It's a regular glass storefront with stores on both sides. Inside your have glasses on the left and right walls. You have contacts on the rear walls to the left and eye glass fixing to the rear on the right. As soon as you walk in you have the customer service desk with the waiting area to the left and the sales tables to the right. All the way in the back is where they do the eye exams. The inside is nice nothing special. I've never had good luck at this place in the past and it does not look like I will have good luck with them in the future. I only come here for the location and because this is the only brand I can visit with my insurance. I had to call my union once to contact the higher ups because of problems with this place. I don't understand the point of making an appointment online when places like this call you after you make an appointment to ask you to change your time. It doesn't make sense at all and is the complete opposite of what I wanted to do obviously. They then asked me for insurance information and personal information over the phone. The only reason I provided it was because I have the number saved and I know it was the store actually calling. This place has come a long way the staff is extremely friendly now. The service and waiting time is much shorter than in the past. I was actually dreading coming to this place. But I was pleasantly surprised by the staffs knowledge and friendly conversation. They do need of a glass frame selection especially high end stuff. There glasses range from sixty up to two twenty. But their all made in China. Hopefully, in the future they can add some higher end glass frames to the selection. I'm happy with the lens options especially the ones that make your lenses thinner than regular ones. They even make them in transition lenses which is cool. I totally like the eye protection they offer against the suns harmful rays. They aren't for me at the moment. The contacts were what my insurance covered and work well for me and helped me out with the pricing and all of that good stuff. The gentle man doing the eye exams was good and had a good character.

Once I selected the pair we both agreed looked great, checkout was fast--and I even received a discount on my frames. I was out the door by 2:01 PM, if not earlier. Truly quick and efficient service. Preparing myself and going to Davis Vision because of my insurance, I was determined to stay within my allotted allowance. Upon entering and having my eye exam I was set at ease. The Doctor was pleasant and informative. Without using jargon that I had no idea what he meant, he explained why I was having difficulty seeing, that it wasn't my eyesight exactly but a focusing issue. In the past, I was just told- wear your glasses all the time. I finally understand why I have difficulty. Now on to my favorite part of my visit- picking out frames- I worked with Sue aka "mamma". she was beyond phenomenal! I have never had a pleasant experience picking out frames until today. She knows her stuff, and eliminated the need for me to be overwhelmed at the shelves- I just sat down and she brought frames to me. Through elimination, my preferences and honest feedback from Mamma, I found an awesome pair of frames that flatter my face and were within my budget. To boot, this took place in record time for me of in and out within one hour- in the past, I literally have spent over an hour and a half just trying to pick out frames! I've been coming to this Pearl Express location for many years. After a horrible experience at…read moreanother vision center making my glasses incorrectly repeatedly, I came to Pearl and they made my glasses correctly and quickly. I think the first time I came here I got my glasses in like 2 hours. That was over 5 years go. I won't go anywhere else. I recently had to have a prescription remade because it wasn't strong enough, after going back to my eye dr. and coming back with a new prescription they remade my glasses with no fuss and were happy to do it. They even gave me a credit since I decided to downgrade from polycarbonate lenses to standard lenses ( I was having trouble with that lens type and my prescription). It wasn't even a pearl vision mistake but they will gladly remake a prescription within 30 days of purchase and they even told me they are flexible on that within a few days. Glasses are fine now! They give an insurance discount on glasses and contact lenses. They always get my contacts pretty quickly! Usually about 3 days, it may vary on your brand/prescription though. Depending on your prescription they can make your glasses either the same day or pretty quickly. Even when they did not have my lenses in stock I only waited about 3 days. When they remade my glasses this time around I brought them Friday and picked them up Sat. The staff is always friendly and helpful! I trust Pearle Vision to make my glasses correctly and get my contacts when I need them and that's what they do! FYI if you do go here, avoid Sundays as they are kind of under staffed on Sunday for some reason and the wait can be a bit slow.
