'm a native New Yorker who drives 15 miles to eat here.

Might be offering dining room now but when we were there it was takeout only. Food was great and I love their pizza.

This place is one of Mequon best take out places. Pizza is great even better are the subs and the salads! Food is always hot and delicious!

This is the only and best NYC pizza on the Northshore. Fold it over and pack it in! Hidden off of Mequon Rd., Leonardo's knows how to represent the 212. Their pies are hand tossed and laid with a foundation of personal toppings that will make your mouth water. Not sure if they use a starter for their dough. Will have to update my review after I find out. Interior lacks, so plan on taking your pie to go. Great sandwiches and pastas, too, that can be customized for catering. I've used them for catering several times. They're always on-time and dependable. They'll also do their best to accomodate dietary needs. I always appreciate when an establishment goes out of their way to move away from the staple menu and work to create a positive customer experience. Chewy, soft, crispy.... you'll find it in their original pizza crust. Be sure to check their website for coupons. If I'm looking for a thin crust pizza- Leonardo's is my choice. They don't mess around. read more

I, mean, I like it... The atmoshere is terrible. Like really terrible. But, the food is good. Decent New York pizza, with great delivery service. The salads are OK too. They are totally reliable! read more

delicious new york style big slice pizza. The sausage is pretty good but their pepperoni is some of the best i've ever tasted. I wonder where they get it. Anyway, their wings are great, too. They're fried and breaded and the heat, which is substantial, gets locked in. There's no escape! Leo's is always timely on pickups and deliveries. A true North Shore staple! man, I'm the king of fragments, aren't I? read more

I've eaten here countless times - growing up nearby this was my fix for many years while growing up. Working by here has also resulted in many lunches here. I usually stick to their thin crust NYC style pizza as I think it is one of the best in the North Shore area yet the sandwiches and lunch specials that change on a daily basis are also really good. They have a meatball sandwich, calzone, 2 slice combo, and a few other that rotate daily for lunch to try something different each day while MASH plays in the background. Yes, the pizza is greasy and comes with your standard toppings yet it ALWAYS hits the spot of what I'm looking for. It's just like Sollys, you can't eat it every day, but it always delivers when you do eat it...and you'll have cravings for it. Definitely worthwhile stopping at in the area or getting it delivered if you live nearby. read more

My husband and I had dinner here a few nights ago and weren't very impressed. The man who took our order was very curt and not very personable. We almost felt like we inconveniencing him. We ordered their new special, the buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza was very one-dimensional, I believe it was only buffalo sauce, chicken, and cheese. It could have used some celery for crunch and maybe a blue cheese sauce base for creaminess. Also, the pizza was floppy and a bit soggy towards the middle, which made it hard to eat. I would get a pizza from Costco before coming here again. read more

Good east-coast style pizza. Thin with a chewy handle and sweet sauce. If you got kids go for the large but double cut. Skip the meatball sub or salad; and stick with the pizza and pizza bread. read more

I really like Pizza Hut but after this place, we have converted! We got the NY pizza as suggested and boy, it was HUGE!! Bang, for the buck, check! They gave it to us sizzling hot so it was agonizing to wait about 10 minutes for it to cool down before we could actually eat it. :( Meanwhile, we were watching FoodNetwork on the TV screens so we weren't complaining much. Anyway, it tasted good but the bottom part was a bit soggy. Still, we loved the ambience, service, and freshness of the pizza. We'll be back. read more

Leonardo's Pizza Parlor - New York Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Mequon, Wisconsin

I am from NYC and I admit am a pizza snob. This place is the real deal. Delish NY pizza and the mozzarella sticks are equally great. Have not yet tried the rest f the food, but I am sure it is great. The pizzeria is in the style of a typical NY pizza place, and it even has slices! When I miss NY I go here! Would have gotten five stars, but the fifth star is what you get when you are actually a great pizza place in NYC! read more
