We have ordered food there in the past and have always been happy with the quality of the food, last time we order food my husband ordered the wings and they were burnt. We will not be going back there anytime soon. read more

Today is my birthday. Having been quarantined for weeks, my husband secretly ordered me a peanut butter pizookie from this location and drove me there to watch me enjoy a little treat on my special day. Pulling up I was super excited and shared my joy with the server who came to our car to give me my cookie and take our payment. To our surprise, they gave me my pizookie for free. Restaurants are taking a hit, and Oregano's is not immune. Thank you Oregano's, for not only giving me a free pizookie, but thank you for putting a tear in my eye....This senior is forever grateful and thoroughly enjoyed her birthday treat.... read more

I have been to three of the Oregano's The one on Dobson and the one in Gilbert are my favorites. I'm addicted to their lasagna and a side of their Italian sausage. Yup, order the same thing each time I stop. Why mess with perfection? read more

This place is amazing!! I've had it 3 times in a day day span and it never let me down. Between my girl and I we've tried 4 different things and the pizza. Lawdddd the pizza!!!! First deep dish I've had and this is now my standards for pizza. Give it a try!! read more

Jazmin was a wonderful waitress, she made sure our lunch came out perfect! She was always in eyeshot if we needed anything!

Solid dinner ! We were really disappointed because our deep dish pizza (of which there is none of in Maryland where I live) was burnt to a crisp at the bottom. We suffered the outdoor seating in August to have specifically that so it was especially frustrating. Otherwise, the nachos and salads were all great and flavorful. read more

Huge fan of Oregano's but usually the Mesa location. I just wanted to pass along a shout out for a great job handling a cancelled order that some idiot (yeah...ok, it was me) placed at the wrong store using the app. I'm not sure how I did it but I called to cancel the order immediately. Not only was the order cancelled, I got an email the next morning explaining everything, including the amount to be refunded to my card. Still had a GREAT Oregano's meal, from the Mesa location, but this was outstanding service and I wanted to call it out. Nice job. read more

I've enjoyed Oreganos every time I've went, this time was different. Wrong appetizers to begin with, food was cold (not the app. just our pastas) asked to reheat and was still warm. read more

Our server (Cody 2) provided amazing service tonight (he was very polite and friendly as soon as he greeted our table) and we were very appreciative of how attentive he was. The food came out very fast and so did our dessert. He was also very quick with refills. Thank you Cody 2, we look forward to coming back to this location from now :) read more

Always a good place to eat and they have awesome dishes. I strongly recommend the guacatony and the Caesar salad with chicken. The service is good, servers are polite and attentive, the food is delivered on time and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I would recommend against using the restrooms...its about the only area they need to work on...they are very dirty. Prices are excellent and the portions are super!! Btw...try the pizza cookie best I've had and can't beat the $4.99 price read more

Food and service both times I went were incredible. We sat outside this last time and the fireplace and heaters were perfection.

Service is normally on the slow side but the food is always on point. We've eaten here several times, just expect to slow down and take your time. read more

I was told about this place and so I had to check it out for myself. Walk in greeted and got seated right away. When the waiter came over he let us know the food could be spicy. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to eat as my stomach does it handle spicy so well. So I asked the waiter about a few thing on the menu that I could eat and I settled on the spaghetti. My husband and I share to Caesar salad. I would of like more dressing on it and I should of asked for more. Over we had a great time and would go back. read more

Last night we stopped in for dinner and had a very enjoyable evening. We sipped on a couple of their Bellinies (which I highly recommend if you like sweet and fruity frozen drinks) while we waited for our Chicago style pizza with poblano peppers and pepperoni.....Yummm! Im mostly writing this review to give a shout out to the young lady at the hostess stand with long dark hair who since the moment we sat down to the moment we left, did not stop running around clearing tables, sanitizing them and seating people. From my point of view she was the hardest working person in that whole place. Unfortunately I did not catch her name.. read more

We've been going to Oreganos for years, but recently their portions have gone down significantly. This was a take out order of the Big Rig Pasta, and I just opened it to find a small amount of pasta. Not even enough noodles to cover the bottom of the container. For an $11 pasta dish, I expect more than this. Not sure if I'll be coming back here if this is what the portions will be like from now on. I have since talked to the GM, Kim, about this issue and she was very quick with her response time and was kind enough to give us a refund for the issue. We hope to return soon! read more

I heard a joke once before ... they're not mad, they're just hot! And I use this to describe the customer service we received at lunch the other week. Our waitress didn't smile once while we were there. Just zero pizzazz. And it wasn't even 11:30 am yet for her to have a bad day, at least I don't think so. But at least she was nice? When our drink orders came, my co-worker ordered a sierra mist, only to find some black crud in his cup. Our waitress did apologize and came back with a new one for him. Other than that, the food is good there. Good enough that my co-workers come to this restaurant all the time. I ordered the O'zone Special of the day which was the Especial. But if we wanted to know what's in it, per the waitress, look it up under the hot sandwiches...hahaha. I ain't making this up. That's exactly what she told us. Although it was the o'zone special of the day, it seemed it was their regular sized calzone. I could only eat half of the calzone! And it tasted pretty good. And honestly, I have had better calzone and far better customer service. As always, I'm happy to change my rating with an improved experience. read more

Good pizza. I'm originally from Chicago where excellent pizza is pretty easy to find but now I live in Tennessee where finding a decent pizza is next to impossible! So I was totally up for some good pizza. Good crust and sauce and I would definitely go back when in town. The wait to be seated did take a while. read more

Best food I've probably ever had!! The cookie skillet is amazing and they have great service with food, seating, and well cleaned area!

Oreganos came thru and gave us 2 free pizzas for the dry pizzas we were originally served. Thanks

A great restaurant chain, just didn't have the best of experience at this location. Great vibe, very nice decoration (if you've never been inside, it's actually pretty cool) plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for your dining experiences. They have pretty much a full menu focusing on Italian based food. Well instead of getting my go to Pasta this time around I decided to get the stuffed pizza, MANNNNN THATS THE LAST TIME I DO THAT. I ordered a stuffed pizza which I was told would take 25-30mins because of how it's made, sure no problem I'm not stressed right? WRONG, 45mins later it's not 945 and they are closing in 15mins and I still haven't gotten my pizza yet, when asked they said "it should be coming right out, don't stress".. don't stress? It's been an hour and you're about to close. Now shame on me for going into a establishment an hour before closing and ordering this, but I honestly at this point just wanted my food so I could get a to go box and leave. Just felt unwelcome to stay once it go there so I left. I didn't tip because I did not feel that anyone deserved over the top performance. But the pizza was good read more

Stop by there with my wife for dinner. I had a bowl of angel hair pasta with meatballs on top and Emma had the Dark Afredo. For an appetizer Emma had the skillet of grilled veggies and I had the garlic bread with cheese. The entrees were ok but nothing to get too excited about. Have to admit though, the meatballs were very good. Our waitress worked very hard but the food coming out of the kitchen was very slow. It took 30 minutes just to get our appetizers. read more

I went to oreganos at around 6pm a week ago Friday with a group of Mexican friends. The place was half empty but we were told by a surly hostess that the wait would be at least an hour! We considered take out but after figuring running into a brick wall on that front as well, we checked on our wait: it was now an hour and a half. I looked around at the empty tables inside and out back. We left. Is this really who we are as a society? read more

Came in kinda late but seems to be everyone's dinner hour. Wait was quoted as 25 min but as usual, it was significantly less. I went to bar to get a drink while waiting and we decided to camp there. Really though, the hostess may tell you it's gonna be 25 minute wait but more often than not it's gonna be closer to 10-15 minutes. I rather not wait if there's a seat at the bar. Sydney was on top of things, as always. She provides great customer service, pours a good drink and knows the menu well. I recommend the Anita Margartia, but she makes a refreshing Mojito that's pretty darn perfect too. I like the veggies sides, a LOT. Don't know if anywhere else I can get Brussel Sprouts year 'round. Yummy. Like and recommend the Bowl o' Pasta if you're really hungry. I think it's bargain-priced up until 4 p.m. you can get meatballs meat sauce or sausage with that bowl of pasta for an additional charge too. Had a salad with steak in it to that I thought was great. Ziti is in a bowl made from pizza crust. l wasn't too impressed with it because it's such a hard bowl, not really an edible unless it's meant to feed my dogs or chickens. I suppose you could eat it but it's just kind of hard because they don't make it fresh. Pizza I've had only once and it just took so long I'll probably never want to order a pizza at Oreganos ever again. Good good, casual atmosphere, great servers too and a wait that's not typically as long as they quote. read more

This is a must visit when I'm back in Arizona. A great pizza/pasta place with the best pizza cookies. On this visit I had two of my favorites, Alfredo the Dark and the Big Rig. I like the food a lot. The service is a tad slow, but adequate. I have to warn you though! If you ask for anything extra, you will be charged for it! I asked for an extra side of marina sauce because the meatball sub has none on it. I was not told that I would be charged for it. This is really tacky in my opinion. At least tell people they will be charged. Perhaps if you put some sauce on the sandwich I wouldn't have to ask for it! Anyhow, I did end up getting a free pizza cookie for signing up for their loyalty program. We thoroughly enjoyed that. So, the cheesiness (no pun intended) is what is stopping a 5 star rating. That and the slow service. I guess that's just how they roll at Oregano's. We didn't even order pizza! The Queen Creek location is slow too. I did make my opinion known to the manager to which she apologized and blamed the minimum wage increase. Really? Excuses? Most employees in restaurants don't even make minimum wage so that excuse doesn't fly with me. I'll end up going back because I like the food, but tell me ahead of time if you're going to charge me extra. It's the point of the matter. It's not the cost. read more

This place is amazing! Make sure to try the cookie dessert. And I love the salad variety.

I always love their pizza! YUM! Of course that is what I got. But my friends said, we ordered some wings too. Cool! OMG, they are so good but since I am a wimp it was a little spicy for me. Yes, I know the decor is the usually Oregano's theme. What give it the 5 stars? The service! Our server ROCKED! She even offered to give us a togo cup of our drinks to take with us or get us fresh ones to take. SWEET! read more

We really enjoy this place and can't go wrong with the Alfredo in the dark and a Pazooki

I had not been to an Oregano's in like 10 years. They seems to be popping up all over here in AZ now so my buddy was in from out of town and he wanted to try, so why not. I'll tell you "Why NOT"... we has two thin crust pizzas... and I even hate to call them that. More like... crackers with melted cheese and some toppings. That was some of the worst excuse for pizza I've ever had. Most of the fast-food delivery pizza I've had beats it -- and I do not like, at all, delivery pizza. Maybe the pan pizza is better than the thin crust... god it could not be worse! It only deserves one star for the good service... other than that is the another sub-par overpriced "gourmet" pizza joint. If you want expensive, and good, pizza there are many good alternatives... Pizzeria Bianco, Grimaldi's, etc. read more

Holy friggin moly. Can't believe I'm staying to eat. This is the dud of my week in Tempe. Good thing my wife is a good sport otherwise I'd leave right now. Ordered a Dr Pepper and an unsweetened iced tea with no lemon. Got DP and lemon water. Asked the server to bring unsweetened tea with no lemon. She brought the ice tea and then took our order. That was the last time she talked with us until she brought out our ticket. A server dropped my wife's salad at our table and stood nearby talking with another server AND THEN WIPED HER FINGERS ACROSS HER NOSTRILS!!!!! Not really believing my food will be safe at this point in time. Ugh. Waiting for my pan pizza with high anxiety. Then my wife picked up the salt shaker and discovered the mess it was. UGH!! (Photo included) Pizza just arrived by same server who brought wife's salad. Bathroom wasn't terrible (my wife says). Pizza isn't too bad, but too spicy for a chicken/bacon pizza. But I'll eat half of it anyway...because I'm hungry. The table was clean when we sat down. That's a good thing. The theme is red and green. I like red and green. Server seems to be off line. .... .... Asked the hostess for some help and ......nothing. Had to get up and ask a second time for ranch. Our server never refilled drinks. Neither did any other server. Now I regret staying. My wife is pissed. Uh oh. We need the ticket and a to-go box so we can depart. I hope his doesn't take 30 minutes! The original server dropped a box and ticket then tried to run away. My wife actually slapped the table to get her attention. It was pretty cool. (My wife doesn't do this. She's the one usually holding me back!) My wife asked for the manager who arrived right away. (She was the server who brought the salad and pizza!) My wife explained how she watched our server tend to every other table with attention but failed with us. My wife said she's never refused to tip, but she was pissed enough to leave nothing this time. The manager took our ticket and apologized. Kudos to her. My wife felt bad because she didn't want our meal comped. The manager insisted. I love writing reviews and I love writing fun and happy reviews. This was one of those "Let's-try-Oregano's!-I've-never-tried-them-before" mistakes. I am thankful that the manager was polite and nice. This was bad enough that I can't make it a 2-star simply because she comped my meal. read more

These meals are so huge. I come here for lunch but the menu items I want are too big to eat for a lunchtime meal. I usually just settle on a salad which are very delicious and tasty but they are completely devoid of any of the healthy reasons that you'd get a salad to begin with. So I leave feeling guilty for the calories and bummed I didn't just get the Zany Ziti, Big Ol Ravioli or the Penne Pasta Bake.
