We were seated promptly and the place was almost full for Saturday dinner. After a short wait, they brought us table waters and left a large bottle of water for refills. I was a little disappointed that they didn't get us started with chips and salsa as is typical for most Mexican restaurants. They have a nice liquor selection and an expanded page of a variety of Tequilas and specialty margaritas. The menu is limited to only one page but focuses on a nice variety of appetizers, Tacos and meals. For starters, we ordered the Chips and pico de gallo. The pico was very fresh and tasty and came with a generous portion of tortilla chips. For dinner, we ordered 3 tacos each - Manolos Bam Bam chicken tacos, Milwalke taco, Shrimp cilantro tacos, and the Quasi birria taco. When they arrived they seemed pretty small but our eyes were bigger than our stomach. Each soft corn tortilla taco was loaded with the selected meat and accompanied toppings. Each one was very delicious with generous amounts of chicken, shrimp, and steak with just the right amount of spice. After 3 of them I was stuffed! For dessert, we tried the stuffed Churros which were lightly coated with cinnamon and came with 2 dipping sauces of chocolate and creamy donut glaze. So good! The guacamole came out quickly and was tasty, with a slightly sweet twist due to the pomegranate seeds and chips just as I like them. I ordered the milwalke and manolos bam bam tacos. I preferred the bam bam because it was filled a bit more but I didn't love the mayo based sauce on either. I would've preferred that on the side or, even better, an offering of salsa instead. I would've loved to review their salsa but only heard about it as I was finished up and it was offered to the couple sitting next to us at the bar. I was excited to try here but there were a few misses during our visit so we'll head to other local restaurants when we're in the area for a more satisfying meal next time.

Salsa is fresh and good. Chips and salsa refills are always free. Chips are served hot. Overall, this is our favorite Mexican place in the area and there are a lot of places to choose from. We walked onto the patio and stood waiting to be seated. My GF has a problem with her foot, and standing and walking can be painful. I asked the waitress/hostess if we could please be seated. She said that someone would seat us. There were 12 or 14 tables and only 2 had people seated at them. We stood there waiting for maybe 5 or 10 minutes, and I finally decided to just seat ourselves (even if temporarily) at a small table with 2 chairs. After a few minutes, the Manager abruptly charged out of the restaurant door to our table with a very angry look on his face. He did not greet us, but instead said "Do NOT seat yourselves, if you do, you run the risk not being noticed or served at all". I corrected him and told him politely in a calm voice that we HAD asked to be seated, but were not, so we sat down. He did not apologize, but left if a huff. I guess the customer is NOT always right. I noticed that the Manager thanked other tables as they left, but he ignored us (fine) We completed our (great) meal, drinks and desert. The bill was over $100, and we tipped generously. Maybe the Manager was having a bad day, but he should not take it out on his customers. I am not sure if we will return to what was one of our favorite local restaurants.
