What a lovely shop! The layout, lighting and the man who gave me my eye exam, Lee, were all very lovely. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a pair of glasses but most people probably will. What made this a less than wonderful experience for me was my interaction with one of the salespeople, who told me "you don't have to stay" when I told her that I didn't love what I'd seen so far. Lee was great and I highly recommend him but my experience was at best a two star with one more for the eye exam which was thorough. read more

Wonderful experience from the first contact through email to the final fitting of my beautiful new glasses. The follow up was immediate and an appointment was made for the following day with the Doctor. Dr. Lee was very thorough and professional. He also gave me some sample contact lenses to try at home. Top notch guy. All protocols for COVID-19 were observed and then some. This place is immaculate and has a very cool vibe. Lilly, the store manager took care of helping me select a new style frame. They even repaired my old frames for no charge to hold me over until my new lenses came in. The options are endless. She offered guidance without pushing me into any particular frame. Very patient and accommodating. I am getting compliments on my new glasses already. I would and have recommended Riehle Opticians to family and friends. I LOVE this MD Eye practice, the Doctors are incredibly straightforward & explain EVERYTHING including the patient so it is a more informative collaborative exam. And the Front Desk/Glasses staff are AMAZING! So on top of everything from the detailed receipts for insurance to calling to advise when my order (glasses, contacts, etc.) will arrive without inundating me with extraneous calls. Stopped by Riehle Opticians to get my glasses adjusted and was warmly greeted by Lilly. It happened to be during a "trunk" show featuring Lindberg glasses and Lilly asked if I would like to try some on. I never thought about glasses in the context of style, but Lilly convinced me to look at glasses in a totally different way, ie, not just to improve vision but to also project style. She was professional and quite informative and I decided to purchase two pairs of glasses. I called my now "old" optician who texted me my prescription and Lilly took care of the rest. I have been buying my glasses at Riehle Opticians for a couple of years now and it is always a great experience. I have my eyes examined there, getting both my glasses prescription and my contact lens prescription. I have been wearing glasses since childhood and contact lenses for decades. For most of that time I lived in NYC and had excellent opticians. Since moving upstate I have found Riehle Opticians to be as good as any experience I had in the city. I love their doctor, my glasses are gorgeous and the lenses work perfectly which is crucial. My new contacts work better than ever. There is no debating this - Just go see them. I ABSOLUTELY love everything about this place. Lilly, Michelle and David are all the kindest easiest people to talk to and they make you feel so welcome. Even better they are also WONDERFUL at what they do. Where else can you walk in, sit down and have experts pick out frames for you. I tell them all the time, it's like the show "Say Yes to that Dress." You sit down and try on glasses they pick out for you based on your face shape and your preferences. Lost my family as a customer. The one woman, can't remember her name but the one who looks like a bird was extremely rude and unreasonable. She was belittling my mother and I had to tell my mother to just go because I was getting so worked up over the fact that this woman was a horrible sales person and just not pleasant at all. The other people who have helped us in the past were very nice which is why this review isn't only getting one star. I don't recommend going there. read more

Took advantage of some down time from work and made an appointment to get my eyes checked and get new lenses. Riehle staff and their process is efficient and thoroughly respects social distancing practices and respects customer needs and concerns. From the examination by the optometrist to figuring out lenses and frames suited best for me, it was a great experience. Very patient, pleasant and answered all my questions. I'm sorry, I don't remember the optometrists name, but he was great. Spent a lot of time with me and was very educational. Lily was wonderful, she did all the work, never had to leave my seat. Riehle is a boutique store and lives up to the name with selection, customer service and personal attention. Oh how I love this place! Conveniently located in downtown Warwick, it has a comfy, clean, fun vibe as soon as you walk in. It's a gorgeous store. The staff could not not have been more helpful as I walked in desperate to have my fave pair of sunglasses fixed. They were so awesome and even had me in and out of there in no time. My family and I purchased our first pair from Riehle in 2018. We had a good experience and I went back in 2019 and it was an awful experience with Lily the manager. It was like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. She was not the same person who had taken care of us the year before. As the French would say, "very ordinaire". She was rude, obnoxious, and condescending. Her comments we classless. In addition she was rude to my daughter who also wanted to purchase a pair of glasses. In early January I was in the Columbus circle company store and had a nice chat we the staff there. They were professional and delightful. They suggested I call corporate and report my experience, so I did. Hopefully this experience will not happen to someone else. If you want Morganthal Fredricks eye wear, I suggest you go into the city where you will get a courteous sales representative with class and finesse and not a classless hick with an arrogant and pompous attitude. read more
