I had ordered this pair of glasses as backup. I cannot see out of them! I had my eyes checked again elsewhere and there was NO change from the prescription I came in with and he ordered for me UNDER. The order should have been -2.25//1.75 and -2.75//1.75. He needs to retire and the practice needs to fill my Rx properly. Of course I have received no response from the above message I sent and have since learned of 2 friends that had the same experience. Now, I get a call trying to see if they can make it right after I complained in person twice add the 20 miles each way drive x 2 for exam and pick up if I did so. Nah. Yup, she was lovely but fueled my fire. There are other options for eye glasses in Warwick. That said, I will stick with my NJ eye doctor and order online Zenni Optical.

I went to Eyes on Hudson to fulfill prescriptions for two pairs of very specialized glasses. The…read moreoptician took my prescriptions, but did not do any consultation or measurements at the visit. (I brought my own frames.) When I received the glasses and I couldn't see out of them, I found out from a subsequent visit to my orthoptist and another optician that both pair of glasses we made incorrectly and that the prescription in one pair was way off. When I contacted Eyes on Hudson about the issues, my concerns were met with exasperation and an overall unwillingness to work with me. I have since gone to another optician who specializes in difficult prescriptions. Perhaps Eyes on Hudson is very good for general glasses. But I would not recommend the business if one has any special needs.

Brion has been incredibly patient, professional, diligent, and meticulous with me and in helping me get the proper glasses and tools for me to function and live my life. With my prescription, the slightest margin of error can create distortion and loss of function for me. And the type of Glasses I can use are limited. It has been a lot to get used to and very frustrating and scary. But I'm grateful I have Brion as part of my team to help me navigate the eyeglass side of it. He is a master at his craft. Fast forward several years and after being unhappy going elsewhere I called Dr Feder office and was told they've always accepted my insurance! I was so happy to find this out I made an appointment on the spot. My wife and I both just had exams and are extremely happy with how we were treated! Dr Feder has all new staff that was a joy to deal with. The whole office has been remodeled. And best of all he still sits and takes the time to do a very good and through exam including taking digital images of the eye to detect future onset of glaucoma much earlier. He sits and answers any questions or concerns you have as well and you never feel rushed! I would highly recommend that if you need a good eye doctor that you give Dr Feder a try. As a type 1 diabetic for 40 yrs my vision has suffered. Ive had several eye surgeries and ive been seeing the same retina specialist for many years. Ive been complaining about an issue for some time now and im always told "youre retinas are fine, nothing more we can do" I had an eye exam by Dr. Nathanson at Luxe that revealed i did in fact, have a serious issue. He was very thorough, took his time with me and listened to me descibe what i was seeing. Im so grateful, moving forward, the eye requires a serious surgery. Heather was my initial experience at Luxe. She helped me navigate the different lenses they offer and explained in detail how each one would provide a slightly different view.
