    Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich
    Kacee A.

This was my second visit to Sobelmans, and it continues to be a great spot. Our server was wonderful, down-to-earth, and gave us a perfect heads-up that the "funky lemonade"--which was delicious and topped with fresh fruit--would sneak up on us. We started with the fried ravioli and the pretzel, both of which were incredibly fresh and tasty. For our main courses, the grilled chicken sandwich was on point, and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her chicken wrap, even if the avocado wasn't quite ripe. It was the perfect meal before heading out to our concert, and I highly recommend it.

We came back to Sobelman's again yesterday and WOW -- somehow it was even better than the first time! We were lucky enough to have Ada as our server again, and she is truly the BEST. Since we had such a great experience with her before, we were so excited to see her again, and she absolutely did not disappoint. We went all in and literally ordered every appetizer on the menu (zero regrets ), and every single thing was incredible. The food was amazing, the drinks were great, and Ada made the entire experience so fun and seamless. She is attentive, friendly, upbeat, and somehow always seems one step ahead of what you need without ever making you feel rushed. Outstanding service like hers is hard to find, and she's a huge reason we'll keep coming back. Sobelman's -- please give Ada the recognition she deserves!

Solid burger joint! Sobelman's has indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a parking lot that is very steep, and there is also ample street parking. It is a ln old school, classic vibe. I enjoyed all the sports decor and memorabilia on the walls. Right off the bat, one of the things that stood out to me was how incredibly affordable this place was! Looking at the prices, I was surprised that you could get a burger here for around twelve bucks including fries. That's like fast food prices. Most restaurants charge way more than that and don't include fries, so this place is an amazing bargain! We got their cheese balls, which were cheese curds. These were not bad. I do prefer a more beer battered curd, but I didn't mind these. I also got a bacon cheeseburger called The Loser. In reality, it tastes like a winner. The bread bun is amazing, so soft and fresh. The burger is juicy and flavorful. It's also not too crazy big where all the toppings fall apart. The fries were also crispy and tasty. Our server was also very kind and attentive. She gave us sugar cookies at the end of our meal, which was a nice treat. Overall, I enjoyed coming here. I would come here again to catch a game and enjoy a drink and some bites. You get a decent burger that is also a good bang for your buck.

Sobelman's Pub is an Absolute Must if You Love Bloody Marys. My Friends Took me Here for the First time and We Thoroughly Enjoyed it. Diego was our Bartender and was Super Sweet and Informative. I can't wait to Come Back the Next Time I'm in Town.

On the last day in Milwaukee we were craving a good burger and Sobelman's came up as a place to check out, and it was a good choice. I got The Sobelman and that was a great burger. I can generally take or leave caramelized onions but with the jalapeño on the burger, they worked perfectly; the onions were well cooked to add a nice sweetness to counteract the spiciness of the jalapeño on the burger. My partner got the Double sans cheese, and agreed that it was a fantastic burger--actually too big a burger, so he'd downsize to the "regular" Sobelman burger next time. We got some of the Bacon Cheese Cracks, which were just ok. Maybe they would have been better having them in house rather than as part of a takeaway order, but they weren't as cheesy as I'd expected and there was a lot more of a breading-type thing involved. The pickle fries were yummy though! Next time I might try the macaroni bites or the jalapeño cheese balls instead of the bacon cheese things. The place was hopping when we picked up from here, though they had some outside seating available. They have a small parking lot but also some street side parking. It was also quite loud inside this place--if you don't like a really loud restaurant where you have to raise your voice to be heard, you may want to just pick up to go. I'd return to Sobelman's if there wasn't another place in Milwaukee I was eager to try--as long as it was warm enough for outdoor seating to keep the noise to a minimum.

A Milwaukee staple! If you're visiting, I highly recommend! As a local there are other spots not as swarmed to grab a burger or a bloody. If you are looking for a crazy loaded bloody, look no further! As stated, can be very busy during peak hours, but a good stop in a weekday for lunch. Small spot, but the do have cute barrel tables outside for more space!

The Bloody Mary was a meal in itself & really yummy! I had to wait for about 45 minutes for the others in my party to get there and I never felt like a burden. Very friendly waitstaff.

Food was awesome. Did have a wide selection to pick from a 2 page menu Service was great since I patronized at opening on a Tuesday Parking is awful in my opinion. Lot parking is "up a hill" angle parking. So it will most likely be horrible parking during "the snow season ". Street parking on weekends will be better than during the week Didn't like the evening parking situation since this a industrial business area

Four stars as the bartender was awesome. She took good care of me and checked on this first time visitor. I got the Crown Mary. Looks bigger in the picture on their website. But it was a great bloody and the cheeseburger slider was on point. Nice little lunch on a rainy day. Other staff including the person at the entrance didn't make eye contact and seemed disinterested. Maybe she was just shy. Anyway you must go so you can say you did.

This place is really good. Their burgers and appetizers are amazing and the vibe is really chill. I like that they have touch tunes and a slot machine too. The server was very nice as well and very attentive. Only two minor things that were unfavorable about this establishment in my opinion; 1. They don't know how to make an ol fashioned (but it's a pub so understandable) 2. The parking lot is on a really steep hill and pretty difficult to navigate, (this place is worth it though).

Stopped at Sobelmans for a bloody! Bloody was good and perfectly spicy. Staff was very nice as well. Was hoping the drink came in a glass mug, however. Would recommend getting there early if going on a weekend. Parking in lot is limited and can be challenging to get out of so prepare to park on street.

Park in the Sobelman's parking lot. Just saying..... Seated immediately. It's a bar so my wife got her usual. I ordered a Bloody Mary. We gotta talk about a Sobelman's Bloody Mary menu. Up to a whole chicken condiment for Bloody Mary's. See menu. The place is a bar/grill. In a nice old house. Wife got a bleu cheese w/mushrooms over swiss burger. Phenomenal. Thumbs up. I got the pork tenderloin sandwich. The meat was smashed into a sheet. Too thin. Too much breading. Where's the meat? Just an observation. Dry. Thumbs down. Bacon wrapped jalapeno cheese curds. Phenomenal. Flavors with spice and cheesy bacon. We scarfed them. Service was great. Food was hot. Ambiance is "Where everybody knows your name."

In September 2021, I went on a Chicago/Milwaukee vacation. I attended 3 baseball games: White Sox, Cubs, & Brewers (in chronological order) on 3 consecutive days with my friend who joined me for the vacation. Of the 3 baseball games I went to my conclusion is Go Brewers! My favorite basketball team, Phoenix Suns, where I'm from before living in the DC area the past 15 years, lost to Milwaukee Bucks in 2021 championship, which was disappointing. But I was happy for the Bucks as they seemed to be a nice team and was glad it wasn't Lakers, Knicks, or Spurs. Speaking of the Bucks, Milwaukee Brat House is right by where the Bucks play in what they call the Deer District. Experience: My friend was a bit crazy. He wanted to go to a baseball game a 4th consecutive night for a 2nd time in a row for Brewers. As great of time as I had, I wanted to see other things in Milwaukee. So, I drove around the around seeing various things. Then, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat for dinner and gravitated to the deer district area. I walked along Doctor MLK Jr Drive, a nice corridor with various bars & restaurants. I settled on Milwaukee Brat House. I ate outside as it was pretty busy, was hungry and just wanted to eat. I ended up getting a bratwurst and cheese curds. I think they had BOGO beer as I had 2 beers (as pictured). Brat was great, but I stopped eating pork not long after; so I'd probably get a standard hot dog. The #1 selling point for me was getting cheese curds. When in Rome in Wisconsin, I wanted more cheese curds. They were awesome! The beer was great too; I purposefully picked some local beer company. The server was nice & helpful too. Overall, a great choice.

It was a busy location, which is always a good sign, but the service kept things moving. The giant pretzel was excellent--crispy on the outside with just the right amount of salt and perfectly soft on the inside. The variety of dipping sauces made it even better. The cheese curds were also delicious and are a must-try if you're visiting Wisconsin. The bratwurst was very good and full of flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was enjoyable, and I'd definitely recommend stopping by Milwaukee Brat House if you're in the area.

It was a great value with some items I liked and some I didn't due to personal preference, not because anything wasn't prepared well, as it all appeared to be cooked properly. My girlfriend ordered the Celtic Grilled Cheese with bacon, arugula, aged white cheddar, aioli, grilled tomatoes on toasted sourdough. Her sandwich looked amazing, and I regret not asking for a bite. That may be a future order for me. She loved it! I also ordered the County Clare Bloody Mary, which is made with their own seasoning blend and served with a chaser of Harp beer. They asked me how spicy I wanted it, and I said medium, which I think they nailed. This was one of the best Bloodies I've had in town! Overall, a nice brunch experience with good service and a great ambience. I do want to return to try more brunch items.

The pub itself has a similar vibe to Three Lions. I ADORE the Union Jack painted on the ceiling and red English phone booth. It is reminiscent of a stereotypical "English" pub (and yes, I have been to many - mostly outside of London - in the past 3 years). There was only one employee working at my time of visit, and maybe 10-15 other patrons. I ordered the Ruben rolls, which were great but left in the fryer 2 mins too long. Sadly, they did not have any of the ciders or beers I longed for.... which is understandable these days due to tariffs. I definitely plan on going back to see what the vibe is like during World Cup matches.
