I placed an online order today to pick up for my lunch break. I was very impressed with the speed of my order completion as well as the quality of my pizza when I picked it up. I was able to order my pizza online, leave work, drive the 6 minutes or so to MOD, and my pizza was ready for me right away! My first lunch visit to Mod Pizza and their newest location in Pewaukee. It is still a very well kept property and the service was great, with plenty of restaurant associates to cook, clean and help out on counter to build pizzas and explain their options. My buddy went with their build your own - regular 11 inch crust. There are a lot options for base of the pizza, but he decided to try their red sauce as an initial baseline for future visit. He asked to have arugula, basil and garlic added to the sauce. He opted for mozzarella, salami, onions, greek olive mix and another item, then into the oven right away. Since their single crust is a nice thin crust, I opted for the double crust and if you look at the picture, it was like a hand tossed pan. To stay baseline on a pizza review, I went with the red sauce, added garlic and mozzarella as standard to write this review. I chose toppings that I knew my buddy considers "sacrilege" items for a pizza, to ensure that I can have this all to myself, sorry buddy if you are reading this but these toppings are awesome! I asked for canadian bacon (which looked to not come from a package), jalapenos, onions and oregano - directly into the oven. It was a short turn around time for the pizza, which was expertly cooked and not soggy at all. I wish other pizza places could figure out how to get a crunchy crust, but with the rest of the slice is still nice and chewy. The store had a nice influx of to go and eat in patrons shortly after we received our orders, but the staff was turning out the pies efficiently. Today's visit involved inclement, and my only complaint involved was leaving the restaurant and entering into the parking lot. Please shovel the curb, took a quick drop and almost lost my leftovers and drink. Overall it was a 5 star event, which I do not give out frequently but I weighed my experiences here and it was really a good visit and we will be back. read more

I placed an online order for delivery. I received a text message immediately after ordering. It told me DoorDash was going to deliver. I no longer use Door Dash because the food is always cold! I called the store immediately (within 3 minutes of ordering) to tell them to cancel the order, that I would not accept a Door Dash delivery. The person on the other end was rude, and I mean rude! She told me that I could not cancel it because the order had been started. I told her that I called as soon as I received their text message. She told me, just take the order and if it is cold when you get it, call me back and I will credit your card. I told her that I knew it would be cold and to cancel my order. She finally did and was very rude about it. I assumed she cancelled the order. An hour later, the pizza and salad were delivered. The pizza was in fact cold! And, it didn't really have any flavor. There was hardly any sauce on it at all. I had a few bites and threw it away. I decided to eat the Chicken Caesar entree salad instead. The salad had been placed on the pizza box for delivery. (Photo included) The heat of the pizza turned the romaine soggy and gross. And there were only 3 little pieces of chicken in the salad. This was an entree salad they sell for over $8. This was definitely side salad size. Because of the soggy romaine, I threw it away. I am glad that she had refunded my money and I was only out my delivery tip. Terrible experience! read more

We were excited (as a family) for this location to open, but we were pretty disappointed last night. We found the red sauce to be pretty spicy. My kids couldn't take the spicy kick to the red sauce so they didn't finish the pizza and they usually love pizza. I have talked to a few friends since then and got a mixture of yes it's spicy and no it's not. Maybe we had a bad batch of the sauce, not sure. We also ordered garlic bread, which was super good; however, they didn't give us the right sauce that we wanted. The seating area for eating wasn't too big and it was pretty busy; however they managed to keep it clean and appealing. The artwork and paintings on the wall made it a fun vibe in atmosphere. The customer service was lacking. There really wasn't much leadership. Most of the team appeared to be younger and overwhelmed. I'm sure as they get customized as a team and a better process in place that the lines will move much smoother. read more

My fiancé and I visited the pewaukee Mod Pizza and we were very disappointed with the service. For the following reasons. 1. When we arrived it was a slow time. Only one person in front of us but it was clear he'd been there a while without service. Then they took our order. (2 mod pizzas) and the girl walked away and chatted with another employee quick. Then slowly moved her way back to use. 2. It took 10 minutes just for them to put the 3 topping pizzas together. 3. No one was moving fast at all and no one looked happy 4. It took a total of 30 minutes for us to get our food and go... then we came home and had to recook the food because they weren't cooked all the way. Unfortunately considering not going back the this particular store as this isn't our first issue. read more

Absolutely out standing! Their pizza's are small and really sized for one person. The taste is great, they are affordable and the service is fast. I would suggest you order on line with the app or the website. Than you can just walk in and pick up your pizza or have them bring it to your car. They also have dinning inside.
