Paul advised that this was my fault because everyone knows that "readers" means for reading books close to your face. He completely put the blame on me. I wear readers for work, and have for over 10 years, and have never had this issue. Who is buying glasses for books only - he was insulting my intelligence and refused to take responsibility for his incompetence. I would have purchased frames from them but he refused to sell them to me because, in his personal opinion, they wouldn't look good on me. What the customer likes is irrelevant. In general, I found everyone in this office to be extremely defensive, regardless of the situation - from the front desk to the person administering the eye exam. I will never be back.

But recently I had an eye emergency and was seen by a well-known and respected Ophthalmologist, and during the exam, he asked me who my Optometrist was, and when I told him it was Dr. Butler in Stony Point he immediately was impressed and couldn't say enough nice things about Dr. Butler and how well-respected Dr. Butler is for the great work he does.
